Thanks for all the welcome backs. I feel the love...:goodvibes

BH-- I forgot to ask how Mr Murray was....I will send prayers out for him and his family.

Moo-- what tricks and Sukie do now that she "graduated".

Lynette -- I love to move things around too, makes a new room with out the new house. Hope your back feels better tomorrow.

We just got back from picking up Buddy from the in-laws. I don't think they wanted to give him back. They talked about all he did while we were away. The kids weren't leaving him behind again though. They will get him again in Dec for our cruise.

Thanks Nab, they give him maybe six months...the cancer has spread everywhere...plus he is recovering from the hip replacement.

GOOOOD MORNING!

Woke up early, early today. That's not necessarily goog either. I really needed that sleep.

Busy week. Did I tell you I volunteered to be assistant den leader for cub scouts each Tuesday? And I'm still teaching first grade girls on Wednesdays at church.

Tonight is the pack meeting but I may send DH since it is also margarita night with the girls. I NEED a margarita.

No school tomorrow. And Mimi moves to the dorm tomorrow. :sad1: Does anybody know where I can buy pepper spray? Do they sell it at Wal*Mart?

Marita....Impaired and driving in a tropical storm? :lmao: I'm glad you and DD are safe.

NAB....Welcome home! Glad you're back! What do I need to know about Pigeon Forge??? Any tips?

PJ....Good to see you! :teacher:

MommyP....Yo go. I'm scoping out my opportunities to pull a Monica on ya.

Monica....704? Srsly? You're awesome!

Moo....Nebo and Smidgy have stayed at the Dolphin several times. PM them.

Wendee....Sorry you had to be the wordscrapper victim. This time. ;)

Celery
....Thanks for missing me.

Twink & Lynette
.....:wave2:

Pumba
....How's Brielle?

Hound
....Sorry about your friend. Praying!

EVERYBODY HAVE A GREAT DAY!

Does anybody know where I can buy pepper spray? Do they sell it at Wal*Mart?

Don't know if you can get it at Wal Mart, but usually a gun/knife store will have it, or an outdoor/hunting/fishing (i.e. Bass Pro Shop type store) should have it. Oh, also Dick's Sporting Goods, if you have those up there.

I was given yesterday off and got to spend the day with my dad. I had an eye infection the day before, but it cleared up by morning.

p.s. I have 27 second and third graders.

Been there, done that. I taught in a very rural county with tiny schools and my first year I started the year with 18 2nd graders and 4 3rd graders. At the end of the year I had 22 and 9. I taught 3 years and had 2 grades each year, but the other years were more balanced and stable.

wise choice...cause its male inherited gene pool trait ...why fix something if it aint broke :rolleyes1

Thanks Everyone for the continued prayers for Mr. Murry

Hmm...I thought it had more to do with the male motto, "Why get up and do stuff when I'm perfectly comfortable on the couch?"
Both are valid points, but BigL, remember the immortal words of Garth in Wayne's World. "We fear change" He was speaking for all men.

I'm really torn because I was going to go at that time of year anyway and I know she'd be really hurt if I didn't come see her.

So go, but head to MNSSHP right after to get the evil thoughts out of your head!
And tell me how it was. :scared:

1. Actually, I LIKE to move furniture! Sometimes, I just get the urge to move things around, and I don't ever want to wait

2. But you never did answer Moo and Cel's questions: doesn't the Mouse mind if Hollywood is fraternizing with the enemy? She IS still working for the Mouse, right? Or did we miss sumpn?
1. Me too, but getting mostly glass furniture will break you of that habit! I can't even lift my bedframe now! :headache:
2. fer rizzle! She needs to answer!

Hello all!

Woke up late this morning....

Wash is all done :yay: Trailer cleaned out and put away in storage again too. Buddy home check.

Now we have to go school shopping. I'm sure the rest of this week and next will go fast. I like Twinkie have to go shoe shopping. I hate this the most. The school supply stuff is easy.

And a trip to the library today too to return books.

All this is making me tired and haven't even got out the door....

Lexi-- you will love Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. We did like the Dixie Stampede. Wish we would have made it to Wonderworks. The kids wanted to play mini golf too...they are everywhere but didn't get to do that either. Wish we were there longer.

Nab- it is so nice to have you around again!

True dat!
I have a sucky-wife skillz solution that has a 95% success rate: 1.) call a professional, or just get the rates $$$ of a professional to come fix ;) or 2.) attempt to fix it yourself (and do it "wrong") causing either of the following to occur: a professional actually has to be scheduled OR he will be forced to get off the couch and fix himself (at which point it is ill-advised for the wife to comment). 5% failure is when said DH is too lazy to care about whatever is broken.

