first things..first....it's sweltering out, but the pool feezing,

what's up with that? [ hope it isn't the first sign of becoming a

grumpy..old man? ]

...:flower3:, thanks for the warning backie...., well c~girl, that
made sense..because...it's been so long.....i almost forgot what it
was about. however, this has taught me...why there are so many
dangerous...people running around..our legal system ....lacks alot
"merits" & common sense...leaving the rest of us...to defend for
ourselves. or be dead.

* think about it.....he see the game warden, off duty,....but still
a state offical....& had to "lectured" him..how no good he is?

..now wonder, how much? self control..he has toward me and my
buddy? not much, huh?

..health care.....it's alarming.....how we are no longer progressing toward
health....care. it's messing up the baiscs, self -care needs.....enough...to
make me...crazy..with disappointments. "taking care"....isn't complicated,
and some times..just offering real comfort...simply, being there, & supporting
the family. then taking care..of our "environments"...sooner or later,
comes around..& bites...us where we live. wasting our natural materials,
and processing wastes.....provides our future generations....to "grow
old" on.

..*and if anyone..been listening, :rolleyes1....got life?=,makes one important.

..needless to say, these reality shows....feeds negative attention seeking
where the real person is lost, and resorts ..to ugly behaviors.

..i might..be breaking 50, but..life is still a wonderment. my goal..is to live
a very ...mundane...quiet, peaceful life...but "someone"..against me..
therefore, not my" lots". it just seem like, "trouble`makers" finds me.
like..how many people runs you over, & tell you "watch where you're going",
..while walking backwards,
still, no matter what....positive & negative actions can be
defined by the results..of one choices... & thus each day....means one can
improve on. i like those odds..for self improvements..because i'm no saint,
and by my nature....needing extra room for errors. ps, if you can recognize
the differences..between negative & positive outcomes....you're are smarter
than the avg. bear, by my observations.

ever seen anne of green gables...yes, let's just say...i understand..how
she got into so much trouble....with so many good intentions...?
like the time..chasing the cow?

fyi..,i always..thought..kung~fu....man...was going to live forever.:hippie:

...i sorta..like backie...thinking, mid-day cakes & spirits, :thumbsup2,
makes up for daily frustrations? popcorn::

Morning, just waiting for things to settle down over here, boys last day of school, Zack graduates elementary school and becomes a middle schooler and in one more year we will have a high schooler.

Today Maddie has her surgery, she is scheduled at 8:15am.

Mal is excited for Kindergarten and cried that it didn't start the very next day.

Thinking of you all.

Goog Morning!

Only 10 weeks to go! I can't believe I'm 30 weeks pregnant, honestly even though I am SO ready to not be pregnant anymore I am not ready for the baby to come. It has never really felt real to me, like I can't wrap my brain around the fact that I'm having a baby in 10ish weeks. I think it's because Isaac is still so much like a baby to me. Still my baby.

I still don't have a crib. :o( But at least I have all the diapers needed and soon I'll have Chad get all the neutral baby things out of the attic. I actually packed them up seperately this time. :o)

Sunday I rescued one of our kittens from the woods. I heard him meowing in panic and followed the sound. He was only one lot away but the undergrowth has grown up so much he was lost. Poor guy. He'd been out there for a day.

Prayers for Maddie - :grouphug: Mony!

Moo[/B :woohoo: You are really working - its not easy! :cheer2:

Nab throwing some :wizard::wizard: for you and your son!

MP may the time go by fast and painless! :goodvibes

Marita I need to get my knit on - esp for the car drive! Thanks for posting - its giving me a gentle reminder to get started! :wizard: for you and your hotel situation! Dont like mindless stuff either!

Lil G I hate the whole health care - the elephant in the room. Today on GMA a guy was saying we owe 54 trillion dollars in health care? :scared1: On Today they were (or it could've been the Early Show or GMA!) showing the price of Cancer - it was TODAY - the doctor saying we have to check our policies - HELLO? easy to say if you had a choice! we have a $5,000 deductable - for our son's medical - we have nothing. Economy is still down, we're still losing work, which means no and low paychecks.

sorry

Sandy: While sitting in the waiting room I saw that on GMA and I was so thankful that Tim had decent coverage. Yes, we do pay a lot out of pocket, it's kinda spread out, but I am still thankful there weren't any loops we didn't know about during his ordeal last year. Still makes you wanna go back and check your policy to make sure you thought of everything.

Maddy's proceedure went well. She was done and we were called back by 8am. She has been running around like nothing happened she went with Tim and I to Zach's graduation ceremony. He got so many awards, I was just one very proud mamma today.:jumping1:

Mommyp: Taking ONLY the neutral stuff out of the attic you say?Hmmmmmm....?

Adam Lambert is gay. I, for one, am shocked.

Caleb saw the article on our yahoo home page. He said "Mom, look. Julia will be so disappointed"

So when I went to pick her up I told her "Adam Lambert came out of the closet"

Red goes "What closet?"

I said "the gay closet"

He said "where's the gay closet??"

Caleb said "San Francisco" Hee hee.

Where'd he get that sense of humor?:confused3

BabyN - Yes I know about that procedure. It looks more painful than childbirth.:scared1:

Mony - I told you people we DO NOT know what the baby is. If I knew I would tell you all. I did with Isaac, but we didn't find out with this one, just like with our first 4. We like being surprised. Don't worry though, if I deliver at the birth center I'll be home 7ish hours after the birth and will post the big news along with pictures. :)

Mommy P -- I don't blame you for not finding out. I didn't for Nicholas but did for Hannah. I really changes the experience I think. Still thinking pink for you though.

Mony-- glad Maddy is doing good. Kids bounce back so fast.

Babynurse-- what a news flash...:rotfl2: To bad he would have broke a lot of girls hearts I am sure.

Got Nicholas's results back today. The knee is ok, nothing torn or broken but he had a cyst that broke. That caused the pain and the swelling. He know has fluid on and around his knee. We are hoping it will dry up on it's own if he takes it easy for a few more weeks. If it doesn't he is still scheduled to see the surgeon anyway just in case. Thanks for all the well wishes for him.

My BIL was here today primed some walls but now you can see where he has to fix some of the taped areas. So it is not ready to paint yet. He also told us he has something to do for the next few days so he won't be coming until Saturday now. At least he told me this time. I do know he has other projects he was doing before he came here. Material came in for them so he needs to finish that.

Which means I am free to do what ever on my schedule for the next few days. Which includes the last Mass for the school tomorrow. It is for the volunteers, which I am one.

Mommy P -- I don't blame you for not finding out. I didn't for Nicholas but did for Hannah. I really changes the experience I think. Still thinking pink for you though.

Same with me. I remember buying a pink bath towel for DD. Funny though, I can't remember buying anything else.
Thinking PINK too

Yay to Maddie and Nicholas for doing well (under the circumstances)

The guys took over the TV to watch the hockey game. I told Nicholas this will probably be the last one. The Red Wings will win. He is cheering for the Penguins though.

Marita-- What is a dryer cover? And why do you need one. Mine are covered with plastic right now to keep the dust off them.

Mommy P -- do you have any names picked yet?

Marita-- What is a dryer cover? And why do you need one. Mine are covered with plastic right now to keep the dust off them.

That's what I should have done. The detergent and softerner sitting on the dryer rusted out some parts of the dryer top. So I'm crocheting something to put on topf it, only cause I had no other ideas what to make at the time to crochet something... Now I have my afghan project (for what I don't know) but I havent gotten past chrocheting a few chains

Getting ready to bake a banana nut bread. Got ingredients and utensils set out, just got to mix and bake

ETA: Great, now I can't find my pin cushion to measure of the chains for the afghan. Back to rust cover it is.......
PLUS, I didnt hit something right on the timer for the banana nut bread, so now I'm guessing how much time is left. I set it for 20 mins. but I need to check it a few times before it burns. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

Quick check in . . .

Mony - I'm glad Maddy and Zach did so well today! :goodvibes

Nabbie - Sounds like you're happy to be able to do your own thing for a few days :thumbsup2 I know it's hard to live with the house being torn up for so long though. Hope Nicholas's knee mends quickly

MommyP - Hoping the next couple months fly by for you :)

Sandy - Sorry about the insurance issues. My friend who had the small stroke has pretty decent insurance, but she has run into some charges for testing/diagnosis that aren't covered. I'm going to try to help her submit them with an explanation to try to get a partial reimbursement.

Marita - My dryer has some rust on top too :headache: Goog luck with your projects! Banana nut bread sounds yummy. I went and bought another batch of turkey and beef jerky tonight. There's a meat market about a half hour away from my house that makes THE best jerky around. If I have protein things I like to eat, it helps keep me away from the carbs.

I had to do a little clothes shopping tonight to find something to wear to a public meeting next week. I don't really have much in the way of smaller clothes for work. My spring/fall short-sleeved sweaters have gotten too baggy! I'm trying to get by with just a few things.

bbn! WOOT on your upcoming Disney trip!!! I guess I haven't been too observant of tickers lately. Are you staying on-site? Your kids are ha-larious!!!!! :rotfl:

I see on FB that Twink is in the throes of VBS this week. Hope she can come back and play soon!

Orlando Magic up by 4 in last 28.7 seconds (bites nails, figuratively)

WE WON!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2:1 for Lakers, but we won tonight.

My dryer is covered in a layer of dirt from my nasty kids. ;o) I'm constantly wiping it down.

We only have a girls name. Ellie Claire, same as always. Chad doesn't like any of the boys names I've chosen and doesn't come up with any usable alternatives.

Marita - If you need a crocheting project Isaac could use his too large for a baby blanket now.

I hope my new curriculum comes today. I was watching the Duggar show last week and they mentioned that 3rd grade and up did SOS on the computers. I knew the SOS brand(Switched On Schoolhouse) and the publisher who makes it also makes the Life-Pacs I like to use for my independent worker, so I knew it would probably be good. But figured it would be WAY too expensive since it's a computer program. In past days any video or computer homeschool curriculum was just slightly less than paying for private school. But I decided to check it out anyway, it's only 65-75 per subject! Woot! Cheaper than any curriculum I've ever gotten before. I am SO excited. Now I am super motivated to get Seth reading really well and working independently so I only have more time to devote to Ethan(since he's officially starting now). It grades all their work and everything! Yay!

Mommy P-- that is a pretty name. It reminded me of the Ellie Mae from Beverly Hill Billies. I like old names.

I was at the school most of the day. We had our last Mass and they had a Tea for the school volunteers. I was there another 3 hours socializing. It was fun. They were trying to talk me into being on school council next year.

My sister is going to be one town over from me tonight for a work meeting the next day so I am going to meet up with. Hannah thinks this is pretty cool. Since no one ever makes it this way, they think we leave to far away. Two hours is not that far. Well I guess it depends on traffic too, it is a major highway with lots of traffic and accidents.

Nicholas is making me dinner tonight....Kraft dinner. He wanted to learn how to make it a few weeks ago now that all he wants for dinner now. Says it is his specialty. Who am I do stop him.

Boy, quiet day in the neighborhood!

MommyP, I threw away my attempt at the blanket for Isaac, it was ruined. Sorry :confused3

Just went to the store to get some pins for my new project, which will probable not go anywhere either, but I couldnt find any. There went 20 minutes of my life I wont get back. I know they used to have the it. I think stores are cutting inventories, like Walmart around me doesn't have yarns and fabric anymore. If I have to drive 6 miles one way to get frigging pins, I;m going to be T'd off:headache: But I did have the idea of marking every 10th chain with a piece of yarn, if I have to and am in the mood, or else I can always work on my dryer project.

Hope that online stuff works out for you., sounds great!

Nab, have fun with your sister. Yay for Nicholas making dinner. DH made beef stroganoff today. I had some banana nut bread this morning and a late lunch at 3pm, so I am taking it to work for lunch tomorrow.

Everyone  And please check in.

Marita - The only thing 6 miles from me is a quick mart, gas station and a Sweet Bay. Even Walmart is farther than that. All the craft stores are at least 45 minutes away. If there was a Joann Fabrics in my town I'd be all over that.

My Midwife said that the u/s showed a low lying placenta and they weren't worrying about it. Also they won't be concerned about the breechness until 36 weeks.

We were going to go to church, but in the middle of my dinner I spilled my whole cup of water on myself and it even splashed to the floor under my seat. So I'm sure everyone in that place thought my water had broke when I walked out of there. lol So we had to come home because I was soaked. Good thing, I'm SOOOOOOOOOOOO tired tonight.

Lynette - Did you need to install an updated version of Flash Player in order to play your turn on FB? It's installing slow as mud for me. Grrr! :(

That's all I've got tonight. I'm SO frustrated!

still FB clueless! and I cant upgrade till my computer geek boyfriend gets involved!

MP _ hugs and GL to you (hope you read about increasing your chances of getting a girl!! :goodvibes )

Nab - I know how rewarding volunteering can be - and its so needed!! good luck!

Marita - :scared1:YOU threw away a project that gone astray??? Seriously, I started a baby blanket 2 or 3 years ago - but dangit I used circular needles (what is that anyway!) and dd wanted to "try" - now somehow she managed to knit the end to the start for about 20 rows!! :scared1::scared1:

Mony - so glad its behind you now!! May you NEVER have to use insurance!!

Moo - you are one true friend! Thanks for being you! :goodvibes

 MOO'Vers - dont be strangers!!

any volunteers to email me next week or text me? I'm so looking forward to be "in the Spirit of the Lord" - but its a first ... this techno world you can email participants ( just any few words of praise, or encouragement!! so appreciated!) and we are asked to leave our cell phones for "emergencies" only - but we can receive texts!!

Scary day today. My dental procedures arent 'behaving" and DS insisted he could ride his bike into the "city: ie Chicago - so scary for this mom. He needs a job. I so dont understand what is happening to us - I feel jinxed. its not so... we just live in a human world. DS is restless, but we gave him options for applying so he didnt rush off to downtown Chicago (can you say flat tires, broken tire rims - stealing bikes?)

<looks around tip toeing quietly>

HELLO? <hello hello hello>

I must've jinxed this place...
