Being in Florida last month sure makes me want to be able to be a snowbird like my cousin.

Which reminds me of something I wanted to ask. Have any of you played a card game called Hand and Foot? My cousin plays it with some people she has met since she started spending the fall/winter months in Florida. They take turns hosting. I had never heard of it before, but Mr. Google says it is similar to Canasta.

I finally got around to checking why I only earned 152 hours of vacation instead of 160. Guess what? I guess I didn't take enough vacation time and ran up to my 320 hour total limit, so I accrued no vacation between May and September. So I got punished for working!!!!!!!!1
You bet I won't let that happen again, and I may just take not one but TWO sick days to compensate. Harummphhh

The only Hand and Foot I've heard of is quite contagious with the little people.

Uhhh, it was JUST an ADT, it wasn't a real life conversation. I made it up. But, had it been real I would point out that LINT made the accusation so the burden of proof would have been hers. And not mine. Any other standard would be asking me to prove a negative.

wedding isnt until the 24th - people get stressed!! I can no longer use internet at school, my laptop died, dh works 65+ hours in 4 days - so cant use his laptop (except now when he wants me to check out disboards!)

I think I see Cancun in my future, but not until next year about this time.

Last night we went to Best Buy and LOOKED at the TV's. I think we both liked the LCD's not the plasma's because they reflect soooo much light, which is one of our biggest problems right now in the living room.

We want to hang it over the fireplace and we liked the 47". Then DH wants the whole package with a tilted wall mount and surround sound.

I think someone better get cracking on knocking some fieldstone down.

Hi to everyone else.

wanna hear something funny-ish? The dh says "I had no idea 'Wicked' was such a big deal. I thought I would be able to get tickets no problem. But when a girl at work, told me they were sold out I thought 'uh oh'."

Luckily, he knows two gals down at the ticket office at the Arts Center and they somehow got him great seats for Friday night.

He said he knew that I liked "Wizard of Oz" and it had something to do with that. Other than that he was clueless.

2. We're wrong to go to church on Sunday because Saturday is the REAL sabbath.
3. Sugar feeds cancer.

I JUST learned that game on Tuesday. It is SO fun!

I went through this huge long discussion with her explaining that we KNOW he rose on a Sunday because it was the first Sunday of passover - and even though the calender has "changed," we still celebrate Easter based on when Passover is - so we're celebrating the right day.
Then I went into this discussion of how even Jesus said not to be so legalistic about the Sabbath - he basically said "Don't sweat the small stuff."
And yet she's sweating it.
I told her the only way she could have a true day of rest would be to become Amish and remove herself from modern society
then she could rest on Saturday AND Sunday! Woo!
She could keep the ten commandments AND celebrate Jesus rising. the best of both worlds.
Let's start a commune!