You thought 384 was cool?

Pshaw!

check it, seven-oh-four sistahs! and brothas!

Wendy I got cha back any day!

I wanna hang with you more!
I literally can not sit today! (may have over done it at the gym yesterday IRL)
Her score is now at 1191 and mine is 268. :headache: UGH!

704 is the queen mother of all Bingos.

You can hang with me anytime!

Hello, y'all! Happy Thursday! It's a beautiful, clear day here! A bit on the coolish side (70s), but gorgeous! Which is nice, since today is a half-day for me at work, as well as the start of my weekend. :cool1:

Yeah, yeah. That's a given. But that doesn't mean that the rest of us want to live a stagnant existence, y'know! I gotta mix it up every now and then!

There's also the method that I employ (with a rather high level of success), which is to threaten that if things aren't changed to my satisfaction with the existing belongings, I'll just go buy all new stuff. Heh. THAT puts the fear of God in DH! :cool2:

Well we got new shoes for the kids one size 2 and one size 11 1/2. It was actually easier then I thought it would be today. Lot of people in the shoe store though so if you liked something you grabbed it.

Also have one backpack and lunch box. 2 pair of cords for Hannah and a Camp Rock shirt from the Disney store( she only likes the Jonas Brothers because her older cousins do). She is a Hannah Montana girl though. They had some really cute princess jeans and t- shirts but she didn't want anything to do with them.... Where did my little princess go!

Nicholas surprised me and wanted nothing today so all he got was shoes. He didn't even want to look in his favourite skate boarding store for clothes.

Now all I need is pencils etc.

It is so quite here today.... Hope everyone is ok and just busy.

Glad you had some fairly good luck shopping, Nabbie! P.U. on the eau du skunk.

A DIS-ish tiara for Mony's super SCORE! Vacation is almost here!

Lynette - Yay for time off work!!!!!!!!!! My BFF at work started working a flex schedule and she had her first day off today. She was pretty excited about it.

Peej - Inquiring minds want to know about Hollywood's new role!!!

I got my car back after work today :yay: It was the turbo coil and wiring harness. My hubby's uncle is going to run it through my service contract. It's nice having a car dealer in the family. It was kind of fun driving a Pacifica for a day, but I missed my little car.

YAY for shorpping success and early off work and car mojo and high Bingo scores!

Since when do ya'll play Bingo? I thought it was just Scrabulous?

I dont have anything today. Fay is lingering around like an uninvited relative, pouring rain on and on and on......
Not too bad here, just light to medium rain constantly, occasional gusts of wind, but the poor people on the coast are gettng pounded! 25" of rain in 3 days or so, flooding all over! Afternoon TV shws nothing but weather anymore. I read today some areas are getting 6 months or rain in 3 days.

The boss sent an email this morning re: the birth of his child:
Allison Mary was born yesterday afternoon. Mom and baby are fine.

Great detals, huh?

Just like a man! Anyway, he is out for 2 weeks.

No details, Marita?! Weight? Length? Hair color? :lmao:

Well, at least things went well with the birth.

Try to stay dry! My friend who lives near W. Palm Beach e-mailed me yesterday and said the canal came way up in her yard, but fortunately receded and didn't ruin her new citrus trees.

No details at all, Moo! What I wrote is what we got!
Glad for your friend!

Tomorrow is the last day for an associate at our sister resort. So that leaves them with the boss out for 2 weeks, one associate about of about 2 or 3 months, and an analyst of 2 weeks, brand new the company. And the analylst that was there before only was there for 2 months before he got transferred. Fun times! I got a question today, and I had no idea, i's not my resort......

So anyway, tomorrow is the last day for the associate, so I am thinking we might go out to lunch (own dime, ie: NOT a Disney place), or maybe go get ice cream.

Oh, unrelated thing. I had a meeting this morning, and got to work after that around 12:15 or so. Not a single parking space to be found. Nothing, NADA. Except way far by the DVC Villas. I cruised for a long time all over the place for a parking space, finally grabbing a spot way off by the villas.
So I decided to get a sandwiich form the Marketplace on the way. since I was out that way
. It was crazy busy!!
I saw the manager there, and he said the doubled the budget for the last 2 days.
Rain=shopping frenzy!

GOOD MORNING!

I woke up late. No school today.

Mimi is moving. Or maybe just taking a coupla suitcases today since we can't move the big stuff today. I told her to go ahead and get there and spend the night. (aka meet people since her boyfriend is outta town)

Allie....Thanks for the heads up on the pepper spray! :thumbsup2

Everybody!.....:wave2:
