Just heard on Fringe:

"Excellent. Let's make some LSD."

Umm. ok.

Not too sure this show is going to be believable.

They're giving an FBI agent LSD, Ketamine and other drugs, sticking a metal probe in her neck, putting her in some water and connecting her mentally to another FBI agent in a coma.
umm.
cuz they can communicate that way. Maybe.
cuz he's dying. He has 24 hours to live and he's the only one who saw a suspect.
so they can get a picture of the suspect.
and-----
watch the dying fbi agent die?
:confused3
How the heck is knowing what the suspect looks like going to help them find him?
They're in boston.
maybe big L's seen him in the neighborhood.

Celery-- the plate was almost 14 years old. I got them when we got married. Probably weaken with the dishwasher and microwave.

Marita-- I used to be pretty even with your posts. Moo Hooty on 7100 posts!!!

I am watching America's Got Talent and Big Brother.

nab - in bed already? wow.
Hannah's friends aren't spending the night, are they?

No friends, school night. Hannah goes to bed at 8:00 and reads for a half hour and Nichlolas bed time is 9:00 and can read until 9:30 but tonight he just went to sleep when Hannah did.

Lex - I asked if I had a code associated with my name when I originally made the reservations. No such luck. I haven't tried calling lately to see if anything has opened up for the first weekend. I may ask if they can switch me to an AP rate though. I need to get together with my cousin and talk with her about our hotel options.

I'll keep my eyes peeled for a January code. Are you looking to go right after New Year's? There should be a decent rate then if it's before Marathon Week.

January Code Watch

MommyP - I have had a couple post card and e-mail codes but only got to use one once for Wilderness Lodge. No soup for you for Christmas Eve, I'm sure :(

BH - What a cutie!

WELCOME BACK, Lil G!!!!!!!!! Looking forward to seeing some photos.

Nabbie - I have broken several Corelle plates :scared1: I remember when they advertised that they didn't break when you dropped them :sad2: I have some Corelle dishes that are 29 years old ;)

Are you just doing the cruise or are you also spending a little time at WDW?

Cel - Mari was thinking of minoring in Stats during her undergrad years. That didn't last long :lmao: She should be home later tonight. Cash had to stay overnight at the Vet's tonight. They didn't do his surgery until after 3:00 so we weren't able to get any answer when we called to see how he was after 5:30 when they told us to call. Mari will pick him up tomorrow.

Sandy! Goog to see you!!! Nice tag. Glad to hear you're working a bit. How many days til Disney??!

Mmmmm! For the birthday-soon girl!!!

Hello to everybody else!!!

I went to brush my teeth and I missed a really important part of the show! crap!

Nab, did you hear the Mama song on "America;s got talent"? It was really goog

I need to call my brother this week and book a flight, seeing as my mom is freaking out about dying, although my SIL says she is fine.

Hey I just wanted to quickly say hey and that tomorrow Tim will be at the hospital having his proceedure done.

I went into detail at the end of the trip report. Just don't feel like typing it all again.

I have to be up real early.

So, good night and i'll check in later tomorrow night.

Hope all goes well tomorrow, Mony :grouphug:

I'm sure you can count on a bunch of prayers from us for you, Tim, and your family!

Off to read your TR.

moo - I'm liking stats, but I can't imagine MAJORing in it.
ack!

marita - just bite the bullet and go see your mom!

mony - prayers ready!

marita - just bite the bullet and go see your mom!

It's harder than that. Found out my Brother and SIL will be on vacation for 3 weeks mid-October, and mom will be in a short term care facility. Mom said I could stay with her instead of her going to the facility (which she liked before), but I will only be there for one week. An I can't tale vacation before that before of year-end and knit-freak being out for 2 weeks.

I said , OK, I will come in November. Mom said, oh no, not later again, I might be dead by then! :scared1:

Lynette-- don't they play in the rain, our soccer games here are rain or shine.:sad2:

NAB, they play in the rain, but NEVER in thunderstorms, thankfully. Practice was cancelled, since we had a series of thunderstorms up until about 8pm.

I'm watching the premiere of Fringe.
Pretty good so far.
Kinda seems like it's going to be NCIS meets CSI meets X-Files.

with REALLY good cinemetography and interesting changes between scenes

Cel, I watched it too! It was good, no? Its creators are the same guys that created LOST, which I love. And I like the idea that it takes place in Boston. Although that scene with the probe in the girl's neck made me want to beurk!

Hannah goes to bed at 8:00 and reads for a half hour

That's the rule at our house too. Lights out for both of my kids by 8:30 unless it's a weekend.

Tomorrow is Natasha's first ever Brownie Troop meeting, as well as her first Hip-Hop dance class. She is so excited I'm surprised she was able to get to sleep.

ETA: Mony, hope all goes well for Tim tomorrow. I'll be praying!

Mony, left a note on your trippie.

DD bought a tray full of peaches at Sam's club today, and they look so good! Haven't had a peach in years. But I think they need to soften some more.

DD just got home, and said that a neighbor lady said that she saw a bald hispanic guy trying to break into cars here :scared1: She asked what he was doing, and he took off.

That's not good, this has been a safe neighbourhood so far.So, I took my checkbook and cellphone (that I hardly ever use) out of the car, just in case.

Marita, that's pretty scary.

BTW, how is your DD doing since her breakup?

big l - I liked it ok. I'll try to watch it - but not if it starts getting as confusing as lost!
I hope it's more like x-files - sometimes the episodes connect with the big mystery, sometimes they're one hour mysteries that don't relate to the big conspiracy.
or "pattern."

hip hop AND brownies? in one day? geez.
You're going to wear yourself out!

marita - keep everything locked up tight!

I'm having a hungry day.
both marita's and lynette's posts made me hungry -
peaches and brownies.
yummy!
:rotfl2:

DD seems actually to deal pretty ok with the breakup. I still havent had the nerve to ask details. She seemed to really have a bee under her bonnet Monday morning, but other hat that, she has been fine.

The thing about the break-in attempts is that I live on the last street in he sudivision at the end of a cul de sac with only one entry/exit, so you really have to have some nerve to try to commiit a crime, there is only one escape route, and then you can only turn right.

1. Yeah, I hope it's not as complex and involved as LOST. I adore that show, but I don't know if I have the energy to watch another like it. Sometimes, I just want to be entertained...KWIM?

2. No, I keep telling myself that it's better to get all their activities done in a group rather than having something every single day. At least this way, we'll have Fridays and Sundays as activity-free days.

ETA: Marita, glad your DD seems okay. She'll talk when she's ready, I'm sure.

Keep your doors and windows locked, just to be safe. Nice to know you have the dog to protect your house when no one is home!

I could really use a snack myself, but instead I'm going to get to bed a bit early.

G'night, all! Sweet dreams!

Ever seen a Corelle dish explode?

My sister accidentally turned on the wrong electric burner once and a the Corelle dish exploded into several pieces when it got too hot. That was really weird.

In other news, we got back MILs test results from the Dr (finally) and it is cancer, we just don't know which kind specifically. Anyway, none of the options for treatment are appealing/medically doable for her. So, we aren't sure what we are going to do.

Today, she doesn't really remember what she was told yesterday about the cancer... such is Alzheimer's.

Well, Woody is more likely to like a stranger, LOL. But he IS big and menacing looking. But at age 15, iI'm not sure how much fight he has in him
