Watching Food Network about Fondue.

I have a great reciope for sauce this (well, it's a a mixture of 2 recepies,, so it might be hit or miss). Mushrooms and sour cream and beef broth, with beef. I think I need to make some soon.

I might be getting slightly hungry...

Evening all,

We had a great weekend here. Weather was beautiful for a wedding. My hubby tried to get me drunk but it didn't work... I was to busy socializing with family. Mind you he was feeling no pain. He was the life of the party I tell you.

Kids are bathed and are in bed. Hopefully asleep for there big return to school tomorrow. That means the dreaded lunch making is back. Backpacks weigh a ton since they have to bring extra indoor shoes.

We always measure and weight them before school starts. Nicholas is 5'5 1/4 and weighs a whopping 150 lbs. Up 17lbs from last year and 3 inches taller. I am 5'5 1/2 "s tall. Not telling you my weight... Hannah is 4 feet up 2 1/2" and 65 lbs ( up 8lbs) My kids are getting huge... for 11 and 8.

Marita-- hope all these hurricanes miss you. New Orleans was lucky so far.

Mony-- welcome home!!!

What a good idea!

I am so amazed at how much they grow and how fast

My boys are getting huge and at age 10, Dallen's current shoe size is men's 9 1/2. Yikes! (course, that was one HUGE baby at 9 lbs. 9 oz...thank God for that c-section! *ouch!) He wore size 1 as a new born for only a couple weeks. Size 1 diapers at 2 wks also.

Marita this was Nicholas at the CNE a few days ago. They had all the arm forces there and let the kids try on things, sit in tanks etc. He said the helmet was very heavy and would not be able to wear it long.

To bad I have not.... This is what I wore to the wedding on Saturday.

Marita I found my white sandals when I was on holidays, on clearance at that! Thanks for the website though.

OK, show him this!

Cute dress, Nabbie!

Maybe you can find a shrug or a lightweight blazer or sweater to wear over it next time.

Or do like the teenagers and wear a cami or tank top underneath.

I wish I would have bought some of this when I was there. I was going to go and get it and forgot.

Since I was posting pics. These are for Babynurse...I wanted to bring them all back for her when we were at Chocolate World in Hersey Pa.

This is what Nicholas wanted!! But didn't get.

no way I can keep up with all you guys! I even forgot what I wanted to say to everyone. and I have NO idea how you guys do the "boldface" for the screen name of the person you are responding to. (if I try it, it just comes out in caps) see mony, it runs in the family.

yes, wendy, you do resemble sarah palin, kinda. maybe if she was holding up a diet pepsi?

melinda, you are going in dec? when we did, I packed EVERYTHING!!! and even then, nebo and I had the same conversation everytime we left for the park. "are you wearing shorts, or jeans? I don't know, you? tank top and jacket? t shirt only? I hate to carry a jacket around and not use it. but I hate to be cold during illum. what do YOU think?"
I think I now understand the "backpack" people. you know, the ones that turn 45 degrees sidways in front of you and knock you out?:lmao:

well, just thought I'd check in. no grandaughter yet. they will incude on the 9th if she doesn't make an appearance before that.

Hey, Smidgy, so glad to see you here. I was afrraid you had abandoned our little family.

We have had a streak of totally adorable tread babies here, and looking forward to Princess Neboiesy soonishly. Wih Bells ON! :cloud9:

Smidgy - I have gone in December too, as well as in January, and what Marita said is right! You definitely need to take gloves and be prepared to layer your clothing so you can peel or add, as needed! I remember sweltering during a parade at MK and freezing during Illuminations.

To bold people's names or text, just highlight and press Ctrl B or the B button in the window. Easy peasy.

Marita told me that you've stayed at the Dolphin before - how did you like it? I'm spending part of my December trip there because the on-site hotels were pretty booked up.

Please keep us posted on your grandbaby!!!

minnie moo ok, i tried to "b" thing. hope it works.

we LOVED the dolphin! ok, no Magical express or DDP. BUT, you get extra magic hours. loved the heavenly beds! SO comfy. cheaper than the other epcot resorts, but just a short walk back from epcot.(or boat ride) and a longer walk, or nice boat ride to mgm (sorry, hollywood studios)

