And oddly enough, I will be home alone. Well, alone with the twentysomething kiddos. I think we are going to have a fine dinner of "clean-the-fridge" and then watch High School Musical 2.

I haven't seen either High School Musical but I trust that the ending will be happy AND that the plot shouldn't tax my brain too much so I should be able to :happytv: and :surfweb: if anyone is around.
I love High School Musical! I thought 2 was pretty goog too. I need to see it again though. My best friend and I watched the karaeokee version of it on the Disney channel and sang through the whole thing. I can't even begin to explain the eye rolling that took place as people walked by and 2 21 year olds were belting out High School Musical. :rotfl: How did you like it?

PJ- I was going to answer your Boxer question but it proved to be kind of complicated. Cause I would say they are medium-big. But it depends on what you are used to so you might consider them big. They other thing is that they can be intimidating to strangers. And the ones I have met have been fairly smart, ie not easy to trick. However grown men should have been able to deal with the dog. But maybe the neighbors wanted to see cute pregnant MommyP climb up in the truck and dog wrestle.
My dog is a Shih Tzu so pretty much any dog is big to me! It's okay though, if you can't explain something just make it up and I'll believe you because I won't know any better.

pj - umm. doesn't kenny chesney "play for my team?"
ya know.
family.
Depends on which tabloid you read!

Hi!

I just got back from seeing Nanny Diaries with my best friend. I would highly recommend it. Then again I have been told I have horrible taste in movies. More than once. Tomorrow is move in day and I am still looking for someone to help me move all my junk. Oh well, I'll get it all to school somehow!

I just heard from Elisabeth and I was given very specific instructions on what to post from her. She's pretty strict, ya know.

ahem

Colts won 37-3
yay
goodnight

Hope I got it right....

GOOG MORNING, EVERYONE!

Stayed up late watching "The Prestige" on DVD last night. Goog movie! Very intricate plot and great ending but you gotta pay attention....not conducive to watching with children. You have been warned.

Lil G... For crying out loud...what are you doing up so late! Get some sleep, man!

MOO
....Thank googness! But sounds like you had a fun day and really who am I to talk. I'm always gone for a week at a time. I'd love to chat sometime! I've never chatted. How do you chat? Where do you chat? I'd probably never be up that late though.

PJ.....If Elisabeth can drive to Indy to see the Colts, surely she can drive over to Cincy and help you move in the dorm. Maybe a hotel trip to see the Reds play? Just sayin........

NAB!
Welcome home! Sorry about the laundry. Geez....I hate vacation laundry. Glad you had a goog time and saw some cool stuff and most of all made happy family memories with your younguns.

Twinkie....I misunderstood your post. I thought the "twentysomething" referred to age not the actual number of children. Now you bring to mind the old woman who lived in the shoe. Goog to know you are not FREAKS! I love potluck picnics! Is that deviled eggs you're making?

MommyP, Celery, Marita, and ever-body......:wave2:

My dog is a Shih Tzu so pretty much any dog is big to me!

We have a schitzu too! But you would know that if you'd read my trip report. :sad2:

Hi lil blue! as always, your cow pic is adorable!

hey lil g - You crack me up! If we ever meet in person, you can not be marking your territory!!! :rotfl:

lex - I need to see a current pic of you before the trip so I know who to avoid! ;)
and we can chat sometime a bit earlier - I try to go to bed between 9 and 9:30 CST, so it's hard for me to chat too.
moo will send you the link.

We're off to church! woo!
I wanted to go to the early service, but we didn't make it.

Morning all, oops afternoon all.

I slept in and only had 10 minutes to get to church this morning. But we made it and Nicholas got to serve.

Now I am still in unpack, do laundry mode and all I want to do is go back to sleep.

Poly-- I did see your other avatar you had. You sure do have a room with a view. But I do like you Youdee? Are you going to write a trip report for us? How is your mom doing?

The kids got the post cards. It was a priceless moment. Thanks so much. Hannah read hers first. When you put "I am well and miss you!" she said I think she means I miss you....:rotfl: Then Hannah said but when? Of course we got the answer from Nicholas's card. Nicholas was just as excited the look on their faces, he liked the paw print. Hannah then said I don't think Cinderella saw me with short hair yet? Now that is all they are talking about.

Lil'g-- still unpacking must have misplaced it somewhere.....:rotfl2: I did do a grab bag thing at a Christmas store and got this scary looking Octupus  The kids got cute bears. I should have picked from the kids box.

Lexi-- you really should come chat with us.

Welcome Rob and P.J. :cheer2:

Lil'Blue -- I saw your education on cows. How old is T.J. now? What is he up too!!

DonaldtDuck-- lucky you....I want to met Babynurse too. With all the heat in that little trailer you are ready for the heat of WDW.

So much to catch up on.....

:scared: ..those nasty storms, missed you moo! :goodvibes :wizard:
Yes, Lil G, thank googness the storms missed us. We had a tornado touch down about three miles down the road from us a few years back. The one on Friday was further away than that. Several homes were destroyed or damaged pretty badly, including an in-home daycare. Fortunately, she got the kids into the basement. I guess the tornado warning sirens were going off outside at work, but since I work in the lower level of my building and am not near any windows, I had no clue how bad the weather had gotten until my friend who works upstairs stopped by my office :sad2:

MOO[/B]....Thank googness! But sounds like you had a fun day and really who am I to talk. I'm always gone for a week at a time. I'd love to chat sometime! I've never chatted. How do you chat? Where do you chat? I'd probably never be up that late though.
Thanks, Melinda!!! We miss you when you're gone too. I am looking forward to meeting you soon! :dance3:

Ditto what Cel just said! Two attractive young ladies in that pic!!!!!!!!!

