Mony! LOL! I guess it shouldn't be funny. But a jelly donut? On the fridge? I am SO thankful that none of my children have climbed on TOP of the fridge. Yet.

But really, no diaper or undies? That's gross.

Big L - That crazy bossman is the craziest! Sometimes I think you really work for Michael Scott. Are you Pam in disguise?

We took Cash to the vet today and had to let her know what's going on with him.
Oh no! Poor Cash! Poor Mari not being with him! :sad1: I know you're taking good care of your grandpup, but I'd feel so guilty for not being there.
Riley! No jumping over fences, no trying to go to the mailbox!!!
I'll be home tomorrow!

Did I ever tell the story of the kid I watched who was always dropped off in his zippered up jammies with no coat in winter, drenched in urine, no underwar/diaper, not potty trained, I had to bath every morning?
I should have known better when we were on the phone interviewing and she lost her son and found him asleep on top of her refridgerator.
O. M. G.

Which brings up another question.
Once your kids are potty trained and are wearing pajama bottoms, do you put underwear on them?
To me it's uncomfortable - so I don't expect the kids to wear them.
plus you have the dilemma of deciding if they are clean or dirty in the morning.
but hayden and camden both wear underwear to bed with their pajamas.
Now if they are wearing a nightgown, I'm all for panties - cuz I don't wanna be flashed.
Opinions?
Hayden said I was weird because I wasn't wearing underwear with my pajama bottoms.
Ha.

:rotfl:

We shower at night. I never allow the children, or Chad to get into beds dirty. So the undies that we put on after showers remain clean until morning and then are worn until showers that night. One of my boys sleeps in nothing BUT his undies. When he spent the night at a friends we had to tell him it wasn't normal to take all his clothes off to sleep and he had to stay dressed. :rotfl:

Do you wear new pajama bottoms every night? If not, :scared:

I can't stand pajama bottoms, it's to stinking hot. So undies are a must.

Morning all,

It is a nice morning here with a little breeze. I might even open my windows today.

Celery-- good question this morning.

Hannah does( none if she had a bath that night) , Nicholas does not. :confused3 It is their choice. I do believe I started them out with no underwear after diapers.

Hannah , I have to watch that she changes them in the morning though, sometimes she tries to get away with not changing.

Unlike Mommy P we do not shower every night. Hubby and I do in the morning and the kids every other night or so. Depends how dirty they get that day....just going to school and playing inside a bit they don't get that dirty...When they were babies they had a bath everynight. Now it is really hard to get Nicholas in the shower he doesn't want too.:sad2:

Interesting topic there cel. Undies? lack of undies? fyi, all people under the age of 18 must wear undies at all times in the bbn house. All people over 18 have the option to do what they please whenever the mood strikes.:upsidedow

Thanks for all the prayers you guys. My mom is doing as well as to be expected.

Nab - My boys play outside everyday. Even if they don't just getting into the car to go somewhere you get sweaty. I hate Florida. I can't wait for winter, I can hardly stand the laundry anymore.

First up.....Cel's question of the day

I always had my kiddos wear skivvies....to bed......I wear a t shirt and a pair of skiv's ......I cant stand a nightgown or a pair of jammies....nope not me...so this 60 year old gramma wears a "T"...

One kid I took care of ....his mom brought two diapers........one in the morning and one in the afternoon......I could not take care of this kid......cause he always pooped two or three times and peed like a race horse......Told the mom....to bring more or else find someone else..
Another mom told me I was not to pick up her baby unless he was being fed his bottle......she was dang weird.......told her find someone else that can go by your rules .cause I sure cant...

But I have had a great group of parents and kiddos that have been here since birth.....one of my rug rats is in junior high now...7th grade and still needs to come over and see me........she was my all time favorite and I cried when she went to kindergarten.......she cried for a whole month at preschool..and when her mom took her out of there ...she said she quit preschool cause Marie would miss me to much......I laughed ...

oh well......back to packing....I am bringing my crocs in case I need to go thru puddles in Disney.....or WAIT......great idea......I will buy a pair of Disney crocs.....with mickey holes.......yah that is what I will do......I am wicked smart...

