Wheat Thins
Way to go, Cel!!!!! :rotfl2:

Today is a day that will go down in innnnnfaaaaaaaamy.

;)
Still laughing . . .

MommyP, my DD calls that dark tan color mud brown, but I think I know what you meant by  :rolleyes1 But I have always liked it and there are lots of new houses that color around here. With dark green trim - it looks nice! That color sure would hide dust/dirt better than white. But when DH built his pole barn/man cave, we had white siding and black shingles put on it so that the house siding and new roof would be easy to match when we could afford it. And it WAS much easier to match. Didn't take long for us to reach that agreement either.

But that appliance allowance is pitiful! You can hardly get a decent fridge for that much :headache:

Is your hubby or boys able to feed Isaac the extra milk from a bottle? Babies will typically take bottles better from somebody other than their mommies.

Nabbie, it is really windy here tonight. Back to wintry weather, I guess.

Oh, and I was going to ask Pumba what that spawning comment was about.

And where the heck is Marita tonight??!

Just for the record, I would not show my niece and nephew the "Simpsons" DVD. My kids have not seen it. It was a joke. Although, we do let them watch things like "The Exorcist" just for kicks.

And yes, we drink juice boxes. Mostly, b/c I got tired of the redhead spilling the juice all over the table.

And we eat nonhealthy snacks at times. And sometimes we go to McDonalds and clog our arteries full of crap.

But I do balance it with healthy food the majority of the time.

I meant NO disrespect to my SIL. I even tease her about her "rigid" ways. And I love her dearly. I just think that when you are a kid, it's ok to have a little fun sometimes. It's odd to me that her kids find "juice" a treat. But that does not mean she is wrong, it is simply different here in the babynurse house. Juice is not a treat. Cookies are a treat.

Moo - it is getting colder. We were spoiled for the last few days.

Mommy P-- I had to feed and pump when I had Hannah. Only difference is Hannah wasn't getting much from me so I also had to give her formula anyway. How long do you have to pump for?

I do like your colours too. Can't wait to see a picture of the final house. I am guessing you have no appliances that are yours. Hope you hit some real good sales and can get want you want.

Evenening, everyone!

Moo, I am here, just working late and catching up on things. Glad you got your toe fixed!

Pumba, yay on the hair!

I am now eating my dinner of chips and dip, LOL! Just didn't feel like making anything.

Celebrity apprentice coming on now popcorn::

And I am taking the day off tomorrow :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

some breast milk is lacking the calories that some babys need....my friend breastfed her first two and then the third one was not gaining .......they said that even though she had breast milk it was not full of the good stuff.....calories to make the baby gain......

I am ready for the poop sack.....old age crept in when I wasnt looking.....
night my friends

Glad you have the day off tomorrow, Marita. Even under the circumstances, it was nice to be off work today. Gotta go in tomorrow and fill out my timesheet :rolleyes1

Hope you made some progress on your project.

CSI and ER are new tonight too :thumbsup2

Oh, I have something embarrassing to post today!

I gave Sandy, Allie, and PJ my cell number (which is sharpied on my phone cause I cant remmber it, becaus I never use it). In case they were planning a meet I could make it too.

So the phone rang on my way home a little after 5 today. I did not pick it up, because I dont do cell phone while driving.

So after I got home, I tried to retrieve my message.

NO CLUE HOW! And I did try, I really did! Pushed buttons every which way!

I can read text messages from virgin mobile ads, but found no way to get to hear voicemails.

And no kids around tonight to come to the rescue!
Not that I would have made it anyway, since I am off for the next 3 days (and NOT driving to Disney), but I felt rather stupid!
So, Sandy, Allie and PJ, sorry that I did not return call today!

Marita, you should be able to view your missed call in your call history more easily than checking your voicemail.

And just call the number back tomorrow and see who picks up and explain about the missed call!!!

What in the heck is a dsum formula?
I'll write a formula for the random number generator I had to do day before yesterday.
This only works in excel.

=RAND()*2502
Then cut and paste it around 20 times to make the compliance officer happy. but only for the NON ROUTINE totals - for the routine totals, change it to
=RAND()*18253

Or here's the formula for my credit card balance -

=IF(D116=0,b116+c116,((d116*b116)+b116))

it sums up data based on criteria.

The point is, there are skills some of us have and some dont. Apparently retrieving phone messages is NOT one of my skills!