I PMed you the chat address. We'll have to try to chat earlier. I'm sure expectant mommies and Cel would prefer that too ;)

just testing stuff.

stalling before taking the girls to campus
:yay: YouDee's back!!!

I would be stalling, too, if it was time to take my DD to campus, poly! ;) Earlier this week, my DD let us know she would be coming home the weekend after Labor Day :woohoo: She needs to have something on her car fixed where she bought it so she can pass the inspection in NC.

oh geez, the cat is licking the dog's ears!!! and he just lays there enjoying it......

Hi!

Melinda- you are BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!! Of course I am not surprised at all since you have very attractive children- but what is the line? oh yeah Great Picture. Thanks for sharing :thumbsup2

NAB- The thought of the kids getting the postcards made me all teary eyed. What a great story. I love how Hannah thinks.... "but Cinderella hasn't seen me with short hair yet"

Lil-G- If I ever go on a cruise I will take your suggestion and wear an itsy bitsy teeny weeny polka dot bikini. HA! :rotfl2: So my dad taught my 5 year olds all the words to that song this summer- and they promptly declared it the Family Song. :lmao:

Busy day- the picnic was great and the weather couldn't be better. We went out to a lake there was a breeze and tons of church food. I brought brownies (all gone I might add) and a pasta salad with ham, cheese, peas, & eggs with a spicy mayo dressing. Yum.

I just wish I would have video taped it to save. Nicholas's was from Pluto, how great is that. The post cards are in there rooms next to their beds so they can keep reading them until we go.

Wish they were that excited about going back to school. Actually Hannah is because she has new school clothes. Nicholas not so much. He doesn't even want to go school supply shopping. That was always my favourite thing.

Poly you are the best!!! I see Celery and Tammy think so too with there post cards.

Twinkie -- Glad you picnic went well. To funny on the family song.

Did Mommy P ever get a new bathing suit?

Moo-- glad your daughter is coming home again. How long does it take to drive back and forth? We loved the drive east and had beautiful scenery but after awhile one tree looks like the next....:rotfl:

I was right I had 10 loads of wash. Wish my dryer was faster or a bigger wash line.

nab - yep, poly definitely outdid herself!
anthony loved his card sooo much!
I heard about that balloon accident in Canda - anywhere near you, nab? I know canada is a huge country, but anytime I hear about it, I think of you!
unless it's somewhere I know is definitely east.
I'm pictureing you above montana.
hehe.
geography is not my strong suit! :rotfl2:

Thanks, sweet friends, for the nice comments on the picture.

DISCLAIMER: Please add bifocals or sunglasses and a ponytail in order to recognize me at Disney. Thank you.

Celery...I googled the balloon accident. How horrible!!! Do they still have the EAR Foundation balloon race at Percy Warner park every year? I flew in one of the balloons in that race one year...the winning balloon I might add. Now the thought of going up in a balloon petrifies me.

NAB....so cool about the postcards! Sweet poly pm'd to see if I needed any but I had to decline as DS would drive us all insane if he knew he were going to Disney World.

Twinks....any pasta salad left? Sounds goog!

Twink, that pasta salad sounds yummo! I love that hot Italian pasta carbonara dish that has the prosciutto, peas and mushrooms in it, so I'm sure I would like your pasta salad. What did you add to make it spicy? Were you trying to make Grasshopper jumpy this afternoon? ;)

Nab, it takes about 13 hours for my DD to drive home. She said she is bringing the grandpuppy!!! :yay: :yay: :yay: So it might take a bit longer during breaks to walk him.

Glad to hear the kids are excited about going to Disney.

Cel, Nab is to the northeast of Michigan. That balloon accident was near Vancouver, British Columbia which is WAY to the west, more like where you're thinking. Vancouver is north of Seattle, Washington.

If you are a boy, look away...

OK, now that it's just us girls, have you ever worn pantihose to church and gotten a BIG run in them. One that you can't "take care of" right away? This run took OVER the pantihose and huge hole at the top causin a niiiiice uncomfortable rash.

I NEVER wear pantihose. Now I remember why! It was a very special day for our family at church today so I had to get more dressed up than my usual denim skirt and button down shirt and sandals. It was a dressy day for the UtahMama Family. Ties and tie tacks and black socks and slips and pantihose were involved for the various members of my household. :cool2: We were stylin'. The ties only made it the first hour :sad2: however. I do notice my kids behave better when they're wearing their shiney black shoes and ironed shirts.

OH! I saved all of you a piece of Ariel cake!!!! Norah turned 3 today!!!! The cake has NO actual Ariel IN it.

Hi Uma, sorry about the pantyhose fiasco! I abandoned dresses years ago!

last time I wore a dress, which was What I thought was lovely,, my mom said, "you really cant wear that anymore" Thanks MOM!That was like 6 years ago.

What was the special occasion?

Happy Bithday to Norah!!!!!!!!!:cheer2:
