Another late night check in. Ugh! I was shopping tonight to try to find something new to wear to my sister's birthday party tomorrow night. Of course, I'll need to also wear it to work . . .

Does anybody have any good 40th birthday gag gift suggestions???

Thanks for the weight loss congrats! I'm feeling better each day :) So is hubby. I'll try to get a photo that I can post in the next few days. I am really hoping to have 100 pounds off before our WDW trip.

Marita - For me, the trip is definitely on. I have a non-refundable flight :goodvibes My sister's friend really wants to go to Chef Mickey's at some point, but I'm not sure what night yet. Maybe it would work to go before MNSSHP if we do a fairly early dinner. I don't want to do too many buffets because I can't eat much - still not sure if we're going to pay for the dining plan.

Peej - Congrats on getting through your first school year! It's cool to finally get to see your little thu . . . errrr, darlings! Yay for getting your CM job back! ::MickeyMo Loved seeing the graduashun pics :3dglasses

Sandy! I don't remember which hotel we talked about. I think I mentioned Zehnder's Splash Village at Frankenmuth. Hope you get that figured out!!!

MommyP - Goog to see you back! Hope that baby gets turned around the right way before too long.

Lynette - Busy, busy, busy! w00t for the impending end of the school year :cool1: With your own pool, no wonder the kids like to stay close to home :thumbsup2

Pumba - Hope you have a headache free day tomorrow

Nabbie - I haven't hung any clothes out for years after the birds made it necessary to re-wash them :headache:

And what's going to become of Paco......will he be joining you in Orlando, or will he be summering at the Crazynurse Ranch? :rolleyes1

Always room for one more. :rolleyes1;):rotfl2::upsidedow:rolleyes:

Poor Paco....you really should be more understanding of his behavioral issues. I mean really, can it be easy for the poor lil guy to live with YOU? Traipsing hither and yon all the time, leaving poor Paco (or Oliver, or whatever you choose to call him on any given day) to his own devices. For shame!

MTE! I mean she cant even decide on a freakin' name!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Poor thing.

Hi everybody! I read back (a whole whopping one page. Summertime keeps us busy, eh?) I am still teaching my childbirth class. My class this session isn't very fun though. I just wanna tell 'em: Depp breaths, Push, Waa! Have a magical freakin' life and send them on their way. (that was just for you Peej) I need liveliness in my class! Whats wrong with these sticks in the mud???

Love to all the Moovers. Even the wayward ones. What ever happened to poly? Did she get too famous?

Anyhooters, I did go swimsuit shopping and I got a two piece! With Julia Robert's encouragment. However, the bottoms are kinda like boy shorts so they cover a little bit more of my "mamaness". ha. The top is a bikini top though. Does that count for anything? :confused3 I'll be sure and post pictures, Moo.

My little guys are taking summer enrichment classes at the school. Gigantor is in "the magic of theater" and Red is in "the wonders of flight". BUT, today we are going on a field trip to see the movie "UP"! I'm excited about seeing that one. I gots to run. TTYL! Have a good one.

Nab - I love the smell of line dried clothes. I don't even care if my towels are stiff. I don't use fabric softener on our things anyway, I think if they get too soft they kind of repel the water. I hate that. lol. I can't line dry things anymore though. It's toooooooooo hot and the weather has become too tempermental. Not to mention our house is built up pretty steeply and walking down to the line is kind of steep and not easy for me while carrying a basket of wet things. ;o)

Lynette - We just got 3 profile pictures. He said they aren't allowed to give the parents any of the other pictures. If I have any other u/s with my regular Dr. I will ask him for any cute shots. But his equipment wasn't quite as nice and clear as the machine at the radiology place. ;o)

Celery-- Lucky you. Seems like yesterday we were all there in Sept. Mommy P was pregnant them too....

I know I should ask my BIL when he will be done but I know it will be awhile yet, just happy to be making progress. I have to start deciding on the colour of the walls soon. That could take awhile.....this is the hard part for me.

It was so nice yesterday and today it is cool again. What is with this weather!

Babynurse-- you will have to tell us how you like UP. The kids really want to see it. Maybe Sunday.

