Hey :welcome: back Lynette. Sorry you got sick.

Maddy started crawling AND is saying Mama.

There's a crawling video some pages back.

Oh look Wheat Thins is back too!

It just wasn't the same without you.

I bet.

Hi monymony3471. I've always thought that had a certain ring to it. Monymony3471. Catchy.

Wheat Thins

Because I am so very nice, I'll just post them here for you!

and my favorite

Cute kid.

1. Whose foot is in that pic AND what is wrong with person's voice talking in that video?

2. Quit trying to confuse the kid. He clearly said DaDa. And not MaMa.

Sheez. Some people's parents.

Wheat Thins

Twinks - While wheatie pie makes a good point (ha. yeah, right), do not underestimate the ease of quick counting matchy matchy shirts allow.
After all, you DO have one million children - all of which are incredibly gifted with athletic, gymnastic and ninja skills -
so being able to do that quick "Ok. I see 4 (million) bright orange shirts - the tallest kid (DH) and one of the middle ones is missing. Let's scan the area" mental dialogue will help IMMENSELY.
If you DON'T have matchy matchy shirts, it will go like this:

"One left. Hmm. He/She IS my favorite. I guess that's good enough. The rest can be It's a Small World dolls. Cuz they need more ninjas in that ride. Chef Mickey's is callin my name!"

Hi to everyone else!

Hee hee.:lmao: I was only going to quote the funny part but this whole post is funny. Good idea on the mental dialogue. I better make my own shirts because if I use disney store ones I might come home with a few extra kids who just happen to be dressed the same.

14. THAT my green cruchcy unmedicated friend is the lamest MSO I have ever witnessed.
Ack. How can I make t-shirts when you write stuff like this?

Because I am so very nice, I'll just post them here for you!
Ohh! She is sooooooooo cute! What a doll!!! Goldenchild likes the crawling one and keeps saying "we have that baby"

Mony-- awww thanks for the encore she is still beautiful.

W.T's -- so where is our trip report. Are you peeling from you sunburn?

Twinkie-- are you home now? I am still running around daily doing kids sports.

I am on the hunt for white dressy sandals that don't have a 4" heel on them. I don't know how anyone can wear those things. I want them for a wedding next month so they have to be comfortable and low heeled. Hannah loves looking at shoes , me not so much.

Lots of summer clearance stuff though and back to school stuff out even though we don't go back until day after Labour day. Hannah has her eye on a Hannah Montana backpack.

Give Hannah a few extra chores to earn that backpack and she might just enjoy much more

BH-- they get an allowance that they have to bank some, save up for something, vacation and me. They both are pretty good at it.

We supply clothes and school stuff. Well in Nicholas's case he has to buy his next shoes because he never undoes the laces so he broke down the backs of them . Plus he wants an expensive of pair of skate shoes.

Hannah is pretty good she gets two years or more out of her backpack so I can't complain. Nicholas has had to get a new one every year because the zippers go or he tries to put a basketball or soccer ball in it and busts the seams.

My parents taught me to save money very good as well..they only money I really spent was on my coin and stamp collection..I started doing yard work for dad at age ten after he taught me to mow an started doing yard around us and saved enough to buy my own mower before too long....then when I was about 17 I had saved enough to buy my first car $850 in 1978 and then buy the time I was 22 I had saved enough for a huge downpayment on my first house and had it paid off in a couple years by selling of my coin and stamp collections. The I stared an Antiques business an Ive been broke ever since 1998....lol

1. Big L liked it, therefore it was funny AND made sense. See?

2. I ignore the stuff I don't like that people say. princess:

1. ::yes::

2. Me too. Heh.

Uhhh. Don't you think you missed someone in your list of people who "popped" in?

Wheat Thins

Hmmm...lemme look.

Oops, my bad! Hi Mony! Great to see you! That Maddy is so cute I could put her on a cracker and eat her for lunch! Hee! Love those cheeks!

Hiya, NAB! I had the same problem with Boris' backpacks until I got him one form LL Bean. They're a great investment, since they last practically forever. They have a nice selection of styles and sizes, and the company really stands behind their products. Spendy, but well worth it!

I bet.

If the ringing in your ears is bothersome, Monica works just fine.

I know!

1. Tim's. Occupational hazard. And if Dads paid attention more, it's called Mommy talk.
2. Ah, he's a she. You clearly need thicker lenses.

DaDa always comes first, then MaMa. I need HER to understand who she can always count on. See remark below.

Ohh! She is sooooooooo cute! What a doll!!! Goldenchild likes the crawling one and keeps saying "we have that baby"

That's so sweet! I love Goldenchild so much.

About the teaching your child to say DADA. They have to know how to say Mama cause when they do say DADA, DAD only cares the first time and the rest gets tuned out like everything else.

I missed you too Twinks.

Great to have some snarkiness back here on the place where cows graze, the word for which escapes me at the time (yeah, I KNOW!, LOL)

Lexi, hope you had a great first day at work today!

Lynt, great you feel better!

Cel and WT, glad you're back.

Hi to everyone else! OK, lazy shoutout, but it's late!

I had a low key day at work. Outran the storm this afternoon, left 15 minutes before normal, although I caught aabout a 10 minute stretch of blinding downpour. But I missed the worst of it, it was lookng really bad behind me.
I decided that part of the problem is that my windshield needs cleaning No wonder I feel like I can't see........:sad2:

DD's BF returned from one of 3 summer trips today, so she moved back with him. So I am childless again. No word from DS this week(to me that means dear son, not Disney son), he is probable either sleeping or studying in a tent somewhere in the wilderness right now. Or getting eaten by mosquitos, or all of the above.

Speaking of Mosquitos, I saw part of an article in the paper this morning. All the foreclosed homes with pools means breading grounds for mosquitos. I didn't read it, no time,

Oh, and if you haven't heard, LTT is getting rid of characters in January, and so is Grden Grill. But price (at least at LTT) goes up by $1, with the same menu. At least according to what was in the dining res system this afternoon, per our resident reservationist. And Fantasmic goes down to twice a week starting January (most of the year, except for peak seasons)

Had lunch at ESPN Zone today (out of pocket). I had the Reuben, and it was really good. So if you find yourself there at some point, try it.
Also, we had a discussion today re; The Wave, the new restaurant that replaced the Steakhouse at the Contemporary. Apparently giving some headaches to the local Finance folks there. (Not unexpected for a new place).
But we looked up reviews, and it's getting great reviews from what I saw. We decided to try it for next team occasion. Also still nothing on the menu sounds great to me (might be all the healthy options), but the dessert option sounds intriguiging. Selection of 3 out of 12 "bites of 2 morsels" of different things. And breakfast got a great review,
OH, and the AllEars reviewer voted it the best burger at Disney

cutbacks were bound to happen at our happy place ...LTT has great food and service we really enjoyed it...but cutting back on Fantasmic really hurts(coulnt you pull some strings on this one?)

No, no strings. You just have to plan for it. I have never seen it yet, LOL
Also, depending on when you go, there might be more shows.

Quickish late night fly by. I spent part of the evening at my reflexology appointment and part of the evening with my sister and her other half-siblings who are doing a vigil for their dad at hospice. Thankfully, her dad's c-diff infection cleared up and he doesn't seem to be in pain - it's just his time.

Lex, sorry to hear about your neighbor :sad1: Sending some prayers. I can sort of relate this week, given my sister's situation.

Hope your new job goes well :)

On a more positive note, at least my knee is feeling less sore today.

Did you all hear Jay Leno is leaving in May of next year? Conan is going to relace him. Some rumors that Jay might jump to ABC.
