Twinkie News: My car died last night....as in stopped working in the middle of the road in the cold in the dark. I am pretty sure it needs something done to the transmission which sounds very spendy to me.

Sounds to me like the perfect time to buy a vehicle with more seats.

It's is very spendy to fix transmissions. We had to do ours last year.

Well my bakery is now closed for the holidays. Did manage to get my shortbread and 2 apple pies made last night. I will take one to the in-laws along with a million cookies.

Hubby is packing the trunk as we speak, good luck on that since I have two big cardboard boxes full of cookies and one large trash bag of presents. Then he has to fit in the luggage and us ( well we don't don't in the trunk) in there too.

I loved all the chatter the last two days...I did read back.

WT's -- Safe travels and have a great Christmas at the WDW.

MommyP-- Safe travels to you too! The kids must be so excited.

Marita-- Hope you get everything done that you need too. On your son coming home. Sit back and enjoy!

Whew, full on cleaning and straitening frenzy here today. DH just finished steam-cleaning the carpet. My kitchen chairs are sitting outside at the moment, the coffee table is on the couch, as in a chair.The as yet undecorated tree is in the hallway, so I can't make it to the wine cellar (aka my trunk). I cleaned out the office, and when I finally got back to sit down, my internet was down. Hope I didn't kill the connection for good. It's unplugged for a while, hope it comes back. Thank googness I still have my MSN backup!!. Except the phone cord thingy that holds it in place broke off, so if I move wrong, I get disconnected

I missed Nab, dang it!

My daughter made it home around 1:00 this afternoon - w00t! She is spending a little father/daughter time with Don until I get home from work/errands since I had four days with her at WDW.
