Marita - Montana??!!! Yikes. But a trip to DL would be awesome!!! Keep us posted. I would recommend flying in and out of John Wayne Airport if you can instead of LAX. It's much more manageable and I think it may be easier to rent a car there too. I think that's what Donald and his friends did. And Vegas isn't all that far away if you want to do a side trip (like 4 or 5 hours). I've heard there are some really sweet hotel deals out there lately.

Speaking of Donald, whatever happened to him? He vanished into thin air!

And BH too. I see RobinIN on FB, but he deserted us too....

I'm way too late for bed!

Night!

yah!...great pictures..mp, esp. the "all~boy" ones. [ i also loked
the previous ones...hanging all over you!

...thanks, for letting me be myself~ gang! i just think life, is made

...for everyone ...to find their ways. not that iam "heavy thinker", but

...it jus seem like common sense....how easy we can make things work.

...oh, i wanta make it clear, my observations, about mr. jackson...

..were meant to be nuteral....& fair....and ..i think....there are lessons
we all can learn. loke child abuse, ....& alot of dangerous/illegal
behaviors....ok? there's a big differnce between what is , real beatings-
physical harm..& the "preceptions"...of child abuse. what iam trying to
get out..., legally..we need to defined....the specific acts of child
abuse...so alot isn't covered up...by generalizations. and then for 'us'
in the medical field, directing our interventions toward..healthy
resoultions,instead...of just "band~aid"...treatments. if we addressed
these social problems with reality & problem solving then we can
close the gaps..and stop missing what should be.....common sense.

[ could be just me, but his father, came across...confused ].

the rich & famous....problems...are just like the rest of us & our society
mistakes. liked ms.spears.., sad, how the press..overplayed..her menatl
health..into things....that ...were just plain wrong.

who can be crazy?..we all can. emotionally, we all are trying to cope
with life & our problems. no person, has an easy life. but we all can do
better by seeking support within, our familes, friends, and communities.
* we need to teach...the behavioral sciences....the basics, so we can
prepare and preserve, family values..that we all need.

i've been blessed, but i have my share..of scars.....mostly because of
my own doings,,& being a slow learner. like disney fan, until my lil'girl,
i saw going to wdw..as a chore.

...i guess, that's my "suggestion"...maybe if we made better efforts to
defined..the important things in life...so many problems would be avoided?
..like child abuse....or marriage. ours, i guess has been pretty sucessful,
thru thick & thin...would be best described..as a "partnership", we've
done everything together. it begins..with our inner circle...where there's
only...."us" ..and no other influences...in deciding our family matters.
my mil....was not a strong supporter, :rolleyes1, but my wife...limited
her influence. wanta kno..what my wife..shared with me? [she loved
the way...i was seeking improvements]. however, i felt that was common
sense?

yes..i developed relationship interventions..because...they "others"
influence..our well being. , one thing..i teach..is the 50% mark...
when a relationship..is hurting you more than it is helping, than it's
time to say..'good!bye". now, it's how each person...make~up that
50% mark..that can have many, many definitions. it can be fun &
a lil'tricky...discovering....what others feel.

as for my wife, she makes me feel happy, alot more than 50%. see?
why i feel..so lucky,

[ the only thing..i really do...is to show others , how they can improve
their choices..to obtain their desires....& accept their mistakes. just like
the ways..i am trying to do, for myself.]

going to wdw! :yay:, here's our schedule, by my lil'miss cutie pie?
[oh, she around.....:rolleyes1], animal k., july 22. yak place 415pm.

thursday....july 23rd, d.~studios, + chef mickey @6:45 pm. finally july,
24th....@ m.k., crystal palace ~6:05pm. then epcot, 7/25,
& garden grill, 5:35pm. 7/26, back to the studios, & 50's primetime...
{hope green acres is on the small tube} , then 7/ 27.....epcot again,
..& chefs of remy, ..& finally, m.k's & tony's. :sad1:

..all of this credit..must go..to my lil'miss,

to me, it's all about grabbing the world..by its mouse ears..& squeezing
the magic...out? hopefully, not causing a commotion..or any embrassing
...moments....for my family,...i'm not! :wizard:

HAPPY CANADA DAY!!!!

(For any of the lurkers that are Canadian)

I would still be in bed if it wasn't for the kids and me promising to take them to downtown for the celebrations. Kids old time games start at 10:00. Hannah has had me up since 7:00. Don't want to be late you know. :lmao: We go to this every year. Everything is free, that is the best part. I love listening to the bands. They are having fiddlers this year that I would love to hear.

thanks for the info, Nab. I'll be sure to tell my Canadian coworker happy canada day! :thumbsup2

twinks - have safe travels. definitely message lex and let her know you're passing through. she was miffed at me for not calling when I was there a few weeks ago.

I too loved Isaac in the sink!

moo - I've been getting shaky a lot too - I'm not eating right. I need to get better!
and actually exercise. :sad2:
If I don't get my butt in gear, you'll be skinnier than me by September! :scared1:
Not allowed!

lil g - sounds like a good plan for doing the world! I've never eaten at garden grill or tony's.
I can't decide if I want to rearrange my schedule to include them this time.

I can't wait to finally try california grill!
even if I will be by myself.
:sad2:

HAPPY CANADA DAY!!

Oh Canada...

Marita taking a vacation!! :woohoo::wizard: (thre is a thread somewhere about Vegas tips and hints - ds went there - it can be confusing)

Lil G I appreciate your comments - and your plans look terrific! I will say about the child abuse - I think MJ was abused by his father. My mom thinks he may have been taken by that father and been... 'altered' so as not to have his voice change... which I think may have altered his mind also - I dont think he thought of sex like others - but what about that "Jesus juice"? That's just not right! Its sad that the kids have to be drug thru all this...

Cel I've read that some solo diners at Cali Grill prefer to eat at the bar where they can watch the chefs do their magic!! DD loves that place! I'm hoping to ditch it - it gets so crowded, and it is a slow meal - but do report back on the flatbreads - they were off menu while the ovens were being worked on - if there arent flatbreads - we can skip it!!

:yay: Our van is getting fixed today!!

DS got a "job" :sad2: I so hope he quits today - its his first day -selling door to door - Kirby vacuum cleaners - its a total scam! Dyson's are cheaper! so are Oreks - :sad2:

Got laundry done, now to start on the vacation plans, food, lists, etc... (DS and dil are having a bbq at their condo - its on a lake so you can sit and grill, but we have to bring all our own food! she invited 20 people! I said we should just bring sandwiches!! Then on to the lake - where I need to bring something there too!! Jello shots maybe?? :rotfl:

pulled in the driveway and the neighbor asked if dd could come with them to the Shedd Aquarium!! :yay: Of course she was asleep, but she got up and dressed in 5 min!! The Shedd had been closed for some renovations, so I'll bet its going to be fun!!

Sandy - I cannot believe the price of a Kirby these days. I got one 5ish years ago and it was the best $800 I ever spent. When we first got married I got a $350 Kenmore which started falling apart the day after my 3 year warrenty was over. I haven't had any major problems with my Kirby, nothing we can't order a cheap part for and do ourselves. It still works as good as the day I got it. I don't think they are a scam at all, just totally overpriced nowadays.

I sold a diaper bag on my other hang out boards. Woot!!!

moo - I've been getting shaky a lot too - I'm not eating right. I need to get better!
and actually exercise. :sad2:
If I don't get my butt in gear, you'll be skinnier than me by September! :scared1:
Not allowed!
There is NO chance of that happening, Cel, since I started a lot higher than you! But I do hope to have lost at least 100 lbs by then. Sorry I couldn't convince my sister and her friend to do California Grill. It didn't make much sense to go there really early and we'll probably want to stay late for the Halloween Party. I'll just have to put it on my list for next time.

I just got notified of a change in my flight schedule today. It gets into Orlando 10 minutes earlier and leaves an hour later (8:30), so more Disney time. w00t!

Lil G - That looks like an awesome schedule and lots of good eats!!!

Nabbie - Happy Canada Day! Hope you get to see the fiddlers.

MommyP - My BFF has a Kirby and she swears by it, but she also has a Dyson for her basement. Congrats on selling one of your diaper bags! :)

Sandy - We had someone come and demonstrate a Kirby a few years ago, but I didn't like their tactics. They sucked my hubby in by saying they'd clean our living room carpeting and furniture for free, but when they got here and I saw that it was just a Kirby demo, I said nope to the cleaning offer. Especially because the cleaning solution wasn't unscented and my furniture was brand new at the time.

Marita - Hope you had a better day at work today!

hello everyone

RAIN RAIN GO AWAY........this is ANOTHER rainy day.......I think 21 in the last month of June .......can you believe that......hubby went out today and mowed the lawn even though it was soaking wet and TALL.....it had to be done before we had to borrow some country critters to eat the grass......

Megara is feeling better and hope that the vets call tomorrow and tell us about her Thyroid test they sent out of state.......we are anxious to hear...She finally had a successful launching after not going since last Thursdays explosion of you know what.......glad that is over with...cost us a bundle AGAIN but she is worth it.......we love her alot..

Hubby and I are on vacation this week and because of the rain we havent done a heck of a lot......I get dressed maybe at noon or so.......and then back in them after we eat supper or go to the stores.......fun .....ROFL.

tomorrow we will go and pick strawberries even if it is wet and rainy out.....we need to replenish our freezer with new ones.........I love to eat them in the fields and get a good fill of them.......YUMMY

hope those who are on vacation have a great time and those who are sick I hope you all feel better and those who are busy and working.....take care....

Almost done the last book of Twilight series......this one is not as exciting as the first three......but still not bad........

Helllloooooo!!!!!!!!!!! I did some reading back. No, really!

Moo...woohoo on all your weight loss!!! You must be feeling so good! :cool1:

Marita...when we were at Studios on Monday, we thought of you. We looked for you behind bushes and dumpsters, but you must have chosen a different location that day. :confused3 Also, I never thought I'd see the day where you said you want to work at a DVC location!! Color me confused!!

MP...hope you're feeling better. That sounds awful.

Nab...Happy Canada Day!!! How was it?

Twinkessori...have a most excellent vacation!!! Check in when you can.

L...you must be the "cool" mom since all the kids want to come to your house. Wassup with that???

Those crazynurses have been running me hither tither and yon!!!! Yesterday it poured all day. We kept thinking since it's Florida it would eventually pass, but apparently The Mouse had other plans. Of course, that was also the day we chose to wear matching jean skirts. Denim dries out so quickly. We did however ride both Pirates and Splash Mountain 3 times each. Can't stop us!

I think our shush count is up to about 15. Our dirty look count is probably up to about 29403. Apparently incessant talking and laughter is not allowed at WDW. Crowds haven't been bad with getting there early and using fastpass. This morning was napkin twirling. Somehow Chef Mickey's is a lot better when you're actually allowed to eat the food and partake in the joy.

Peej - Nevermind the inquiry in my PM about how the BBNs are doing - I should have read here first! Thanks for the update. I will be napkin twirling during a Chef Mickey's lunch because I didn't book dinner early enough and all the free dining people beat me to the punch :guilty: Oh, well.

Pumba! Sorry Megara's been under the weather for so long  We're having crummy weather here too. I just drove home from swim class in the rain. It's only 55 degrees. Brrrrr.

Twink - Sending safe and fun travel wishes :sunny:

Robert Irvine is in DISNEY!! :woohoo:

DS decided not to do the kirby (and ds said the price was over $1200 :scared1:)

I forgot to mention that I finally found a crib! On Craigslist even. I decided I wouldn't even look at anything unless it was for sale in my own town. Which took forever...but it worked out. It's the EXACT same crib that Isaac has and was only 25. I just ordered the changing table I wanted from Walmart.com and the baskets for it. Plus come crib sheets and a changing table pad. Yay! I can't wait! I hope it all doesn't come in on different days. lol. We will have to make lots of trips to walmart if it does.

Hi all, quick check in.

I read everything but had to work, and now it's too late, I need to get to bed.

Didn't get home till 9pm today, and then worked more when I got home (although I didn't technically have to, but I wanted to get a head start on tomorrow).

I'm a menance to society and myself driving in the dark

I had 4 peanut butter cups at 7:30, so when I got home I wasnt hungry. Now I'm hungry, but too lazy to make something this late.

PJ, you know when I say I would even take a DVC resort, that means I really hate this new job

Wish our holiday landed on a weekend like yours.

We had beautiful weather started out looking like rain but the sun came out.:cool1:

Moo-- I did see my fiddlers. They were great!

Nicholas stayed with the balloon guy. He was good. He would give hints of what he was making and if you guessed you got it. He made a huge Star fighter plane from Star Wars, I almost got that one. He made Tinker Bell too. Nicholas ended up with a huge Canada Hat and Hannah a small bunny.

Fireworks going off all over the place. Even when we got home, didn't have to go anywhere but sit on our front porch.

Mommy P-- Yay on finding a crib. Your going to need it real soon.

Twinkie-- Safe travels! Hope you have great weather.

Marita--

Thanks, Nab, I can use it!

I got almost to the end of a row on my "I don't know what I am making for" Afghan, and the thread got hopelessly tangled. :headache: Now I am trying to perform brain-surgery like operation around the main thread so I dont have to switch to a new skein till the end of the row. Fun times!!!

Gotta work tomorrow.

Hope everyone has a great 4th!

ETA: I killed the patient! 9 stiches away from the end, I severed the main artery :sad2:

PS: My super expensive due to shipping German cheese arrived today. w00t! They even included 2 little packs of gummi bears. I wish today were Friday..........

