..i been forgetting, but fyi, every time..i come onto the site,

..i'm pausing, & thinking my "prayers", for positive outcomes,


, & for comfort measures.



for God's sakes , ...& yes...that's is as simple we can "work",

life into our own "beckoning", if only we trust our faith in what we
truly believe, we can achieve.....or least the joy of giving our
supreme efforts, no matter what others think....or do. never give
up...your feelings for life.



...remember, you are never alone. [ tell you what i think....of "tim",
thru your eyes...someone special..who has written a great life
in sharing so many gifts and insights. things that never can be
taken away..or forgotten.

my mother never got to see our precious daughter. one day when
she was 2, i happened to glanced over, and there she was ,
"acting exactly" liked her grandmother. where did that come from ?

home movies..here come..my mother, with her cigarette dangling
from her mouth..rushing up to the camera....to show off her
rings. or the time sitting on the basement stairs...all nonchalant,

smile...after throwing a lite firecracker between the bunk
beds.

al..these moments..are part of life. i was destined..to have alot
action..because.....of my choices. but you kno, just because
others are envy...& mean harm; ~ faith & time...can changed
even "trouble"..into something good. this has been my experiences.

it also should be stated, i deserve no credit...repeating "observations"
...for the ways things are, but they are well designed...& just like
the 'instructions" provided by the "holy bible", they are "in placed",
for our benefit, and for overcoming those with malice.

..all i can say...i sure drive "mean"..people nuts, just because...i'm
able to recognized..what their behaviors are up to. & all i'm doing
..is chosing the things..that are most simple, & producing the
desire results....lil'happpines..for every day..i 've the privilege on
earth. * last christmas..i though we were helping families..in
need, but in reality..it worked , the other way around,



so, ...you & tim..go get'um!

Well, being at work today has been a little harder for me, but I'm going to try to tough it out. I have a knee dr. appointment this afternoon, so that's helping to break up the afternoon. I'll be VERY happy to work from home tomorrow!

I made some really forgettable chicken breasts tonight - yucko. They smelled better than they really tasted. Oh well. Not my night, I guess.

I can't eat lamb. There is only one place I ever do: Tangerine Cafe in Epcot

I just can't get over how cute lambs are. Actually, I have a list of foods that are too cute to eat:

Lamb
Rabbit
Dauphin
Mahi Mahi
Veal
Quail
Pigeon
Squab

You get the idea.

I have no idea why I decided to share that, other than Alton Brown is doing a show on Lamb gyros.

YOU FORGOT BAMBI!! and I found that gyros show very interesting. I dont like the taste of lamb, rabbit.... venison... I've stayed away from veal quails pigeons ( arent they rats with wings?)

actually I'm one of the pickiest people on earth!

Here's a Chicken Breast recipe for ya!

Take one HUGE chicken breast and cut it into 3'rd (a normal size one half should be fine!) then take a slice of prosciutto and wrap it - (now prosciutto can go for $10 a pound, but my friend got me to buy 3 slices - and it was less than $1!! so try this!) Depending on how long your slices are (Mine were wide and long! so I cut them in half) you just want to wrap around once the breast slice... (I should've taken a picture - explaining it makes it sound so hard! it was so easy!) my chicken was a chunk maybe 2 in by 3 inches wrapped around was the proscuitto - put it in a skillet with olive oil - seam side down - when its brown (2-3 min) turn...

the flavor was so outstanding - and that's all I did!!

I served it with pasta - grape tomatoes that I roasted - a head of garlic roasted - squeeze the garlic in a bowl, add roasted tomatoes and mash together - add 1 cup of the pasta water - then the penne pasta!

easy and cheap!

tonight its pork chops and applesauce!

Thanks for the commiseration today I'm sure I'll be able to take it easier and will feel better tomorrow.

On the other hand, I managed to drink more water today at work per Cel's suggestion, so that was a plus. I'd really like to have lost 30 lbs when I go to my appointment on Thursday.

Hi LB!

I did speak with the oncologist today and he told me to calm down, not to worry myself. More or less, with Tim's history, anything that shows up must be looked at extensively. MRI will better show them what's there. Could be the cysts, or anything. He said I shouldn't worry. So, I'm a little calmer just from that. But still concerned, but for good reason.

Tomorrow is Tim's Birthday. I may have said this before, but when he first told me when his birthday was, it totally explained ALOT. Must people aftering getting to know Tim, feel the same when they learn his birthday is on April 1st.

Sandy, sounds yummy, I'm always looking for different yummy ways to prepare chicken. Thanks.

Mony: Today is my aunts bday too. She LOVES being an April fool. I hope Tim has a good birthday and good news from the doctor.

Marita: What happened to 9-5??

