I had my young helper come in to help today. She watch the kids outside for a few hours while I power cleaned the house.

I deligate chores quite nicely (my boys put clothes away and cut the grass) and I got floors swept and mopped.

A few more loads washed, windows cleaned and one bathroom cleaned.

Oh and I even got to vacuum the stairs.

Some things even got dusted!

SO Chris finally got up today and out of the house. He bought a used BMW SUV (to lug his stuff around the country) from my BIL yesterday (BIL is LONGTIME and very reputable car salesman at a top notch dealership).
So said Vehicle has 14,400 miles on it, and cost $29K. On the way home, the A/C died, and the moon roof didn't work, and the remote lock didn't work either. So he went to have it checked out or get another car. Hope it works out, he leaves for a 20+hour drive to Texas this weekend!

I finished my sister's "hooter hider" today. lol. Stupid name. Let's just call it a nursing cover up. I did copy the hooter hider design though.

I also finished my hybrid pouch ring sling. It's so pretty! Perfect too. The easiness of a pouch and the adjustability of a ring sling. Yay!

Chad's home early today. Yay! Very nice since he hasn't gotten home before 7 all week.

we were under flood watch again today......I had to make sure my daughter in law got home okey cause she came down to visit us by the road near the rivers......scared me......hubby made it home too......we are so wet and even the air smells mildew ....outdoors....

I had to go out and hold the big golfing umbrella over Megaras head today so she would go potty outdoors.......it was coming down that hard,...she is a wicked big sissy....

we are going to get time warner cable, internet and phone service in a few weeks.......they are coming to hook us up the 23rd.

next weekend is our Annual balloon Festival......I hope we have good weather cause this is the most awesome thing around.....waking up to swooshing noises at five thirty am.......cause those giant balloons are going over our house.......awesome site

Hi, all . . . I'm baaaack! Had quite a late meeting last night and didn't get home until after midnight. Our garage door opener had broken, so hubby had locked our door and I didn't get the voice mail message. Goog thing I had my house key with me Fortuitously, DH's dad found a Kenmore garage opener still in the box at a garage sale recently for $5!!! So he's working on installing that today and tomorrow.

DH is home and resting. He got an earlier flight. I'm just glad he's home and safe. sigh.

We decided to through one big party for the August birthday's at our house on the 17th. You are all invited. Just bring your own chairs, I may run out.

We now have a leak in the trailer too and it is heavy rain too. We may float away...

Also almost got t-boned this morning just after we got on the road. Scary stuff. Hubby just let on the horn and because he saw the guy coming right at us.

We got an email saying they are refunding our wrong cruise..... and Hannah won at chocolate bar Bingo this afternoon so all is not bad .....

I was having a lovely time watching the show until 5 mns ago. when all of a sudden the entire family (except me) decided it was bedtime

Breakfast with Grandpa tomorrow, I was threatend that I would get 1 or mayby 2 wakeup calls, so I guess I better go soon too.

I thought the caps for the Americans were kind of hokey looking, sorry to say!

It's not really about having breakfast with grandpa,(DH does that all the time) more about having the family together before DS heads off to Texas ( and DD with him for a few days) TOMORROW
