LOL, Cel,

That dog on the right is how I feel at the moment, EVIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lynette we must have been bitten by the same bug.

Friday I cleaned the kitchen.

Today the laundry room got clean and nothing but laundry stuff is in there. I did do several loads, I didn't count and put most away.

I also cleaned the girls room and was able to reduce all the clothes and pack up what wasn't being worn into 5 mega diaper boxes and duct taped them and put into hall closet. I also compacted so much that the extra dresser is now empty and waitng to go into boys room.

That's tomorrow's project.

While the girls were playing in the tub, the upstairs bathroom got a make over and is sparkling clean.

Lynt and Mony, can I borrow you for a couple of days please? Or at least your bug?

I promise to throw in any drink of choice and order in whatever food you want!

I actually DID do a load of laundry today and folded another load. But more to go....

On the plus side, the house is pretty tidy..

On the minus side, I am still ticked off as all get out and not getting anything done.

Marita...sorry about your dilemma. Sleep on it and see if you're feeling any better tomorrow. I will be the first one to admit I don't adjust well to change. It takes me awhile when anything in my life changes. But, it doesn't look like they're offering you a choice, so just go into it with a good attitude and a smile and do your best. Maybe you'll end up enjoying it. You never know. :)

Peej - I know you would feel for me on trying to get through to Member Services on a heavy call day. It took me 3 1/2 hours two weeks ago, so I was thrilled to get right through this morning. Today was the first day for non-owners to be able to book BLT and SSR treehouses. Not that there were probably that many left too book during prime vacation times. But for my SSR developer points, the 7 month window fell on the same day the above-mentioned window opened, so I was afraid I'd be on the phone all morning again.

I will be going for 4 nights at BLT with my family followed by 4 nights at SSR with my sister, hopefully. She had decided not to go due to money being tight, but now she thinks she may be able to swing it :goodvibes
Your trip sounds absolutely lovely. I'm glad to hear you got right through to member services. I was reading the threads about the system crashing this morning. People were in the middle of their reservations when it broke down. What a mess. Even more reason you should feel happy! :dance3:

If you had looked up at the trailer, you would have seen that I was home!
Or asked Jamie - he even met the guy!

The date went really well. He and I had a blast.
we met at 10 am to walk with Riley in a park -
and we just kept hanging out!
which was fun, but I ended up ditching my friend lisa. :(
She's moving to Mobile in April and I was supossed to have dinner at her house.
I asked if I could bring Chris, but she didn't want me to.
I'm going to hedoublehockey sticks!
But Chris came back home with me and we hung out all night -
(with no non dis friendly activities even! except for shooting tequila.)
Then we went to cracker barrel this morning.

But we were seriously back home by 5 pm! and here all night!
Glad it went well and you're not dead. Why didn't your friend want you to bring him with you? I always say the more the merrier.

I love that kind of stuff. I should live closer to the ocean.

My mom and I used to sit at the picnic table after my Uncle went smelting and cleaned smelt. Loved it then too.
Define smelting. Please and thank you.

Busy weekend . It is hubby's birthday today so we celebrated all weekend with going to see his family yesterday and then today doing family things.

I baked him a pizza size chocolate chip cookie with chocolate icing. He isn't a cake person. His mom made him pie yesterday.

Marita-- what were your hours before? Sorry you have to do the formal hours in the office.

Moo-- :woohoo: on finishing up your trip plans.

Celery-- sounds like a nice date.

Off to watch Amazing Race.....
Happy birthday, Mr. Nab!!! :cool1: I was thinking about making chocolate chip cookies tonight! I was going to bring them in tomorrow for my kids. But then I ran out of time. Mr. Nab's cake sounds AWESOME though!

I apologize. Tell her we are joking. It was great. She is not amused.
How come after a lot of your jokes people aren't amused? Does that make it not a joke anymore? OR just not a funny joke? At any rate, great story, thanks for sharing.

