Happy Monday!

Hi...mine are too Ive been sneezing my head off...alavert seems to help sum

I wrote a long post and it got eaten...

Mommy P-- love your first home. Was going to ask you if you put a fence up but then noticed you said it was your first home. I love looking at pictures and going down memory lane. Most my pictures are either stuck in the camera or computer. I loved when you could actually hold pictures in your hands. I would have a lot of albums and be broke then.

Hubby goes on his first night shift , it's been a long time. He is no longer on his course. He wrote the final exam at the end of July and failed by 4 marks. You had to have at least 70% to pass. So now we are limbo waiting to see if he can just go back to the last part and rewrite. He will have to wait for the next class to catch up to that point. I loved having him home for the month of August though. He had a lot of build up holidays.

This morning we walked around our little town looking in the shops. It is a beautiful day out after yesterdays rain.

Mony-- sorry to hear that you have a cold? Maybe allergies? We weather is so weird this year you never know.

I just did the first application process for the Disney Moms panel. lol.

I'm here, MP! Just checking in for the evening. That is a pretty tree. I'm thinking I haven't seen one before. But then, I just Googled and they seem to only grow in a warm climate.

Goog luck with your Moms Panel app!!! Hope you're able to get a dose of Christmas magic :)

Nabbie - Sorry to hear your hubby went through all that training and missed it by such a small margin! Hope he's able to try again, but I know you're glad to have him around more.

Lex - I was thinking it would have been nice to have had one of those shopping cart covers when Mari was little :scared: Hope things are settling down a bit at your new job.

Mony, BH, et al - Sorry to hear about all the allergy problems. I'm sure glad I don't have hay fever. Several of my coworkers are suffering lately.

Evening, Moovers!

Sorry for all people with allergies!

Well, I went to the seminar today, and I was disappointed. It had nother to do with retirement planning per se. It was presented by the Consumer Credit Council, and mostly talked about making a budget, paying down debt, etc. Nothing I didn't already know. Oh well! But I got a huge free roast beef sandwich for lunch, a little thing of potato salad, and some fruit. That lasts me for 3 meals, LOL.

As for the True Blood movie, I have no clue, I was paying little attention yesterday . But I recorded it, and am trying again tonight.
But supposedly they all drink synthetic blood now, and just want to become members of mainstream society. That's from the first 5 minutes.
OK, let me say this, You do NOT want your children to watch this show!!!!!!!!!

Hi. I'm alive. Try to contain your excitement. As per previous mention (thanks, L), I had car troubles which have impacted my financial situation. In other words, I spent all my money (and then some) on my car, so now there's no money for a laptop. Rest assured, I'll get one eventually! It really does stink though, because at the end of my day with 28 kids, I usually just want to go home, but I have to stay at school to get all computer related things done. The earliest I got home all last week was about 7. And, let's be honest, what really stinks about this whole situation is the fact that the computers at school block the dis boards. Trust me, I've tried!! :cool2:
I think maybe I need to stop saying I'll get a computer, and then I'll be able to get one. because all this time that I've been saying I'll get one, I'm not able to get one. It's like reverse psychology. Got it?? Smile and nod.

Smilin' and noddin', PJ!

I'm pretty sure that I would just be fiscally irresponsible and go put a new laptop on my credit card (knock on wood).

We're glad to see you when you can pop in!!!

Marita - Sorry your seminar was a bust. I tried a Reuben sandwich from a new deli that our secretary went to for lunch today. It was good enough that we'll be going there again to pick up lunch :thumbsup2

Well, my DD thought her interview went OK today. She'll be back home tomorrow night.

Not gonna lie, that option has crossed my mind more than once. I'm trying to be good here, Moo, and you're not helping!!!

However, if you would like to put my laptop on your credit card, I don't believe I would have an objection to that.

Just to clarify, Peej - I would only do that if I found myself in that circumstance ;)

But I'd be happy to make a small donation to your cause!

We need to "Pass the Hat" and take up a collection for the "Get PJ a 'Puter Fund". ;)

Glad to see ya'. My two year old germ monsters haven't given me anything yet. Although, I guess it's a goog thing I'm on an antibiotic from my surgery last Friday. Maybe that will keep me germ free for......maybe a week? :rotfl:

So, how are you on the DIS if you don't have 'puter access at school, PJ? You at the library, borrowin' a friend's 'puter, or what?

Stay well, Allie!

Marita - I just saw on the Codes and Rates board that there is a pin code e-mail for free dining that goes beyond the 9/28-10/1 deal. The new dates are 11/9-11/22, and 12/14-12/20

Maybe it falls during a time when it would benefit MommyP or Mony. But I think you have to pay rack rate on your room to get the free dining.

If I lost my computer, I would go beg and borrow if I had to. (Notice I omitted steal!).

I am prepared to run to the nearest store with credit card in hand!

I love my computer, all my friends live there!

Thanks, Rumbly Tumbly!

Stay well, Allie!

No worries. :goodvibes Miss Allie makes every two year old wash their hands when they come through her bathroom. That washes all their little germs away. :thumbsup2 Like I said the antibiotics run through Thursday, so I ought to have some reserves there. Although, I am really tired of wearing this compression hose in this 90+ degree AL heat! :scared: I think we are supposed to cool down tomorrow, so it won't be so bad. Plus, I've been through this before, so I know it is short lived. It's just hot, and I feel like someone hit my left calf with a baseball bat! :headache: I just keep telling myself that I will have beautiful legs when it is all done. :cool2:

:cutie:
Mony, BH, et al - Sorry to hear about all the allergy problems. I'm sure glad I don't have hay fever. Several of my coworkers are suffering lately.

Hi Moo, its like this every year till the first hard freeze allergies are the pitts.

Peejay- I'll donate hugs toward your computer... It's all I can afford. Maybe I'll charge money for hugs? :sad2: Then I can get my own laptop TOO!

Moovers-T-minus 4 days till someone's birthday :cool2: Hoping for lots of nice-ish virtual giftage. And one real life huge birthday wishing candle!

I kind of had a cushie day today with Poohgirl and Blowout Boy gone and the other baby stayed home...just Norah and one other daycare buddy and I went to Misty's to scrapbook. It was a fun few hours! She's going to Forks Washington through the 14th because the 13th is Bella's birthday (from Twilight!) DANG! No real life BFF to bring me cake that I cant eat! ;)

I have a cool spooning pigs picture from the Utah State Fair from Sunday. As well as a baby piglets picture. Riley used to pronounce piglet like this; "Blib-blip" AWWWWW! :cutie:

The goat area was icky. I vote I don't like goat lady parts and boy parts. I had to avert my eyes. :scared:

Phelps is on NBC right now....thanks Marita and Wendy...that baby girl loves her car rides....LOL