Hallelujah! That crazy part of my life is over.

Just got back from Staples. They printed 350 copies of the flyer, we will just tri-fold them and sticker them shut.

I entered all the alumni (411) it grew, some people from other classes like to attend our reunions.

Then the stupid program wouldn't let me print labels so I had to import to another program that was compatible with this program, nightmarish I tell you. I almost lost it.

Printed all the address and return lables, got the stamps, and all thats left is meeting up with the girls tonight to assemble everything.

Ok, I'm back.

I just want to add, it makes me crazy that people don't answer emails. That's all I'm saying about that.

Carry on!

Now you are?

Wheat Thins

Hello WT. Did you catch the Will Farrell episode of Man vs. Wild? I laughed out loud. Loudly. I even have a cameo. And new respect for Mr. Farrell.

Congrats on happy ultrasounds, graduations, school being out, boy scout promotions, trip bookings, hair dye, basement remodeling, weight loss, and reunion planning.

Moo and Cel, Yay on the trips being firmed up!!

Mony, woohoo about finishing your huge project finally!

BBN, looking forward to the swimsuit picture

PJ, safe travels!!

Sandy, are you going to that place? Looks like fun.

WT, you are a lurker!!!!!

Everyone

I'm working  Nothing I HAVE to do today, but it's like a puzzle, so I'm working on it for relaxation. There is nothing on the TV again!! Well, there is "the incredible story of tapdancing", but I think I'll pass.... I think I'll try Ophra. I need a LIFE!

DS called today, he passed his test with a 97.5 and he was a bit worried about that one, lots of acronyms. He heard a rumor that today they would tell them what bases are available to sign up for, but not so far. He said he told everyone he could he wants to go to Patrick AFB, which is like an hour away from here, but so far he hasn't had any luck with getting his wishes, so I dont have high hopes. Next week he starts learning about missiles and for a part of that, they can only study in the classroom, because it's classified as SECRET stuff :cool2:

Mony again - :worship: on doing a family reunion! and thank you - you were the one that talked about a waterpark - at the Holiday Inn (the search function actually worked!!)

Moo:woohoo: just felt like saying it!! Glad you and Celery are getting things firmed up - make sure you get Marita out of her "work mode" :scared1: (lol)

Marita - do you watch TLC? Say Yes to the Dress is funny to me - on Discovery its a rerun, but I like MythBusters... Saturday is way more boring TV than Friday night! (I also like GhostWhisperer and Numbers)

I am trying to figure out what to pack to go to a Jr Hi for a week to sleep!! (The Mission Trip has 500 people coming to Tecumseh MI)

It's never too late for a glass of wine!

Sandy, you are sleeping at a Jr. High? DId I miss something? Like in sleeping bags or something? I would go with pajamas...

Marita the trip is to help poor and ederly with landscaping, yardwork, etc - I joined when our church posted about it - because I hope to help dd see a larger world, outside of her "self"

Now the details are a bit :scared1: apparantly about 500 people will be descending on this small town of Tecumseh MI - and a jr hi is "housing" all of us! The gym will be where the 'congregation' occurs - young people jumping, screaming, singing...

we have to get up at 6:30 am - and we will be assigned to sleep in classrooms :scared1: I have an aerobed type air mattress - and I'm bringing an extension cord and a fan! I'll probably sleep in sweats, not PJ's!!

Maybe I'll post the email - we can receive emails - but not respond. We're asked not to use cell phones, except for emergencies!

I'll be gone from June 14 - 21 - its about a 6 hour drive - and we have to be there at noon! :scared1:

WOW, Sandy, sounds like quite an adventure. Not one I think would be up my ally,LOL. I like my creature comforts of home, humble as it is.

Have a safe trip and lots of fun, we expect a mini-trip report.

I'm off to bed, have a great weekend all!

NAB: UP was really, really good. A definite must see!!

Celery:
My kids were showing me silly you tubes and I thought of you when I saw this one BECAUSE of your numb lips. (the gal said her lips hurt and then i thought of your numb lip issues. hee)

It's an odd sort of you-tube. cant quite look away.