DTD- sorry about the layoff, hope something works out... and don't be afraid to collect unemployment, this is what it is for

Where of where is Twinkie? It's noticeable when she's not here. :guilty:
Like the quality of posts goes way up?
HA! Thanks for missing me. I was busy. The beurking is back.
Re the juicebox controversy. :faint: I can't believe you people give your children JUICE. Actually I don't. Now it is too pricey but I didn't even when I had one kid and two incomes. My kids don't eat well when they have juice. So it is a treat. I have never bought a handysnack. I am, um, er, frugal. We blaze through fresh fruit here. And cookies ;) and today the little twinkies *may* have helped themselves to a bag of nacho chips this afternoon while I dozed off....

I had a day. Goldenchild isn't feeling well. We missed the bus and I had to drop off the girls at school which resulted in a temper tantrum from you know who cause he didn't get to go. The beurking is back.
Now all kids in this house have juice for snack time and at least two or so cookies with frosting in the middle......one day a week I make either a cake or brownies.....but the cake has my home made frosting with my special vanilla...

WHICH consists of a bottle of vodka and six or so vanilla beans sliced opened....
ok I was skimming and I read this post this way

Now all kids in this house have juice for snack time WHICH consists of a bottle of vodka

I crack myself up.
MommyP, my DD calls that dark tan color mud brown,
Around here we call it ****** County Brown. Cause every house in my county (including mine) is that color.

MommyP- I totally understand how you feel. I know lots of tricks from the feeding challenges of my cleft palate princess.... one is to try pumping and then feeding- then he will get the higher calorie hindmilk.

OH no, Twink! Sorry the buerking is bACK and Goldenchild is under the weather. Hope the ACKing up is just a fluke and you can get the computer doc to fix what
s wrong with the puter. My, both Mamas with puter problems . . . it must be catching.

You were missed around here. And. You know how we worry  :grouphug:

Hindmilk. That'll get WT going :rolleyes1

May I just say, I love all our friends around here. (Kumbyaa)

Sorry about the buerkeing being back, Twinkie! ( i guess that defines our definition of that smiley)

GOOG MORNING! :sunny:

I went out with the girlfriends last night and am feeling a little worse for the wear. I am not a big drinker (despite the siggie picture) so last night about did me in. I'll take one of these now....
bloody_mary_narrowweb__300x449,0.jpg
Thanks, Moo! :thumbsup2

Marita....Yay for the day off! I would take a sick day today if I could. Too much to do this week! And....check your call log. I have Sandy's cell phone # if you need it.

BNCG.....I might be your SIL too. But the story was still really funny. My boy is NOT afraid to get dirty but my famous line regarding the prepackaged snacks and juice boxes is......THOSE ARE FOR THE LUNCHES!

Twinkie
....I guess the beurking was unrelated to the RSV?

I'm sure there was more I wanted to quote. I need to go back to bed.

HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY!

Moring Everyone.

Would being put on a hormone put me into a major funk? Mean and then deflated. I just can't decide which mood to stick with. My DH is probably all so happy to be leaving for TX on Sunday.

Happy Friday. The weekend is finally here!

Are you guys kidding me? MY kids think WATER is something that only comes comes out of the shower, is already in a swimming pool OR that you drink ONLY at a restaurant. (and not Chick Fil A either) As far as prepackaged snacks and the such. We buy the huge mombo jombo box of Gushers at Sam's Club. We also STILL have a huge tub of Halloween candy that is still fair game. In regard to TV habits, Nick and Disney are the ONLY channels my 24/7 brand spanken new Christmas TV is ever tuned to. (I DID put in a reservation for the SuperBowl) Somehow, someway they are still alive. Somehow, someway they are still good kids. Well, at least two of them are. Have a great day.

Wheat Thins (the ONLY semi-health snack we have in the house)

Just wanted to share with you guys what I packed in my kids lunch this morning.

A bacon double cheeseburger. Actually I packed Caleb a triple, he has a big appetite even though he is skinny as a rail.

A can of Pringles.

A deep fried Snickers.

And a beer.

I thought the beer was a "tad" too much for my little guys since they are in elementary school, so I packed them a Red Bull energy drink instead.

Come on people. My post yesterday was a joke. I thought it was funny that her kids come to my house and I get to be cool aunt and pump them full of sugar and Coke and send them on their way. It's like they were at grandma's house.

Although we do buy juice boxes and my kids have the occasional handy snack even when it's NOT school time. AND they get to watch cartoons until I think their brains are sufficiently rotted and then I actually make them turn it off.

I do find it weird that her boys don't want to get dirty though. Isn't that why God made little boys? Where's the fun in that?

AND I have discussed all of the above with her. I love her. She loves me. We're a happy familiy. *cue the purple dinosaur*
I tell her to loosen up, she tells me to shape up. We're the perfect combo. Speaking of Combos, I think Julia took a bag to school with her today. ha.