Very strange. Maybe she should have stayed home to watch her own kid if she didn't want someone else touching him. :confused3

Sounds like a smart idea. :lmao:

some parents are just weird!

hey pumba - I love my mickey crocs, but you can't put jibbitz (the little decorations) in them.

Hi... Ive been in Louisville all week with an extended holiday seeing little Justin off on his first preschool bus ride yesterday...he loves his preschool class and is going all day now....my sister was taking him and picking him up its not that far away just a few miles...although it seemed he got home kinda late at 5;15 and he was the last kid on the bus.

Wow quiet here today!

I spent the day cleaning after a long summer. Stuff no put in the right places, all the floors washed and clean. Now I can just sit and enjoy my clean bottom floor.

Also spend some time playing games...they are evil !!

We had our first bit of homework tonight and first drama on getting it done. Not looking forward to the struggle with homework. Our routine never changes, it is done right when they get home. Nicholas didn't tell me had any until I signed his agenda, then said he left it at school. Back to school he went!! Glad we live close.

Kitchen nightmares revisited is on tonight, starting at 8! The chef goes backto places he's been to before to see how they are doing, I think.

MommyP, yes, I DO NOT like the looks of Ike  one bit! :scared1:

Pumba, I hope Ike  doesn't rain on your parade (or MommyP's or mine, for that matter) Have a great trip!!!!!!

Everybody, please start blowing east! Hard! The huffing and puffing blowing kind, please!

I heard a rumor today that free dining will be offered again for 2 weeks in November and 2 weeks in December, but I have no detail, don't know if that is true. I didn't see anything on the official Disney site.

I'm off to make another batch of chicken a la king, my latest food craze.

GOOD EVENING

No comment of the discussion of underpants. :scared:

Cute stories all around. You know who you are.

Monica...gross, awful story. Give me that baby! He needs a new momma.

BNCG....Your poor mom. Give her a hug for us.

Marita!!!! What about January FREE DINING?! Put in a goog word.

Jack Mormon....Heh. :cool2:

Good night, all.

Gotta throw a dirty kid in the tub. No jelly doughnut attached.

Celery...good thing you put the definition of those decorations in the mickey crocs cause I had NO CLUE what they were.
tahnks for blowing hard and getting rid of Hannah and Ike.......now blow hard

Back to school he went!! Glad we live close.
Stick to those guns, nab!

melinda - do panties make you blush?!?!?!

pumba - yeah - jibbitz is a pretty weird word. :)

marita - my imaginary stalking of WT christmas trip could use free dining!

I can guarantee that imaginary free dining will NOT happen over Christmas break. If anything, more likely early December.

Hear that, Moo?

And really, it's just a rumor so far, I have not seen anything official.

Marita - That would be AMAZING to get free dining in early December! I wonder if they're considering doing that due to the Pop Warner stuff that will be going on.

If it happens, I'll be glad that I still have my ASMovies and Pop ressies. Maybe I should bump up the number of people to three, just in case both Mari and my cousin can join me. But it would mean moving twice if nothing opens up that first weekend :headache: And I would probably have to bring an Aerobed so we could sleep a bit more comfortably. Hmmmmmm . . .

I'm with Lex. No comment on the undies :lmao: But it was an interesting topic of the day, Cel! I hope Mari's not too sad once she finally sees Cash.

MommyP - There is virtually NO availability the second week of December :( I even called AAA last night to see if they might have some rooms left in their block. No luck.

BH - That is an awfully long ride for a little guy. I always thought bus routes should be arranged to even out the amount of time kids have to ride.

Pumba - Fingers crossed for the weather during your trip!!! Be sure to get to the Toy Story Mania ride first thing. Hope our Floridians don't get the brunt of any of the storms either.

We finally had a bit of rain today, but everything is pretty dry. Brace yourself for some wet weather, Nabbie! Hope they go kind of easy with the homework early on.

Mony - A squished jelly donut? Eeeew. Poor little guy. I need to go see if you've been working on your trippie ;)

Moo, my guess that if there are no ressies to be had, it will not be free dining. The idea is to get people on property to go to the parks. They would not offer that due to Pop-Warner.
I repeat, it's a RUMOR!
