We had the Children's Musical last night at church. The Twinkie children stole the show. I don't know if I should be or or . Goldenchild decided to to do his imitation of the youtube of the stormtrooper dancing during the Jingle Bells number. And then he noticed a microphone and readjusted it to be at his height for the finale. The whole church was cracking up.

Then the Twinkie twins with their BFF, despite not having speaking parts, managed to overact every scene and song lyric. Even ones they were not responsible for.... The one who retired from gymnastics was the most dramatic. I think we found her bliss. Heaven help us all.

Grasshopper had a brief role as the baby Jesus being visited by the Magi. He was adorable. I was enjoying myself till the pastor's wife pointed out he would be old enough to be in the Little Angel choir next year. ACK!

So far so good on the rest of us and Hannah felt better to go to school and Brownies tonight. They are having there Christmas party tonight.

I am still tired but got all my unpacking done and laundry. Now I got to work on Christmas. The kids only have this week of school and then they are off until the New Year.

We have our Christmas concert tomorrow night too. Hannah is a white lamb in the Nativity scene and Nicholas is doing Night Before Christmas the Hippy version what ever that is

Sorry I didn't check in sooner - I was pretty tired Saturday night after traveling home and had a Christmas party most of yesterday with some girlfriends from work.

Welcome home, Nabbie! So sorry to hear that Hannah picked up a yucky bug. We managed to avoid that this trip but my cold is still lingering on. I hear you on the cold Florida weather - I went to the MVMCP Friday night and was chilly all evening. But it's MUCH colder and windier here at home, especially today. Brrrrrr.

I'll try to post some pics tonight, but I didn't take any when I met up with Monica and her family - I was hungry and went off to find some lunch and went to a DVC event and never got back with her.

I haven't been on my laptop at home since getting back from vacation, but should have a chance to sign on this evening. After I pick up something to take to my work potluck luncheon for tomorrow.

[ gotta laugh...one thing is to redirect others from using "made-up"

....stuff into crutches. think, how effective..if one..uses a garden
hose..as an actual crutch...with a broken leg. sometimes, people

..the family..pick up..alot of the things..we gave them. one of the biggest
"hit"..was the disney 's picture..+ autographs...thingy i did on our pc cruise.
see?..some may not be able to go disney..doesn't mean..disney isn't an
important part of their family's dreams.

on a side note..have you seen the car comm.? about favorite christmas
gifts?...they showed..one lil'boy..boucning on a big orange ball, i guess
that was the one gift..the parents..gave the kids....early [ from my kids'
old stuff]....& off they went~~

tonight..we learn..[from my buddy] there's a family of 5..kids, living in
a barn..with dirt floors. we're going to put some things togehter for them.


now soo you don't get any wrong idea...i'm no saint....remember some
of the names..the crazy lady called me,? ...i don't take alot
crap. and my work....benefit..is giving me alot of ..counter measures,

..favorite things...i did, though young & ornery? ...i was with friends @
the local..skating rink. & jus happened to noticed...a bunch..of young
girls..teasing their freind.....& it sonbecame..evident..it had to
do ..with me [well, young girls..are easily mislead, ], but
if you kno..some of the experiences..i had growing up..made me
determined..this lil'girl...be teased...so what to do?.....back then, the
last skate...is always..a couples' skate. sooooo, what..a good opport..,
to show off...putting on the ritz. now , you should have seen her
...friends...reactions, ha! butt...remember..what she.did....the first
time around?..she sticked her tongue..@ them.

oh, funny but when my current problem came...he said..."you don't

Good Morning Moooovers!

I hope Melinda has been able to survive without the daily updates of my activities.

Today is a snow day here in KC. Well, not in the sense of a day off from school (nor work for me) but it did start snowing here about 30 minutes ago and is supposed to fall throughout the day ending up somewhere around 5 inches deep.

Wow quiet day in the neighbourhood......

I was out trying to get my Christmas shopping done. But it didn't happen. But did come home with stocking stuffers and two people of my list. Three more to go.

I have to stay home tomorrow because the service guy is coming back yet again for the dryer. I tell you I got a lemon and they won't take it back until it is called in three times for the same thing. This is the fourth time coming out but only second for the problem. First it was the sensor now it is the thermostat. They will come out in Jan. for my washer too since it will not spin the clothes enough and I have to do that twice sometime, waiting for a part.

Nab - Is it GE? I hate our GE appliances. We NEVER had one single problem when we had Kenmore. We've had to have them come out 4-5 times for the washer, 1 time for the dishwasher and 2 times for our fridge. Each time it's the same repair man and I cannot stand him. He is very condescending and rude.

I hate the service guy too. He didn't even do anything these two times and is just guessing this is the problem. If it is the board which we thought from the beginning I am going to be really ticked off because he will be coming out again. We got a package deal on the microwave, stove , washer and dryer. Plus got a rebate check when we redid the kitchen.
