Earlier this week, DH received an Applebee's gift card from a neighbor he has been helping with DVD Recorder installation and operation issues, so we went out to eat tonight. Their menu has changed a fair amount and I thought their food was pretty decent this evening!

Poor Nicholas is having a tough week. First the sun got him on Monday, fell off his bike Tuesday and now I think he has either an ear infection or strep. And we are going camping tomorrow too.

hey I moved all my stuff over here too...
We had to do the shopping for Saturday's family gathering at our house. 26 people had replied and the rest somehow FORGOT......so I have to assume that they may show up and if they do......I will have enough food......finger rolls, a few pasta salads, chips and dips, pickles and olivers, fruit salad and mini pastries which I could make a meal of all by themselves.....YUMMY.....so anywhooooo.....I am here and my bags were heavy to make the trip.......

DS leaves for the beach this afternoon and Emily returns from camp tonight. Mimi never goes anywhere but still I see her the least of all of them. Anyway, I'm just hoping the baby doesn't get homesick while he's gone. I'm driving down on Wednesday with DH maybe.

There was a nasty smell coming from my car yesterday. I was fairly certain there were dead fish under the hood and a yucky pool of liquid formed once I parked. DH thinks it's the power steering fluid so I need to find out what's going on with that before next week....preferably today.

Lynette....Are you packed? Are the kids too excited to sleep? When does our flight leave? Sunday?

MommyP.....Mei Tei say that is a gorgeous wrap and fits beautiful Poppins children of (almost) all sizes.

Pumba....Make that 27 on Saturday. I'm coming too.

NAB....Poor Nicholas! His week can only get better. Have fun camping? I'm not a camper.

morning everyone..

The gathering is sort of my MIL's favorite thing to be at. A mini family reunion. There were not alot left in her family so we are trying to keep the family up to date on each other and possibly know that getting together without it being a funeral is great fun. MIL has a living sister that is in her 80s and a brother that is in the early 80s...One bil of hers is having a hard time getting going so this is a good idea in my book.......We do miss mil so much. Its been a year since everyone go together for her funeral She would of had a great time.

Just finished my eye drops and shoot forgot my meds for the morning. Better do that and get the rest of the house fixed up.

someone asked a question on the restaurant board if in AK Mcdonalds still have their place at Restaurantasaurus? Does anyone know....appreciate any answers to help other dis'ers out......

Busy day today, last swimming lesson for now....take Nicholas to the doctor and pack the trailer by 4:00 I am told.

Lexi-- believe me camping isn't my thing but some would say that with this trailer it isn't really camping.... We did start out with a tent, then tent trailer I tell everyone I did my dues.

Pumba-- How are your eyes now. Do you have perfect vision now? Your party sounds like fun.

Mony-- hope you get the answers your looking for from the Dr. How is Tim doing? How is your back?

Any other kids have summer reading lists? DD is reading about a book a day - she is into series, right now its a Sammy Keyes thing... went to the library yesterday, and lots of her classmates were asking her what to read!!