we were watching illum. from the bridge between UK and france. in just 10-15 min., we were at the swan for karaoke!!! (you all should hear Nebo sing!, a throaty, sexy voice., but he can "belt it out" rainy night in Ga. by brooke benton is my fav, but I also love bobby rydell's "wild one" or "poor side of town" or "north to alaska")
the grotto pool is great!
eating there, however, is very pricey! ...so... we didn't! we walked to the boardwalk and bought a brat and a corn dog. (bratwurst, not "brat", our "brats" are grown!:lmao: ) or walk to beaches and cream for a burger or sundae. (meet up with marita.. .she's a cheap date, she'll only order water!:rotfl: ) sorry marita, I know you were on short time... couldn't resist.
the lobby is very cool looking. the first stay there, I asked for a free upgrade to a balcony and got it! YAY! didn't tell nebo till he saw it when we walked in the room. ( I was checking in, he was parking the car). second time, not so lucky:sad2: no upgrade to balcony. but the view was just great.
we also liked it cause, at the time, it was the only place you could sstay onsite and still get a smoking room. not sure if it's still the case .
one weird thing... no fridge. (just like at royal pacific at Universal):confused3 but a nice seperate "bar" area... sep. from the vanity.
perfect for manhattan mixings!
oh yeah... they "did away" with the "resort fee" they used to charge, but they still charge to park your car, per day. like, where else are you going to park?
but it still has a warm place in my heart. standing in the walkway between the swan and dolphin, waiting for a boat, great view. and walking distance to the boardwalk if you want to go to jelly rolls or eat at the rests. there.
hope I helped. pm me if you have any other questions.

Hey all. I'm off to the airport at this ungodly hour.

My mom has a virus on her computer - and I think my brother has downloaded some stuff on my home computer and it has spyware and adware now.
good thing I'm never home!

talk to y'all later!!!

Geesh! Your kids are HUGE! Jeremiah is 8 and no more than 46 pounds and I don't think he's even 48 inches yet. Seth is slightly taller. Ethan is 5 1/2 and he's just 40 inches and only 38 pounds. Poor little shrimp. ;)

To bad I have not.... This is what I wore to the wedding on Saturday.
You look gorgeous! What an amazing dress. I'd wear it! It so cute! I have an impossible time finding clothes that I don't pop out of at some point, or that taller people can see down inside of. :rotfl: Especially while I'm BFing. I wear a tank under pretty much everything to keep the girls confined. ;)

.
Winter weather in Orlando is impossible to pack for. Which is why I am thankful for 5 kids, diaper bags, and strollers. ;)

I always fall back on one of two things. 1. Capris, a happy medium, with a tee and light jacket. Then I do the whole tie the jacket around your waist thing, which incidentally hides the whole rear view. Which, for me, is best view in blue jeans, not shorts or capris. ;) 2. Wear shorts and tee and get hubby to buy a WDW sweatshirt for me at night. :lmao:

Today is my first day watching Fallyn. I didn't have to get up until 6. But Isaac was fussing at 5:15, so I've been up since then. Of course, he's back in bed.

Today after school I am sewing. I have tons of silk I am going to do something with. :woohoo:

Just a quick minute to stop in and say hi.

My house has been invaded again with tons of little people.

Including the cryer at 7am. She woke up my whole sleeping family.

My first day of classes start. Biology. Yuck! Wish me luck.

Hi Moo, Cel have a good flight and catch a nap. Nab nice picture very pretty and beautiful family, smidgy, BBN, Wendy, Lexy, Bloodhound, DTD, Wheatie, LilG, is he back? Mommy P, Twinks, Marita December is my absolute favorite time of year to visit Florida.

gotta fly!

First day back to school....:woohoo: Actually this summer went by really fast and no one said they were bored that I can remember.

Mommy P-- I would love to average size children.:lmao: It would be cheaper on clothes since Nicholas has been in men sizes for awhile. Your boys are so darn cute and can wear each others clothes. Forgot to say I loved the coloured diapers that was way cool.

Mony-- have fun with all your rugrats.

Kids were up early this morning they are excited to go back to school.

Thanks for the nice comments. My problem is I am big just not on top so yes people would have been able to look right down.

I have been to WDW at the beginning of Jan. and it was cold. I wish I had my winter coat cold but it was just one day, then it was back to shorts so you never know for sure.

hello everyone.
Thought I would check in and say I wasnt lost.......we went to NH on Saturday to my brother in law and sister in laws pond home.....it was a great cookout and about 20 people there......nice nice day....
The baby is still without a new liver....she is stable and I dont know when they are doing the surgery. The way the text went to my sister, is that if she is stable this week...it will be done.....she has had a rough go of it.....On Thursday she will be 5 weeks old.....thank you all for your continued prayers for the little peanut....
Saturday ...hopefully, we are "leaving on a jet plane".....I liked that song in the old days....now it means YEs we are going to florida.....Hope that Hannah the hurricane behaves itself and the two or three out in the waters stay there.....

Be good everyone

NAB!! Thank you so much for posting those pics. Yummmmmy!! You are the sweetest person. for reals.

And you look just lovely for the wedding. I noticed the toe nails match the dress. excellent.:thumbsup2 Nicholas is getting so big and such a handsome "little" guy.

It was a nice weekend here. A little on the hot side, but Red's bday party went well, then we had a rodeo on Saturday, and I had to work 12 hours on Sunday and yesterday we went to my BIL's and they talked me into playing in my very first fantasy football league ever.

And this pains me to no end, but Tom Brady is my QB. Peyton was already gone, what's a gal to do????:confused3

Gotta work today. y'all behave yourselves.
