Happy Birthday Moo

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, Everyone!!! For all the birthday greetings, cakes, balloons, and COWWWWWS!!!!!!!!!!!

bbn, Sukie would look SO cute in that cow outfit! :lmao:

Cel - The dancing Moo cow cracks me up!!!

I just got back from my birthday dinner a little while ago. I was late arriving to dinner because my doctor's appointment ran long due to having my knees x-rayed :( so I brought home part of my dinner and just finished eating it. Yum. We went to Carrabba's.

The doc doesn't think think I tore my meniscus, but I likely "chafed" it, so hopefully, it will calm down if I take it easy for a while. Maybe the cortisone will help too.

YES!!! ;)

Nope. It's Wheatie Pie's attempt at humor. :sad2:
Just as I suspected, LOL!

My current bee in my bonnet is t-shirts for my upcoming trip. A graphic designer, I am NOT. Ugh.
Maybe you can put in a request to rumblytumbly, Twink! :thumbsup2

Melnda - Looking forward to having you back home  Hope your car issues are fixed soon.

Wendy - WELCOME BACK!!! :grouphug:

Moo, glad your knee is in better shape than you thought!:thumbsup2

I only ate at Carraba's once, and forgot what I had, but I remember we shared calamari with DD and DS and DBF.

So after DD ate the leftover chicken a la king tonight, I put my thinking hat on! I had my heart set on more CAK! I know I had seen a package of chicken breast strips in the freezer, and another jar of pimentoes in the cupboard. So I made another batch! DD had 2 more servings of the new batch too! (Dessert size, she is living the helthy liifestyle (read fat free everything, UGHH)
But she skips the toast to be served on, which to me is almost the best part. So anyway, I had some after all and a bunch left over for tomorrow.

We have a meeting at Boardwalk tomorrow morning, so I am contemplating getting a panini sandwich from th boardwalk bakery for lunch tomorrow. (OK, maybe not, sounds not so enticing to me)

I guess DS is roughing it about now. No word from him since Saturday.

Thanks, Steph and Cel's Mama! :goodvibes

Marita, you know we are continuing to think good thoughts and send prayers for your son :grouphug:

I had the Spedini di Mare (sp???) - grilled shrimp and scallops with breadcrumbs and a lemon butter sauce and a really small side of fettucine alfredo. Their house salad has a creamy parmesan dressing and is delicious. Yes, I know - a bazillion fat grams, but SO good. I had a mini tiramisu for dessert and a citrotini with limoncello in it.

Is anyone watching that new Brooke Knows Best show? I have to admit to being kind of interested in it after seeing her in person at WDW last September. My sister and her friend told me at dinner tonight that her new gay roommate is from Clare, Michigan. I feel bad about the troubles her family has gone through . . . it must be so hard to live in the spotlight like that.

Hope you had a nice birthday Cheryl. Glad you didn't seriously mess your knee up.

There are 4 boys camping out in the backyard in our tent. I did not approve this, DH did who is up stairs watching TV and oblivious to all the "noise" outside.

OHHHHHH I am not happy about this.

And it's raining.

Happy Birthday, Moo!

I made you a cake:

Hope your day was relaxing and fun!

Heya to the rest of you Moovers!

I dragged myself back to work this morning. Ugh. Not fun. And certainly not improved by the fact that I now have a stuffy nose and a monster-sized headache that won't quit. DH is sick too, but thankfully the kids have avoided this cold so far.

Gotta get my pics organized in Snapfish so I can post some here (yeah, I know you're all on the edges of your seats  ). For now, I'm gonna mosey over to Facebook and catch up on my games. I'll be back in a bit.

Hey, what's up with that SnarkBritches smiley? You KNOW we all want to see pics! HARUMPH!

PS: Celerymama, look at you you going to town with those smileys! MOOOO HOOOO!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks, Mony and Lynette! Cute cake, L :)

Mony - Sorry to hear it is raining there again. We had a shower 4ish before I left work. Wonder if the boys will wimp out ;)

Lynette! So sorry to hear you have a cold. Glad it waited until you were home though as I'm usually sick DURING my WDW vacations. Get some vitamin C and/or Airborne going, toot sweet!

And, YES! I agree with Marita. We do want to see some pics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Moo!

Guess what I just noticed.

Today is an even 4 years until retirement!
:yay: :yay: :yay:

Over a year since you first posted it. Amazing how time flies!

Thats so soooo good...man I would be so hungry after reading that but I just had a huge bowl of Breyers Oreo Ice Cream :rolleyes1

and :woohoo: on only four more years

Hi, Lynette, I hope you feel better soon...summer colds are horrible in all this heat.

Twink - Maybe you could buy some shirts though a Disney store or the on-line Disney shopping link. Not sure if you have a Disney store in your neck of the woods any more - ours closed a few months ago. But they had goog prices on matchy-ish character t's and everyone could get their fave characters for reasonable prices and they were all a similar style white t-shirt. But I would imagine that you might have a bit of trouble getting your hubby to wear something like that.

Alternatively, you could have a red day, a blue day, a green day, a Hawaiian day, and so on . . . and just wear clothing that you already have in those colors. I did this with my girlfriends for our 50th birthday trip and it worked pretty well. And we all had matching trip buttons that I made for us to wear. As well as some Red Hat scarves  Our group photos turned out OK even though we didn't all wear the same exact colors and some wore prints vs. solids.

Goog idea- of course it is hampered by my extreme frugality (I want the 5 dollar sale rack shirts in the colors/characters and sizes I want)...... anyway has anyone seen GoofyDad- I feel he should chime in here with an opinion on matchy-matchy vs matchy ish..... or maybe we should save all that material for the BBN/Peej TR?

You would be surprised. He likes Disney stuff in the parks but not matchy or even matchyish stuff.

That is an idea. Except for my mom, my sister and I all wear black all the time.

This actually worked pretty well for photos.

Aha. That is what is actually driving this whole thing. Last time we went the kids had matching collegiate sweatshirts and the pictures looked really good. Maybe I should go that route- men don't mind matching in the name of team spirit... hmm......
