Well we forgot today was our anniversary. Jeremiah came into the room early this morning tell us "Happy Anniversary". We both said we wouldn't have remembered if he hadn't reminded us.

How sad is that?

Now we're off to Walmart to celebrate. heh


On the plus side, I looked over this sheet of baby stats they gave me at my u/s at the beginning of the month(I keep forgetting to give it to the midwife) and it said baby was measuring 30 weeks and some days and I was only 29 weeks and 1 day at the u/s. EDD was 8/9. That on top of having dropped some already(not normal for me) and the fact that I'm already looking overdue maybe we'll have an early baby!

Busy day around here. The grocery stores were crazy. You think it was our long weekend instead of yours.

We are at the painting stage down stairs. Going to order the floor tomorrow I hope. Then the BIL will come back for the trim and doors. So close now. Poor hubby has a test on Tuesday too. He just wants this done yesterday.

I got out of the office at 5:30 today, and I actually dont have to work this weekend, except be on standby for questions.

Nab - 10 years. What kind of floors did you decide on?

The same Dura ceramic that I have in my kitchen will go in the two piece washroom and laundry room. It is a nice neutral colour. The colour on the walls will be sundance (a light yellow)

A cherry laminate in the office. The colour in here is monroe bisque.

And a light beige for the main room that matches the upstairs carpet, it may be a shade darker. They don't make the same carpet anymore. We wanted the same name since this one is holding up really well after 12 years but they only make commercial type stuff now. Almost what you put in hotels some of the patterns. The colour we picked for the room is shelburne buff.

I wanted everything to flow.

....awhile back, c~girl went thru....portsmouth...& wasn't too impressed.
[ which makes senses]. and though, i threw some mud too, there's actually
some amazing...places....to visit...if you know where to go. & things to
do.

sometimes...the wonders..of nature....."surprises you". this happened
yesterday..when i came across...a big box turtle......in our back yard.
she hang around..for hours. wonder why?......for the first time in my life,
i...got to witnessed...a mother turtle...laying her "eggs." they were pretty
big....too,. what she did was dig....a hole...& when finished...covered
them with dirt. life, is amazing...when you least expect...it, new stuff
is always popping up. speaking of popping..made me think..of mp.


then i saw on the "collector's board".......someone looking for the old
frontierland guns?...we have one, that belongs to our oldest son.....that
he got...way back in the 80's. it even has all the stickers..& still
works.....but what i remember? ..it didn't take..5 minutes..before he
was bored &...i got to walk all around...wdw...with a "big stick."

I suck at painting. I must have touched the ceiling 3 times before hubby took over the cutting in part. I did the rolling.

We got two rooms painted the office and the washroom. Love the office colour. Hubby said they all look the same....actually he called it puke colour in the office, I beg to differ. I think he will like it when it dries.

I just spent a grueling half hour trying to reactivate my cell phone account (which I hardly EVER use) cause my credit card had expired.

What a beautiful day it is out today. Just got back from church.

Now we are banished to the basement to paint. Actually hubby is. He doesn't want my help today. Which is fine by me , just don't tell him. I didn't think I did that bad of a job. He still had the big room and laundry to do.

Marita-- you need a holiday. Can't image the stress you have been going though lately. You should take your birthday off.

Did you read about that monorail crash at WDW last night? How sad . . .

We're off to the movies this afternoon. Going to see Ice Age. I'm still waiting to hear from my boss to confirm her invite to Lake Michigan for tomorrow - she's at her hubby's family's cottage for the week. If that falls through, I may just go on my own to a State park on Lake Michigan if the weather stays as nice as it is today.

Nabbie - Lucky you! I'm not all that fond of painting either. If I have to paint, I usually just do the cutting in or trim work. I hate rolling.

Hello....

Tomorrow back to the grind for hubby and back with my baby Ava.....she is a cutie..

Friday we got the call from the vets and Megara has Hypothyroidism.....she is on thyroxine ..a pill in the morning and one at night......she goes back for a blood retest in 45 days....

Friday we also went Strawberry picking and it was very sad.....2/3rds of the strawberry crops were rotten .....to much rain......we picked a while and then came home.

Yesterday we had 4th picnic at my bils house......we brought a 7 layer taco dip and chips and all the soda.......we had a good time.......wish my bil would stop putting thyme in the burgers....GROSS......I want regular burgers and then I can do my own thing.......after we ate we "partook" of the homemade ice cream....the one that you can hand crank in the bucket.....delicious with home made chocolate sauce and other toppings.....

today we went to see some old cemeterys that hubbys great grandparents and great great grandparents are at.....its history on these monuments.....I love to read it......we have been to these before to take photos for his geneology cd but we took a brush this time to get some of the green stuff that grows off...unreal how the names jump out......If I had been there in the early years of our marriage.......I may of named one of our kids Parker......I love that name......just nice names.....

Sad, yes that someone died on that monorail .......very sad for them and their families.......

OH Joy. looks like my fridge died!

At first it seemed like just the icemaker (again!), then the freezer, now DH thinks the whole fridge is dead.

It's not that old, less than 5 years I think. I remember *****ing about it here when DH and DD bought a WHITE fridge when all my other appliances are almond. DH said if it will cost severl hundred $ to fix he'll get a new one. I told him that this time I want to shopping with him.

Just got a bag of ice and put it in the handy dandy styrofoam box that my German cheese was shipped in.

I vacuumed this afternoon, and you'd think the dog thought I was going to kill him, LOL

More work emails today, but at least it was nothing I screwed up. I've had my share, which is contributing to my stomach knots.

Have to get a shower and do some laundry. I think then I might take a nap...

As much as I dislike my new job, I am glad not to have to do budgets for a hotel this year, it's a tough year. Lots of people are still working this afternoon and yesterday.
