I am certain you are refering to sugar and spice and everything nice. (spelling, smelling, and otherwise)

My toleration level is at an all time low with you...just sayin'. Bring it.

I am taking a depp breath and counting to ten. You better be gone by then.

I wish I could take a Depp breath. I am still coughing. I think I have Pneumonia or maybe just bronchitis. It's giving me a headache, otherwise I feel fine and dandy! Seriously fine.

Did anyone actually get a Tater Mitt? I never needed one, though.

Funny you should mention that. I caught the tail end of some product reviews on a morning show today (thanks to my  day). They reviewed the Tater Mitt. It got a one star rating because
a) They don't tell you that you have to BOIL the potatoes first
b) It does not get they eyes out

Another product was the Videlia Chopper, which I actuall DO OWN. It got a 5 star rating (and I really like it too) $19.95

Wendy and Mony, hope you feel better soon

Twink: Hope the medicine helps Grasshopper! Poor twinkiemama. Good luck getting your "real" computer fixed in your "spare" time.

Snarkchick: Wuckety. adding it. yep. yup. yip. yap.

LilG: I think it's cool the Giants won too. I was kinda hoping for a Giants vs. Colts SuperBowl. Then all the people who hate the Mannings could hate them even more. I've decided to root for Green Bay. Perhaps Favre can get another ring before he becomes eligible for social security.

1. Thank you for the healthy grasshopper wishes. And for the good luck. I am going to need it. The "real" computer has some sort of trojan virus. Yuck. And the laptop has sticky keys that don't always work... hence all the spellun errors.

2. Wuckety. I love it. So if you feel wuckety you might beurk?

3. Good choice on Green Bay. I am rooting for them too.

Twink
.....Poor Gabey Baby!
Tee hee. Gabey Baby. That is what I call him too. Shh! Don't tell the DH, he will think it isn't a manly enough name. Of course he hasn't been at ALL the doctor's apts where they ask for GAH-brie-elle Twinkessori. And the DH keeps trying to give him the knickname "booger head" :snooty:

Is there a way to call in sick from mommy duties?

HA!!!! sick days are like free time

1. Prezackly!

2. My BFF's DD is named Gabriella....you'd be amazed at how many strangers want to call her Gabriel (she's even gotten a few who say, "Gabriello") Oy.

3. This is know: sick days and free time for mommies are nothing but an urban myth.

1) Oh oh oh, I love that too!!!!!!!! I should use that next time I email in sick!

"Sorry, I won't be in today. I feel so wuckety that I fear that I might beurk any minute. ACK!"

2) I thought so too, until my grown children invaded my house today unexpectedly on my "sick day". But at least they dont expect to be catered to. I would laugh at them  So don't dispair, someday your day will come too!

Well I knew I was OKEY........two xrays per hand or should I say per thumb......I have a little arthur but mostly carpal tunnel....and very unusal to have it in my not dominant hand.....I am a right handed person and this is all left.....I have to wear that dang brace. She did say not to let it get to the point of alot of pain during the day.....usually the pain is at night.....numbness in three fingers on both hands if I am holding onto something...

Wendy......this is work related......when I do diapers ....old fashion diapers as well as pampers....I hold the tapes and the sides with thumb and index finger and it was alot of repetition.....so work related carpal tunnel and cubatal tunnel.....I am old......

Yes, but just to be thorough, I would add, "If I continue to feel wonky, I'll be extending my work-at-home hours through the next several days." :thumbsup2

Oh, and BTW, check out my post count!!!! Is it smarmy if I give myself a MOO HOOTY? :woohoo:

Pumba-- carpal can be pretty painful. Had that in both hands when I worked. Had to squeeze my hands all the time looking for bones in chicken.

We are still getting snow but it the light dusting type today. Nicholas is happy because he is for sure going snowboarding. Hope he doesn't break anything or lose anything. We bought everything but the board and boots. They wanted $30. for a helmet rental. We paid a little more to buy one. Then he has his googles, which he is always forgetting his swimming ones and gloves, which he has lost normal ones. Guess I can't follow him around forever.

Lynette -- good to here your dd is feeling better. I am sure there will be more snow days. Winter isn't over yet .

Marita-- I can't wait until my kids don't need to be catered too every minute. I am glad they don't wake me up any more on a Saturday morning for breakfast that is a start.

Moo Hoooty Lynette on 5,000 posts !!!!

:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo::woohoo:

I agree with Lynette. You better let them know that if you continue to feel wonky you might not be in tomorrow either.

Yes, diapers and baby food jars are hard on the hands. Also holding a tiny baby where you use your wrist for head support. And slicing apples. I am pretty sure I slice an average of 5 apples a day.

I have fallen in love with the new limited edition Diet Dr. Pepper Chocolate Cherry flavor. It is like dessert. And it has caffiene. And no calories. :woohoo: Yes it does taste a leetle chemical-lly but let me restate: chocolate, calorie free, caffiene full- every mama's dream.

MOOO HOOOTY on 5,000 posts, Lynette!!!!!

:dance3: :hippie: :worship: :cheer2:

Definitely NOT smarmy!

Now my dear grown up children who said they were going to go to the gym decided to do their workouts in the living room :scared1:
DD brought out excercise ball, weights, a resistance band, push up handles and a chair!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:guilty:

Why oh why did they have to pick today for this????????

Pumba, hope your hands get better soon!

Geez Marita don't they know you are sick today......:lmao: You need peace and quiet.

And why does the baby sleep for DH for hours and for me only minutes.

OH Yea, cause he gets to sit the whole time while he's holding her. Doesn't have to move. Can even doze himself.

Is there a way to call in sick from mommy duties?
Only during hospital stay after having a new BABY. Kind of counter productive, though.

Why can't the baby sleep when all the others do?
Because! My day care baby (who got me sick) is having a hard time breathing, she's stuffed up so no naps today for me! Wah! But she's super cute and I love to hold her. I wish I could bottle her scent!

CHOCOLATE? I need some!!! I ordered a new Scentsy German Chocolate candle that smells a little chemical-lly but it's CHOCOLATE. (Cue Barry White: "ooooh yaaaa")

Oops, I deleted your apple comment. 5 apples? Sheesh. Peeled too? You rock! Have you tasted McApples at Mickey-Dee's? Totally doused in some funky chemical.

Remember that conversation/contest we had last year about making do with supplies on hand in your mini-van/Suburban? I thought of this when I wrapped a Walmart bag around a blow-outed day care toddler and wrapped her uber-soiled clothes in a laminated art project (from last year) and cleaned her bum with fast food napkins and a half drank bottled water. :cool2:

Nabby Girl- You're nearly at a milestone post too. Get chatty! popcorn::

You are started to sound like Edward.

You forgot that he can also watch TV while holding the baby.

No! I don't peel unless they are Granny Smith. I do slice. My kids eat so many apples even Grandma has given up on peeling. And no, we have never had the McFruit because if I am going to McD's then I want a cheeseburger and fries. We can eat apples at home. ;)

Didja know that like 40% of McDonald's profits are from Happy Meals?????

In my early brainwashing campaign, I have convinced my kids that mommies can't buy happy meals. Only grandmas. Saves me money and cuts down on the McCrappy toys. Unless the toy is really cool then I magically seem to have money from grandma;)

Way to go on the mom survival challenge.:thumbsup2 I haven't cleaned out my minivan for MONTHs. I am sure I could host a small party with the food strewn through out.
:rolleyes1
