Hey all. Crazy story, lex! Not really married! eek! ;)

I've been working today. Just call me Marita.
I hate DVC! and refunds.

I'm here, Marita. And not working for a bit. Maybe. Unless I get really bored.

We picked one and she walked us out to her backyard pool and married us right then and there. My mother's still not sure it was legal but it was 18 years ago so it's certainly common law by now.

So you eloped Lexi? very cool, I can never decide if I wished I did that... probably not as my parents didn't like my dh back then.

However some states do not recognize common law marriages.... just sayin ;) ;) ;)

Hi Poly~ Glad your girls arrived in the world safely. High risk is no fun, except for all the extra ultrasounds.

In fact I need medical advice. I am calling the ob tomorrow. It seems my SIL and her twins have been exposed to fifth disease. I may have to reschedule the 4th of July. Well the 4th will just happen but do I want to go to the family cook out at the farm? but I have to retrieve the oldest DS who is already there. News at 11.

Twinkie, 5th Disease? Sounds scary, never heard of it.

Celery, I took my 3rd nap of the day, sorry!

My marriage coudnt have been more public, US ARMY. They questioned me to no end about why I wanted to go to US of A. I did NOT want to go to USA, I loved Germany just fine, stilll do. My life would have been so different if I stayed. with friends and family.

Anywhoo, water under the bridge. And now DD is moving out............

:faint: :charac2:

 to Marita. Me and tammy will move down there and be your new kiddies!

/
I was just kidding, but if there are free passes involved, we are so there!

As for you Troy Donahue.......I KNOW what you....wanna do....

Lex- you are definately married if in Alabama, Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Montana, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Texas, Utah or the District of Columbia. New Hampshire only recognizes common law marriages for the purposes of inheritance. See if helps to have a lawyer around. Or a housewife who folds laundry to law & order.;) That is basically the same thing, right?

5th disease- named because it is one of the 5 childhood viral rashes. The sickness isn't bad but does bring a high miscarriage risk. I am pretty sure I haven't had it but 50% of adults have had it and most don't know it. It can be very mild. I will call the OB tomorrow. SIL is calling her pediatrician to see if her kids already had it (she thinks they did, then they would be immune). I am of the better safe than sorry school of thought but I dread telling my inlaws they can't have all of their grandkids together on the 4th of July.

I have been feeling lots of movement today:yay:

Hi Twinkie Mooving Mama!

I just discovered a cool new show on A&E. Confessions of a Matchmaker, Which is pretty much just like t siounds, but fun. This guy wants to drag a girl to church! Which is not not the fun part. Anyway, entertaining.

*GOD TO ME, is a lving energy force beyond our imaginations~ but can
be found, if we are pointing/following the right directions...

more to question and explore way beyond our physical needs. again, the
more knowledge i gained..the more iam able to reminisce & appricate
[ ] the miracles that making up my life tymes...:yay:

..as for this...just common sense,- things everyone can "see".. & i
hope are encourage toward all the miracles filling up the mooovers,
here.

Lil' Grumpy - How true! This is great, and very simple... Okay over time when I read your post I begin to understand more and more. I'm learning a new language which is not new at all...Really is it? :thumbsup2

Let me share this simple explanation of GOD and how it’s up to us to seek him out.
A close friend just gave me this: It’s not mine but I thought it was great!
Sorry to those it might offend: But please try to keep an open mind…

Does God exist?

A man went to a barber-shop to have his hair cut and his beard trimmed. As the barber began to work, they began to have a good conversation. They talked about so many things and various subjects.

When they eventually touched on the subject of God, the barber said, "I don't believe that God exists."

"Why do you say that?" asked the customer.

"Well, you just have to go out in the street to realize that God doesn't exist. Tell me, if God exists, would there be so many sick people? Would there be abandoned children? If God existed, there would be neither suffering nor pain. I can't imagine loving a God who would allow all of these things."

The customer thought for a moment, but didn't respond because he didn't want to start an argument.

The barber finished his job and the customer left the shop. Just after he left the barber-shop, he saw a man in the street with long, stringy, dirty hair and an untrimmed beard. He looked dirty and un-kept.

The customer turned back and entered the barber-shop again and he said to the barber, "You know what? Barbers do not exist." "How can you say that?" asked the surprised barber. "I am here, and I am a barber, and I just worked on you!"

"No!" the customer exclaimed. "Barbers don't exist because if they did, there would be no people with dirty long hair and untrimmed beards, like that man outside." "Ah, but barbers DO exist! What happens is, people do not come to me." "Exactly!" affirmed the customer. "That's the point! God, too, DOES exist! What happens, is, people don't go to Him and do not Look for Him. That's why there's so much pain and suffering in the world."

God Tests Us sometimes in very small things...

IMAGINE PEACE, BE BLESSED & BE A BLESSING!

Hi, MOOvers! Sorry I wasn't around today - We've been enjoying time with our daughter and went out to dinner for my FIL's birthday. After that, I did some yard work and was pooped this evening.

Hope you all had a nice weekend.

Double post!!!!

Lil G and Undie - Forgot to say that I loved your philosphizing!!!

LOOK at the time! Can't sleep, again. That's what I git!

Still using pilfered wireless. Which is sloooooow in my case.
I think I am not a very patient person. Plus I get all bent when the "good" computer is down. So lemme know if things get juicey. You know how I like juicey (as long as I'm not directly involved).

Marita- wow! Empty nest? Is she spreading her wings already? They grow up so fast. I want my son to stay home while he goes to school. That'll save $$$ for the future.

Hi Moo!!!!!

GOOD MORNING, MOOVERS!

Fell asleep watching Grease last night. I wondered how Nick @ Nite was gonna get around some of the song lyrics...namely Greased Lightning. My girls loved Grease when they were little but the racy parts went right over their little heads. Anyway, we enjoyed it and sang along with DH laughing all the while.

UD....Love the barber shop logic on God's existence!

MOO....Glad you enjoying DD's visit!

poly.....You there?!?

Or a housewife who folds laundry to law & order.;) That is basically the same thing, right?
RIGHT! BTW I've packed and I'm moving to Florida today. So cool that you're feeling the little critter moving in there! I always loved that!
I just discovered a cool new show on A&E.
Is it drama or reality?
LOOK at the time! Can't sleep, again. That's what I git!
Why can't you sleep? Don't nap today! Whatever you do and no matter how tired you get...don't nap! I'm with you on DD living at home during college. I had to borrow money to live in the dorm because I was so far from home...and I had to pay it back for years and years. I want her to be debt free when she leaves school.

HAVE A GREAT DAY, ONE & ALL!