Lynt:
This will get Hannah Montana off the brain and maybe change Natasha's mind about the JoBros.

Have a good weekend y'all!

Celery has numb lips? How did I miss this? :confused3

WARNING, Nerd alert, feel free to skip.

I'm working on my concatenation project that will save hours during forecast week at night!!! Instead of manually looking up and typing increased, decrease for XX to xx, the formulas do it all for you. I am all about automating things whereever possible. Here is a sample for your viewing pleasure. You have to write formulas to generate increase/decrease, up. down, whatever and round metrics and make absolute them or else you get "increased by $1.97447231. For some reason this is fun for me, LOL.
(I told you I need a life!)

=CONCATENATE("Food and Beverage - Annual change driven by a check average"&K14&" of $"&L14&" (from $"&N14&" plan to $"&O14&" forecast) and by a capture "&K15&" of "&M15&"ppts"&" (from annual plan of "&N15&" to "&O15&" forecast)")

End of Nerd Alert

I need to go the the Walmart sometime this weekend, my watch battery gave up the ghost. And I really need to get my nails done today. (shudder to both). But it's supposed to rain this afternoon, already looking like it (really geting dark), so chances are slim
I will actually do either today.

Hope you all have a great weekend!

GEEK squad will be here between one and three..no tv for the last week and a half..I MISS IT....NOW I AM NOT ANXIOUS mind ya.......YES I AM.......I dont watch alot of tv but I like to have the noise level on ......I do watch this CSI stuff....all three of the locations....just found them this past November when our granddaughter was here and she NEEDED to see it....so I am hooked....
I have read three books in the last two months and I have done two in the last week and a half.....I love Lincoln Child and Douglas Preston books....they co author some and then some they do on their own......I love it...

Hubby and I are still looking for you know what.......the moose lottery will be held on the 15th of June.....so then we will know whether or not we need to RUSH this looking process for a camp or semi/camp/house.......I love hunting but a bull moose is a scarey thing to shoot at and wonder if that thing will decide to SHOOT ME too......and rush me with his antlers......I have my last antlers right here in the front room with hubbies big antlers that he got a few years before mine......and also we have a half dozen or so antlers from our deer that we have gotten........I love venison meat and my husband likes the moose meat.....we are carnivores.......we also share our meat with family and friends.......that is the only way to get rid of 3 or 400 lbs of meat........the state of Maine has a place where you can donate your catch to shelters and soup kitchens.......so meat does not go to waste....

Hope there are no vegetarians here that I have offended.......My sil is a vegan and he is good about this too......

I bought a new pocketbook from Vera Bradley .....on line at their site and it was on SALE......also got a cell phone cover to match......total was 21 dollars. then tax and shipping....so I got a good deal......
See ya later gators

Happy Saturday to ALL!

Apparently, this is my weekend for lots of parties. I got together with some friends from school last night after work, then went to my sister's surprise 40th birthday party. I wasn't there for the surprise part, but they really pulled off surprising her! This afternoon, I'm going to a surprise 70th birthday party for a coworker, then my sister's family birthday dinner is tomorrow.

bbn - w00t on finding your swimsuit! :woohoo: I'm waiting for my new one to be delivered. Hope it fits. The chlorine in the pool shreds swimsuits so fast, even if you wash them after each use :headache:

Sandy - Yay for figuring out your indoor water park place!

Pumba - That is some goog Vera Bradley shopping :) Goog luck with your camp hunting.

Mony - Glad you got your mailout finished. I have worked on my reunion committee and know how hard it is to try to find up-to-date mailing addresses.

Marita - I bow down to you on your spreadsheet know how!!!!! :worship:

Cel - Yippee for booking your trip! I'll check with my sister to try to figure out where she and her BFF want to have dinner on MNSSHP night so we can make ressies when the reservation window opens.

WAAA, I need a life, I never go anywhere! Have fun!

On the bright side, talked to my brother today, and he said mom is doing much better, can even get in bed by herself (i'm not so sure about that one). Anyway, I'll call her tomorrow.
Off to the Walmarts for some battery shopping, oh joy!!
