Oh joy, the fun never ends. Friday night someone had an accident and knocked out the power for miles around. The next day the desktop pc didnt work. I don t know if that is related or not. Ok, fine, I have my laptop and all worked fine. But hubby unplugged the desktop today to take it to the store, and now my home network doesnt work. It says network to whatever is fine, but not getting through to my PC. ACK!!!!!!!!!

I went to get a new phone cord, since the old one had a broken thing at the end that holds it in. $5.99 for a frigging phone cord!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But Im glad I still have my dial-up backup, I dont think I am going to give it up. I need it for life and WORK. SO there. Fully justified expense.

Marita-- you sound like you had a very productive day. Wish I could say the same.

Celery-- reading your post mad me very sad for you. I know there is someone great out there just for you. You deserve to love and to be loved back.

Moo-- hope Mr. Moo is feeling better. Will he be off work tomorrow?

Nab, thanks for posting. I was starting to think there was a big party somewhere and I wasnt invited.

My house is acutally looking decent. I decided I need a new A/C grille though, I dont think I can clean it suffieciently. Oh, and a new lamp shade.

Too bad tomorrow is Monday, so that won't get done.

Oh, I also got shortened a vacation day at work, no idea why. So I need to investigate that next week. I didnt have any extraordinary time off that would justify shorting me. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!! Just another hassle!

Tried to watch some TV, but it's impossible in this house until the kids go to bed.

Fought with the baby to go to sleep without her sleeping in my bed, so she could puke from crying so hard. I had to bath and change her and the bedding, and in the end she cried herself to sleep in her own bed.

That was draining.

I went to see Twilight in the theater this afternoon - it was definitely better than watching a 4"x6" image (bootleg, I'm sure) on the Internet. I could actually see Edward sparkle, which was the main reason I went The color was better on the big screen so it didn't look so artsy fartsy.

I also finally did some grocery shopping, bought some Crocs on sale for me and DH, and then picked up some yummy sushi on the way home. Don't know why I'm craving sushi I thought maybe it's something to do with the ginger, so I picked up some of that at the store so I can make some ginger tea.

Nabbie - Tell the kids I'll be happy to have ice cream for dinner with them again! If you get the urge to visit Frankenmuth again, maybe we can talk Mony into joining us

I talked with Mari tonight and we're toying with the idea of doing our next trip around her birthday in late-September. I know the weather can be iffy then but September is when BLT is supposed to open up for reservations. Maybe some DIS friends will be down there then for free dining if they offer it again.

Steph -- sorry about the upset tummy. Been there done that on Christmas day. Hope it isn't the flu I had.

Marita-- at least you don't have to make school lunches. And I make hubby lunch too. I didn't miss that when they were off.

I missed Housewives tonight because Hubby was watching 24. Then he tells me next week is a two hour one too. I really should remember to set the DVR when this happens and watch it during the day.

Nab, DVRs are a wonderful thing. SO are 2 seperate tvs in different rooms

I am still trying to figure out what to do with Nicoles's room now. I would really like to make it into a nice guest room with a queen size murphy bed. But that is kind of pricey. Then again, I am thiinking long term, in case we ever actually have kids in law and grandkids. I may just go with a futon like Pumba said.
Then again, I probably wont need anything for about a year,

Nabbie - Maybe you can watch the show you missed on-line!

I just bought some navy Crocs - I have a pair but they're the ones without holes in the top and I can't find them anyway I know I can only wear them now if there's no snow or slush, but I figure it'll be nice to have them in the spring.

For hubby, I got a pair that looks sort of like camo, but it's a leaves and grass pattern. They were buy one pair, get the second pair for 50% off.

DH has decided he isn't going to work tomorrow. Taking it easy today was a good call.