Moo: Well, the day is young, but so far I have done the following:

1. Miracle Boy had to be at school early as they are going on a field trip to Indianapolis. He is blissfully sleeping in his bed.

Me: "Omgosh I overslept, I think you missed the bus to Indy!!!"

Miracle Boy: stumbles out of bed, falls to the floor

Me: "April Fool!!!"

Miracle Boy: while sitting in the floor eyerolling me "You will get paid back."

2. Gigantor and Red are blissfully sleeping in their beds.

Me: "Omgosh, there is a bear in the pasture. It's HUGE!!!!!"

Gigantor and Red: stumble out of bed, rush down the stairs to the window, pushing and shoving each other "Where??? Where????"

Me: "April Fool!!!"

Gigantor and Red: "YOU believed her!" "No I didn't, YOU did"

3. Julia Roberts is blissfully sleeping in her bed. (background: she always carefully chooses an outfit to wear to school the night before. the outfit is always nicely placed on her dresser.)

Me: "Omgosh!! Your little brothers let Hunter (the barn cat) in the house. He climbed on your dresser and puked all over your outfit!!:

Julia Roberts: sits straight up in the bed. "WHAT?!?!?! Little brothers are so stupid. Now what am I supposed to wear? Why do they......"

Me: "April Fool!!!!"

Julia Roberts: "Mooom!"

All I did was tell Hannah she had something on her nose and she ran to the mirror looking and keep saying where mom....I told her there and then she wiped it and said she couldn't get it off. Then she tired to get me by knocking on the door and running. Nicholas he wasn't falling for anything this morning.

Marita-- your working to hard. Good thing your vacation is coming up soon.

Moo-- have a good day working from home. Drink all your water!

My BIL was suppose to come today but can't so I don't have to rush to get my house in order so he doesn't think we are slobs. Especially by the front door. Think I can put the winter boots away now or will that jinx me.

Marita - 9:30? When did 9-5 turn into 9-9:30? Does that mean you don't have to go into until 1 today?

I wanted my little Ethan to be born on April Fools. But he decided to stay in until tomorrow. It would have been big fun to have had him on April Fools. Just think of all the jokes I could have played on my nurses and midwife. And I have NO IDEA what to get him for his birthday tomorrow. Nor do I have a vehicle to get to the store. I hope he likes cash.

I planned a little imaginary trip to WDW this morning. It would be over Memorial Day weekend. The AP rates are SO good for that time and Chad and I already have tickets. Feeding our family for 4 days costs more than a room though. Anyway, when I put that expense into quicken we had the money for it. (if we keep to our budget between now and then and nothing comes up) Now to see if I can get Chad on board.

Isaac is finally cutting another tooth. He only has 6. I don't know how he manages to eat everything.

Ben got his whole team today.
They've been doing a weekly huddle with tons of decorations, music, etc -
and the president of the company happened to come down to Ben's department yesterday.
So Ben told his whole team during today's huddle that Mr. Perry (the president) feels that they are making a mockery of his company and wants it to stop immediately.
He went on and on - and everyone believed him. it was hiiiiilarious!

Allie and for a New York Trip (if that doesnt work out, have you looked at airfare to Chicago??? I know a great tour guide Priceline hotels downtown $100 perhaps if the Cubs arent in town.. the museums are great, food great, Broadway Plays - Mary Poppins, etc are great - and its cheaper than NYC ... just sayin

Moo Star Jones was on Oprah today and talked about her surgery. It was kinda sad, in that she still felt 300# in her mind, that it helped her once she went to do some therapy... but she said the doctor told her to do pilates, and yoga and she didnt have any surgery for skin removal - she did have something on her tummy tho...

so MOO You are doing AWESOME!!!

Marita you do need a vacation! Dh came home last night at 10pm - then went back to work at 11pm, and he's still at work! sad that....

and my pork chops - what a disaster! I make them all the time THE SAME way - brown them in the grill pan 2 min per side then slap a lid on them to steam them for 5- 7 min and THE LID WOULDNT COME OFF!! Gadzook... well dh wasnt home for dinner, ds went with his friend to burrito place... so dd and I had cheese and crackers for dinner, nibbled on the rosemary roasted potatoes and fresh homemade applesauce! DH banged a hammer on the pan while lifting the lid off, he got it off... told me never to do that again!! (but but, I ALWAYS .... yes dh... maybe it was an early April Fool's joke on me! )

When Tim came back from having his MRI, he said, well, I think I've had every kind of picture taking test you can actually have. Said it was very loud, I know this, I've had 3 MRI's in my life.

Now we wait.

I got Tim tickets to see the Detroit Red Wings on Sunday. The kids got him a new shirt to wear to the game. I will be wearing my Brett Hull jersey.