Checking in, Moovers! I had an uber-productive weekend. Cleaned both kids rooms top-to-bottom, moved furniture around in their rooms, scrubbed everything, cleaned out bureaus and closets and toyboxes and bookshelves. Both rooms are sparkly clean and beautifully organized now.....Let's see how long it lasts. I also managed to do 7 loads of laundry, grocery shop and clean the kitchen. Now I am dog tired.

Remember how my DH moved the computer from his man-cave to the living room "for me"? Yeah, well he's been on it all day and I am now relegated to the family desktop at the desk in the upstairs hall. Great. :sad2: Once he realized that the man-cave computer runs much faster with Mozilla than Explorer, he unofficially reclaimed it. Grrrrr!

It's been raining here for most of the day. It was supposed to have been snow, so I am thankful that the forecasters were wrong!

Moo, I am headed over to FB to play my turn in our game. So nice to have the games back, no matter what they're calling 'em now!
That was tricky of the DH. Oh well, at least you'll have your laptop soon and then you'll be back in business!

For some reason my planning this week took me forever and a day. It usually only takes me about 3 hours on Sunday afternoons to get the whole week planned out and have all the work ready. I was having an unable to concentrate situation this evening!

Well. I guess the weekend's over. How does it always go so fast? Hope everyone had a nice one. Night.
:grouphug:

Oh my goodness! Sandy wasn't kidding! The friday the 13th psych is heeeelarious!

a rick astley pinata!!!!!!!!
:lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl:

anyway - riley is not happy with me cuz I'm still watching tv in the living room - he wants to go to bed! I found him while ago in the bed already.

1. Glad it went well and you're not dead. Why didn't your friend want you to bring him with you? I always say the more the merrier.

2. Define smelting. Please and thank you.
1. IDK! My IRL friends are weird about the online guys I meet. They're ok with you guys - or at least they pretend to be -
but they think the guys are weird. :confused3

she does have two girls, and she's super protective of them - but it was a second date and I've been talking to him for like a month.
but apparently I was out of bounds for asking because I got a text lecture from Ben for it.
:confused3
I guess if I'd met him the "traditional" way in a bar or something, it would've been fine!
ha.

2. For once I'm with you!!!!! what is smelting?
I know smelt roe is fish eggs -
so maybe smelt is a kind of fish?
:confused3

bbn - Yet another cute kid story :) But I sense a theme of snarkiness running through your offspring! I wonder where they could have gotten that from? :rolleyes1

Peej! I hadn't heard that the system crashed this morning. Now I'm happier than ever that I got through when I did :goodvibes

Wikipedia said:
Smelts are a family, Osmeridae, of small fish found in the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. They are common in the North American Great Lakes, and in the lakes and seas of the northern part of Europe, and run in large schools along the coastline during their spring migration to their spawning streams.

It is one of the few fish that sportsmen are allowed to net, using dip nets, either along the coastline or in the streams. Some sportsmen also ice fish for smelt. Smelt are often fried and eaten whole.

My family did NOT cook them whole.

Goog luck this next week Marita.

Thanks for leaving me with that lovely image, MOO!

I actually have a one week grace period before embarking on a 9-5 schedule, dont know why, but don't look a gifthorse in the mouth.... it was offered.

i kno..this is hard to belive..but it's still cold here! :cold:

fyi, i just wish..they didn't do it, but i guess...hollyhood..likes

..the power..to change reality. [ if only they could.] they awarded

..the batman star. [ the thing, that is bothersome...it looks like

..the thing..to do, to live on. sadly, this...influence others.

they do effect your reality preceptions but not reality itself.
drugs don't do problem solving. they add anything new to your personality.
* the best way to to influence others..is a positive action.

drugs..street, rx, etoh, chemicls..particles injested.

fyi, interesting fact, we don't give meds..to control no person. rather
for them to control their reactions, so they can utilize their knowledge
and desires.. to select the best choices..for their well being. meds
are treat , support health conditions.

what in the world..was he trying to "treat"..that night?

..i could be wrong..but isn't everyone desiring to be accepted for
being themsleves...how in the world can a person..be oneself...
under the influence, altering one's body responses?...

drugs..are soo tricky , but predicable...too. if they are controlling
you, instead the other way around, you 're in a drug stupor, or
drug seeking. nacroitcs..have 2 serious side effects. one is tolerance,
..and the second.. mood altering- where you're taking the drug to
"feel good" instead of treating the condition.

the economy?...work and production...getting things fixed, means

working with what we have. food, production, natural resources,
recycling, portecting the environment -cleaning up, and limiting

a family build a home...4-5-6..thousand..sq/ feet....instead what they
really need? paper/plastics...materials..recycling?..why not make
all ..essentials..in "family sizes"?

# 1 natural resource/s?...a country's people. [we should never be

sports, social/recreational activites, * common sense..isn't common

Good Morning Mooovers.

SnarkbRitches: did you just borg me yet again??? :flower3:

Marita: so sorry about your new hours. Remember, sometimes "Change Is Good".

Moo: ty.

PJ: Did you say you wanted a smelt melt? Have to travel kinda far for one of those. You just missed the plane. Oh and btw, maybe SOME people have no sense of humor. harumph.

Celery: Good luck with the dating duo!

 LilG, MTK, CelMama, Mony, Nab, and all who posted and those who did not. and those who might want to. and those who do mdb's. and those who do not.

You know it is really cold out when you have to cover your face or it will freeze off. Hannah said her eye balls were frozen. I would have drove but that would have taken to long since the car was iced over as well.

Poor Hannah walked to school with her hand over her face ( only her eyes were uncovered , she had on a hat, hood and scraf ) the whole time meaning I had to navigate her all the way to school. Then I got to the school to see the kids were still outside so I took her with me to the office, asked what the temp. was this morning. She replied -22. They are allowed in at -18. The kids can come straight in. I told her the kids were not told because they are all out there! :sad2:

Now that I am warmed up again, I think I will stay in. I was going to go out and get stuff to make pancakes tomorrow since it is Shrove Tuesday or Pancake Day to others.

Hannah , Nicholas and I are giving up french fries for Lent. And since we go to Mc'Donalds after swimming on Wed. there will be apple slices for all.

Nab - I think french fries is a good choice - still a sacrifice, but it's better to not eat them anyway!
I want the apple slices at burger king that look like fries!

I'm at a 3 hour layover in the houston airport - eating yummy shrimp cocktail with avocado and pico!
woo!

yummy.

Why has it taken me this long to realize I can make my own cereal that's actually good for you and cheaper? Doh!

I just finished making Chad some granola bars for work, the boys some granola and a granola cereal with almonds, soy nuts, dried cranberries, coconut and bran flakes(plus the oats). I can't wait until it's done to try it. It looks and smells SO good!

I'm not sure how the bars are going to hold up. The recipe called for light corn syrup, which defeats the purpose of being healthy, so instead I used pure maple syrup. So we'll see. If that doesn't work next time I'll make a sugar syrup with raw sugar so it'll harden and hold together better.

Nab - I'm so sorry it's so cold! I bet you can't wait until it starts to warm up. Does it ever get warm there?

Marita - Sorry about your work hours. After things settle down some I'm sure you can start slacking again. ;)

Oh my goodness! I'm such a sucker for a musical! I just watched the musical number from last night with hugh jackman, beyonce, zac efron, vanessa hudgins, the chick from mama mia and I guess the guy from mama mia -
Wow.
Of course, my favorite part was the "At last" dig at etta james (how uncool can you be? Especially for someone I always admired!) - but it was all great!
and hugh jackman can sing?
who knew?
I caught his lap dance last night for barbara wawa.
wow.

Hi Peej: Smelting at least for us, was when uncle Bob would go out and fish with the boys. He'd bring a ton back wrapped in newspaper and my mom and I would sit outside, at the picnic table, scale, degut, and de egg the smelt.

Then we would cut off their heads, and slit them down the middle in half.

Mom would fry them with a light coating and yummy!

The remains got put into the garden.

ETA: MommyP: Please let me know how that turns out. I would love to make some as well!

All's good in the world when Nebo is writng a TR.

Carry on!

BBN: Just so you know, when my alarm was going off this morning I was dreaming I was catching fruit in a basket!