I'm going to watch my Tivoed Brothers & Sisters at 11:00 after his The Unit is over. Guess I'd better haul the trash out.

the effects. one problem....you may still be alive..when you kept

fate is "sealed". it isn't where you're lacking 02, rahter all your
redblood cells are "locked up"..& cannot "carry" o2 around. sooo
doing all the cpr..in the world..will not save you. 2 things...
give new red blood cells or hyper -baric chamber.

see?...one's corrective measures...must addressed the real problem,
if one expect sucess?

Got both boys up with no problems, showered quickly, dressed, packed their lunches, ate w/o any issues.

AND two little girls where up extra early and I left them in bed with their daddy. He can HAVE THEM.

In fact, he can take them with him when he goes to Eerie PA today.



I'm tired of hearing "I had a bad dream." or not quite awake crying.

Can I take a vacation from being Mommy for a while? Just me? for about a month?

Goog Morning!

How was everyone's Holidays? We had Chad home for 4 days in a row, which was wonderful! Thursday and Friday we got together with my little sisters and their husbands and all the husbands added 200 square feet to my living space. Woot! My new multi-purpose laundry/storage room is 200 square feet. LOL! Much needed for a family of 7 and a half. ;o) We just threw up a wall in the garage. As soon as we can get him his big red barn for out back I get the other half of the garage too. All that's left to be done of the room is the drywall needs to be taped and mudded and then textured and then painted. My Dad also needs to put on the door, he is also going to do the mudding. Then I get to paint it. We are on the lookout for some super cheapo flooring for in there.

We had to get this all done so we can move the kittens inside there. We lost one while we were in Ga. and then on New Years day one of them got stuck in the wheel between the brake and wheel. So Chad had to take the wheel off to get him out. Thankfully he was okay, but Seth was super distraught. They are staying inside the front porch right now until the room is all closed in.

Tomorrow I'm going with my littlest sister to her first OB appointment and u/s. I hope it's twins. That would be super cool for her! But there isn't much chance for that really. I'm hoping my midwife will just write me a slip saying I'm pregnant so I can get my medicaid and get an appointment already.

Today is that day I've been waiting for: The kids go back to school (Thank God!). Seriously, I can only entertain them so long before I start encouraging them to rot their brains with video games and iPods. If I hear "I'm bored" one more time, I will be needing Mother's Little Helper and a very expensive spa day.

Monica? I hear ya. OY!

Moo- I love sushi. I really love any "roll" type. I'm craving Big Macs. Ugh.

Allie- It was fun! I don't get many chances to be competitive.

morning everyone......its me...!

Its Monday morning and I had to get up to put the trash out.....hubby put the big can near the sidewalk and I still had to take the bag of megara droppings and put those in another bag and throw those in the can......I stupidly walked to the sidewalk in my crocs with my housecoat of course......and it snowed last night...so those little holes in the crocs got snowed in.......YUCK.....did I tell you guys that I HATE SNOW........Yah I think I remember doing that...

Hubby went back to work today.....he had the last two weeks off with me....I shall miss him ...nice to have him around....I heard the kids at the bus stop this morning.....so their vacation is over with too.....

Today we should hear from the realtor.....we are NOW hoping that they could not figure out the deed and the land stuff......and they mail back the check we gave to hold the property.....we saw a nice one that wont have any problems and is close to the public beach up north in Gods country.....more space and less work to do from what we can see....the cabin had enough work to last hubby the six years before he does retire......he cant retire until I am OLD.....that is why six years...

I am sort of stressed about this whole carp......wish us luck that we DONT get the property.....hahaha......I know I am nuts.....

Well you are right Pumba the kids are back to school today. They were actually excited to see there friends again and see what everyone got for Christmas.

It was really cold out though. Brr. Sidewalks were pretty slippery too from the freezing rain we had.

Pumba-- you are funny. I guess I will wish you luck on not getting it then. I do understand though.

Mommy P-- when do you go for an ultrasound? Will you find out what the sex is?

UMA-- can't say as I have ever even had sushi but I do love Big Macs but try to stay far away from them.

Errands to run this afternoon, sign Nicholas up for Baseball, and that dreaded wash pile grow over night. Better get to it.
