Hey all. I'm back from my date. It went well - went over three hours too.
No kissypoo at the end, but he has an awful runny nose from allergies.
He said he wants to do go out again, so we'll see.
:cool1:

mony - ha! I called my mom too cuz the lights were still on when I drove by.

Hope your DS feels better soon! Ear stuff is icky!

I am achy and freezing. My temp. is 100ish. Waa.

Yesterday was a picnic with people from our church who live here in the same town(away from the church). We had a good time.

We even had my estranged sister and her family over for dinner last night and had a good time. :faint:

This morning laying in bed I put my hand on my belly and felt my uterus. Freaked me out. It seemed way too high and big for 12 weeks. :scared: Can't wait for an u/s.

Call the medicwhatever lady and cry. I can't wait for your u/s too! I am guessing it is big and high because you were so skinny when you got pregnant. You don't seem sick enough for twins. Besides don't the old wives say that you carry girls big and high and boys low and less big?

Bethipooh- Congrats on the good news of healthy little granddaughter. I remember how much fun it is to do all that pre-natal shopping.

Monica- My DD often had temperatureless ear infections but I always thought that was a cleft palate thing. I hope your son feels better soon. That had to hurt! What was the deal with Coraline? I don't mind spoilers because we never see movies in the theater anymore.

Celery- Glad your date went well.

Next week for me is crazy busy. It is overwhelming really. Ackworthy even.

I have to go get the troops ready for chuch..... and get a sweater.

mony - he was nice - reasonably funny - easy going. I think I like him some, but we'll see how it goes.
I second twinks request for a coraline spoiler.
just put a warning on it so people can skip it if they want.

mommyp - hope you feel better!

I'm feeling lazy today, so I'm going to the second service. Which means I get to lay around for another hour! woo!

First of all I was not skinny. LOL!

Second of all the old wives are fools. I carried Isaac higher than my others and I get asked if I'm having twins by the time I'm 8 months pregnant because I carry so big. Hello, my last 2 babies were 9lbs.

Maybe I am a few weeks further along than I thought. :scratchin

I have been less sick with this pregnancy than my last 2. Every one of mine has been different. :upsidedow

GOOG Mornin Sunshines!! :beach:

Its another beautiful day in the neighborhood!!

(so all those sickie germies need to go NOW!)

Moo are you goin to BLT? Didya get your ressie?

Lexmelinda :wave2: and pixiedust: Loved talkin to you! we're thinkin of you! :grouphug:
(she said she's busy - too busy for Facebook or here - can you imagine? She's taking care of life and kids - just got back from a trip to WDW with DD - left FL before it got cold even!! They hadnt lost power, but neighbors did, so she had a slumber party with neighbors!

Sandy, thanks for asking!!!

Took me over 2 1/2 hours to get my call through (actually hubby was the one who finally lucked out). I had gotten through earlier but then it went to a busy signal :(

I was able to book a one bedroom Magic Kingdom view for four nights because my sister decided she couldn't afford to go  Now I still need to decide when to use my Saratoga Springs developer points because I think I'll just go while my family is there. If DD's vacation time weren't so limited, I'd love to stay a bit longer.

Poor planning by Disney in making today the day for people booking both BLT and Treehouse Villas for the first time.

MommyP - Sorry you're feeling wuckety today

Sandy, thanks for the Lexi update!

Moo, MOO HOO on booking MK view. That should be awesome.

MP and Mony's kids, hope you all feel better.

I'm having a lazy day too. Just reading a TR and waiting for DD to come over and mess up the kitchen while making chicken noodle soup for sick DH.

Then I have to do some :laundy: ughh!

Glad things went well

Took the kids to see Coraline.

Cute, but had a few odd moments. One my jaw dropped, several parents gasped and my boys had to put their eyeballs back in their sockets.

I was not prepared for them to see that!!!! :scared:

My oldest went to the Urgent care today. Last night awokened by my 12 year old crying.

Something ain't right when that happens.

His ear, major pain.