Nabbie - I'm glad you got to hear the fiddlers! Did you take a pic of the kids with their balloons?!

Sandy - I watched that Robert Irvine in Disney show very late last night too! I was SO tired today at work today, but I'm off tomorrow so I can catch up on my sleep!!! Four day weekend (but Monday is another @*!#@ unpaid furlough day).

Marita - Sorry you're stuck working tomorrow :grouphug:

Moo' I'll get another day off for it. Bahumbag on your unpaid furlough day!!

Besides, hubby is off tomorrow, so I might as well go to work

:yay:..nabby, belated canada day~:thumbsup2

oops, sorry for all the grammar mistakes...when it's late..& i'm tired,

....

however, the "point"..was ..to recognize the standards [ common sense] &

..how individuals...can be effected....based on their own "feelings". jus
saying, what may be abusive to one, isn't to another....but there are
certain behaviors, resulting in physical harm.....that should never
be over looked.

fyi, without doubt, mj, suffered from child abuse...but he was also
alot more sensitive than "others", .....& so...it was possible for his
parents..not to have recognized...the damages....especially the verbal
...stuff.

then there's color....kids are white, black, or whatever...what i seen
in reality..."race"...is only a factor..when someone makes it into one.

just saying, it 's never a consideration...when i doing my work. because?
...it has no measurable effects..on outcomes.

[ i wish, the press backoff, & remember..that his kids....he was their
only father....they had. you think..they would care that they are
harming the children, slammin their father.]

* when i was in high school..i read this cool book about being black,
growing up in rural american. it was called "the learning tree". what
i learn......how little race should be factor in, judging others...and
....some really great insights. & of course, you 've heard me harper
about..boys in the hood! { esp. society failures.} again, when one
takes..the time, to understand...what was going on, in the "hood"....,
then maybe, we can "addressed"/prevent.....gangs , killing, &
promote..some of our greatest..resources...."our youth".

now..the video...of mj..2 days prior...? not a very sick looking, huh?

:rolleyes1..what can kill a 50~y/o man?

:sad2:...what does that....tell us? there really no need to "learn'
the lesson....as we already....knew from others. but why are some
giving in.....this should have never happened. fyi, every day, @ work..
we [nurses} are verbal abused...by drug seekers. we know our duty.

..as for his kids..they are "jacksons"..they should go to his family.
to me, any mother...giving up your kids, for any reason, that's too
much...for me to understand. & you can't go back. children...knows
who love them.

death?...jus my opinion, death..stops..the person you might have become,
& 99% by designed..other than, by the actions from mankind. most of
the time...those are, the actions.....we are trying to redirect & do better
at.

death, in all its scary stuff...,also has another implication,
and therefore, maturity & apprication leads to....
recognizing all having life, as one of most important feeling.

debbie r.? just after $.

..fyi..my favorite jackson's record..was "sky writer". never met any of
them..or any concerts. however, remember..my younger brother?
[ derrick]....during college, he worked the concerts...& did the escorting.
.....oh, he had the "goofy" look down...pat, :lmao:

Nab a goog time! (and lol we do enjoy it when the 4th lands on a weekend! These late nights are killers for us old folks! :rotfl:)

Twinks et el! SAFE travels!!

(whats Mony up to?)

Marita I know its a goog thing, having a job, but I just get upset when so many workers today have to work overtime, I cant fix it! I just wish more people had jobs and everyone worked the 9 - 5 shift... and life was a bowl of cherries!!

You got gummy bears?!! A food network show "Chopped" had to use gummy bears in a dessert - they melted them!! lol How special is your cheese? goat? sheep? cow? pastureized? YUM cheese!

Moo a furlough day - UGGH! Keep your head in the game - keep on keeping on with your exercise, and nutrition! Its not easy - but you are doing it! YOU ARE doing it!! :woohoo: :dance3::dance3:

:yay: DS went to work today! A "real" job! :rotfl2: He's working at a park district - the landscape department! 7am! till 3 (no overtime, not salaried!)

Tonight I sleep in a tent! Hope it doesnt rain! (there is a big storm predicted! I dont think it will head too north tho Moo!) DH decided to take Mon and Tues off to see his mom!

So first I have to pack for a picnic at my son's (bring a dish to pass - wild rice blueberry salad! bring food, and drink - pack dont forget stuff!) Then I have to go visit my mom and my brother I havent seen in over ten years.. (what to pack? what to wear? need to bring liquor! beer at least! probably tequila!) NOW I have to also pack for my mil! and I'm supposed to bring food to make! (and those clothes again! pants, shorts? sheesh :sad2: I'm not up to the challenge!)
