Hi, all . . . I'm baaaack! Had quite a late meeting last night and didn't get home until after midnight. Our garage door opener had broken, so hubby had locked our door and I didn't get the voice mail message. Goog thing I had my house key with me Fortuitously, DH's dad found a Kenmore garage opener still in the box at a garage sale recently for $5!!! So he's working on installing that today and tomorrow.

And being locked out is one my nightmares! Glad you got in!

I was locked out about a year ago. I spent the night at my son's and he drove he home. th ekeypad on the garage door opener wasn't working and I didn't realize I had no house key (who goes in the front door? ) my car was locked in the garage, so I had no transportation! he drove me to the house I had to clean and I had a friend come pick me up. but I still needed to nap so I could tend bar till 1AM that night. I was going to nap by her and have nebo pick me up at her house, but she made a "suggestion"" leet's get a new battery for the keypad.... viola!!! such a simple solution... I always say "don't confuse me with logic!"

nnno more filets at ANY disney restaurant! the one at Maya Grill at CSR was so tender you could cut it with a fork!

So I was gonna sleep in today and I woke up earlier than I have all week!

Got lots to do here at home since the kids have been here destroying the house all week while I was at work.

I woke up earlier than I have all week too and I stayed up late last night.

Today is last day at the antique mall for awhile an I go back home to Fort Knox

I sooooooo wanted to sleep in today too......but hubby got up at five thirty so he could be first in line to have a hair cut.....the hairdresser opens up at six on Saturdays.....He has been going to this place for the last fifteen or so years...SOOOOO anywhoooo.....the dog was angry that he went out without putting his plate on the floor for her to lick so she started to bark at him......this is all at quarter of six........I did manage to go back to sleep but then hubby returned at quarter past six........geesh...give me a break.

Oh something really unusual happened......THE SUN appeared for the first time in a long long time........alot of photos in the newspaper of all the flooded out roads and broken bridges.......just a little rain they said....yah right.....hope that the water recedes in all the streams and rivers and people can get back to their homes..

my little great niece who is one week old was rushed to the hospital a few days ago.....she is in baby icu still......low oxygen levels and fever...just a little squirt.....please keep Brielle in your prayers .....she is only a little 5 and a half pound peanut........thanks

Good morning. We're off to bring Chad's motorcycle into Harley to get fixed. His muffler fell off and it's running like crap. I told him that we HAVE the buy our next vehicle new with warranty because we just are doomed when it comes to vehicles.

It's raining today, which will make it more bearable outside, but loading up 5(3 of which are in car seats) children in the rain isn't the best thing to be doing.

I wish we already had our next vehicle(probably a 12 passenger van since we plan on having more children) because then you could get in shut the doors and THEN strap them in.

Last night I whipped together a fleece set for Isaac in like 30 minutes.

A fitted diaper that is WAY to big. The pattern is stupid. Next time I'll turn and top stitch instead so I can loose some of the size. It will never fit him I'm sure. LOL. It's like a size 5. None of my boys went beyond a size 3 before they potty trained. One day I Might take the serging out and redo it. It's such a cute flannel.

My friend Jennifer has 7 kids and they have a 12 passenger van. It's not too bad, just hogs gas like my Suburban. In Utah, those are semi-common.

I got my carpet put in in the basement this morning!

And I found red In Step jogging stroller off of craig's list for 28.00. It was even in monymonyville.

I can't wait to take it to the track later at the middle school and really test it out with Madelyn.

I have a carpet to vaccuum and a basement to set up fresh!

We currently have sun, but read storms are on the way!

Lexi, your house is nothing compared to mine at the moment, I'm sure. Suitecases and bags and stuff all over the place. Need a pair of shiny patent leather military dress shoes? Right here on the living room chair!
A pull-along cooler? Right by the fireplace! A caddy with kitchen tools? On the coffee table! right next to a lint roller and a big old German Beer Stein. A pair of navy blue dress pants? Right over there on the kitchen chair

But sadly, that will all be gone in a few short hours

Wow, people got up early today. I did too (for me for a weekend) Crack of 9 am, so I could go to breakfast with the family (sans DD) and FIL. Went to IHOP and had the most HORRIBLE service ever! It took literally almost 40 minutes to get food! Good thing we were not there to eat, just to visit with grandpa.

DS is off now to pick up his new(ish) car (again!). Turns out it wasnt the compressor after all that cause the A?C to die, just some valve something. And the moonroof and lock problems were due to an "uninitiated"(?) key the former owner apparently hadn't used. Still, DS lost several hours of his days off due to this. GRRRRRRRRRR!

So now my next worry is having BOTH my kids driving to Texas and getting there by Sunday night That's an 18 hour drive without stops! Scares the daylights out of me! Last night I looked up St. Christopher (Saint of the travellers) online, and the only thing I could come up with on short notice was a small picture of him carrying by Jesus on his shoulder through a river. It was in color even. So I went to print out 2 copies of a 3 page article just to get 2 little 1x1 1/2 pictures (which came out black and white, GRRRR!). Anyway, I cut them out, slapped a return maling label on the back, and wrote our home phone number under that. I gave 1 to each of the kids and told them to put them in their wallets, and dont give me any lip! DS was good. I only got slight grumblimg from DD (what does it have that my driver's license doesnt?) Well, our PHONE NUMBER, for one Anyway, I think she put it in her wallet. Now, I am not ordinarily a religious person, so that was kind of out of the oridinary for me.

DH just informed me that he sees no issues with them driving all the way straight through and maybe catchiing a couple hours sleep at a reststop.
I'm going to be a wreck till they get there
