Why am I not surprised?

I don't think they even had math camp when I was in school . . . or I probably would have went.

Totally random comment: Does anybody else have any socks made out of bamboo? They are really soft.

My mom went to summer camp (I think it was of an academic nature- math, science, sumthin') in KALAMAZOO circa 1966.

My my sister wins the family geek trophy.... she went to SPACE camp.

Totally random answer: No.

Dh didnt go to "MATH" camp - he went to "COMPUTER" camp - back in the dark ages, when a computer took up a WHOLE ROOM!!

and they didnt have no stinkin shirts neither!! and he didnt take pictures!!

The goog thing because he went to Computer Camp, he was accepted at that school - Rose Hulman Poly Institute... what's the poly stasnd for?? All I know it was one of the top 5 schools in the nation for computers, but they didnt have computer engineering back in THOSE days - it was "electrical engineering"

Hmmm, that's interesting - I wonder who that camp was sponsored by? Maybe Kalamazoo College?

If they had had space camp in the late 60s/early 70s, I think my hubby would have loved to have gone.

So I went to Miss-er-UH today. Grasshopper had his checkup (9 lbs 12 oz!) and after I described his symptoms the dr sent us directlyto the Children's Hospital for a ultrasound. The good news is he does not have the condition they thought he had (which requires surgery). However we still don't know what is causing his tummy troubles. They had to give him sugar water because he was so fussy during the ultrasound and now he is sleeping hard. I guess I will ring in the new year with one of my favorite guys because he is sure to be up all night.

Eating was an adventure tonight. I decided I didn't feel like making the mashed tater soup and made a grilled cheese sandwich and Campbell's mushroom soup instead. I'm sure I'll be hungry later since I didn't have much to eat before that. I can't eat like a bird like Marita!!!

DH must be watching a Columbo-a-thon. Guess I'll go find my book.