Turns out his ear was jammed with wax, once they did an ear wash and wax scrape, and SCRATCHED HIS EAR DRUM FREE OF CHARGE, found out it was majorly infected.

WHAT'S UP WITH EAR INFECTIONS AND NO TEMPERATURE?????

DH took him and said he when he screamed he know something happened.

I'm just upset that happened to him. Heck it hurts when you put a soft q-tip in your ear and go in too far. Can you image it being scratched????

THEN the DR. tells my DH in front of my son that she's concerned that he gets the proper sterile drops in case it gets into his brain, cause that can cause some serious problems. Are you kidding me????

We had to convince him over and over that the drops were sterile and wouldn't hurt his brain.

Lovely day today wasn't it?

50 degrees it got to.
mooo-my about the movie, double mooo-my about your ds. :eeks: I hope he's feeling better now. Have you tried putting sweet oil in his ears or those ear wax candles to push the wax out?

Hi Bethipooh,

I just noticed your AF reference in your location. Is your hubby in the AF? How is that? I mean life in the AF. My son just joined in May and is still in training, currently in Alabama. ( Hi Allie!)

I miss him, sobb!
How is your ds doing Backstage? Has he adjusted to military life/routine?

Any vibes? What was he like? Was he polite?
This inquiring mind wants to know , does he like Disney? Did you ask him? Didja? Didja?

Wow, I'm glad dh hung in there waiting to be waited on. Did he get to enjoy Disney tunes while waiting? Did you catch him singing or whistling while he waited?I 'm glad you got the view you wanted- mooohoo!

I've got a cure for your laziness, I just sent you a bunch of stuff on Facebook. Have you typed in your college or high school on the Information page section of your Profile? You might find fellow classmates.

I'm off to take a nap before evening service. Have a great afternoon all :cheer2::cheer2:

He is doing great. Mind you, he spent months on casual duty, meaning he did nothing all day but check in for 10 minutes in the morning. But now he is back in training.

I went to High School in Germany and College at night for 10 years. I dont even know any names...

And what is wrong with laziness?????:confused3

In other news, DD stopped by and almost killed my 15 yr old dog by taking him for a walk. His hips aren't working so well anymore. He barely made it in the house and collapsed, poor thing!
She didn't have time to make chicken noodle soup for DH due to some studying she has to do, but managed to liberate a ginormous bag of groceries from the house, and some of the chicken fricassee I made yesterday. I was dissed for not telling her I made it. Who knew she likes it (it containes butter)?????? And she mentioned Heart Attack on a Plate even, which I havent made in years and could get any more rich with fats (sweet cream, sour cream, cheese, pork, salt pork, etc) But boy is it delicous! Serve with French bread.
This is my fat-free living daughter talking? I wouldn't dream of telling her of HAOAP if I made it, and would probably get scolded again.

Talked to my Mom today, and its looking pretty sure I am going for her 95th birthday in May. For those more experienced in travel, is it generally better to book early or close in?

Off to take a shower. and then eat dinner. and then maybe a nap. Or vise versa

Lil Blue - Hubby passed the phone over to me once it started ringing so I was the one who got to enjoy the music while I waited for 25 minutes :)

I'm the Disneyholic in the family. He just tags along every couple years or so.

And I reintroduced DD to WDW in December after not being there since 98. We had enough nice meals and adult beverages to convince her she might enjoy going as an adult (especially if I continue to foot the bill), LOL!

Hmm, footing the bill sounds familiar to me...
DD took off with about 5 bottles of Yingling (sp) beer that DH bought for the superbowl. (Besides the other 5 gazillion things she took) (well, he bought 12 bottles, 2 different kinds). He only drank 2 bottles total. Anyway, DD is not a beer drinker, but took the beer for her roommates. Which I guess is good, more room in the fridge.

Now I really need to head for the shower before DH goes to bed.

I didn't make it to church this morning. I decided to rest my head for just a minute and the next thing I knew, it was noon!

To punish myself, I walked four miles and I'm going to my parents church. :rotfl2:

Riley does not do well past 2 miles. I had to take several breaks and carry him for awhile.
He's heavy and hot!
But we had a good time.
