I have an OB apt on the 13th and I called them to avoid having to make an apt with some new regular Dr. I love my OB, they sent a script to the lab so all I have to do is go to the lab this week for a blood draw and they will have my results at my apt on the 13th. Makes me want to have another baby so I can go there monthly.......

My daughter's Master's degree is in City & Regional Planning aka Urban Planning. But she is interested in sustainable agriculture/local food systems and wants to find a job in that area, which I think is what is proving to be rather difficult. She may just have to try to find an entry level job in the general field to get some experience so she's more marketable in her area of interest.

Hope tomorrow is less boring

My real internet access in my apartment will be set up next Wednesday. You have to be in your house for them to come and I'm in this dang orientation every day from 8:30-4:30 so it had to be pushed to next week. Perhaps the walk to the clubhouse is good for me since I can't seem to find somewhere to run here.

Re: the cat. The cat was lurking on my aunt's porch since May. She finally decided she was going to take it to a shelter. So, I said I would take it. He's brown and black with white paws and a white belly. The obvious names such as Boots and Mittens simply won't do. I want to name him Pluto, but that might be a little too goofy....
Or maybe Captain Jack Sparrow. Or maybe Oliver.

I just can't get up in the mornings. Can't get DS to bed early enough to suit me. Today is his REAL birthday. Eight years old already.
