It's been really quiet so far, barely any rain or wind. Now they say around 8pm tonight. Hubby got home a little while ago and put the patio stuff in the garage, then going for a nap till 6pm, he has to be at work at 8pm.

Just got an email from the boss, his wife is going to be induced tomorrow, and he is staying home with her today. I asked him if they are going to call her FAY. No answer ........

Fay is a goog name for a girl!! BTW my Aunt's name is Wilma - she is older than that hurricane by the same name... hope I didnt confuzzle y'all!!

Thanks all for the pixie dust for my daughter! I'm going to see if I can get some of my work friends together to grill her with some potential interview questions later this week. She has the option of using Powerpoint for her presentation during the interview.

Debating on heading to Indy Friday - and apparantly fdil kicked DS out of the condo till he gets a job! He's had interviews and promises... Loewes just opened here, and wanted to hire ds as a "security theft person" but he went thru the interviews, and was told they'd call him for orientation "next week" He has called, and called, that lady is "on vacation"... 2 weeks later, no job. Monday went on a job... he's one of 6 they'll let him know! And he applied to be a Teacher Assistant - but they wont contact him until AFTER the 25th...

she doesnt intend to support him!! (ok, now how can you argue with that?! DS is very shy!! He has a hard time going in to places... she specifically told him, they are NOT breaking up - he just needs to get a job!)

I think the game board for the high-scoring word is one that was randomly made by Wordscraper and it includes quadruple word score tiles.

I prefer using the fake Scrabble board that I created for us on there (which, I'm sure is the workaround that the Scrabulous guys intended to flip the bird to Hasbro)!!!

Wendy - I don't really "get" a lot of the trailer spoof . . . probably because I've not read the books nor watched the real trailer

Wendy set me up, high five Wendy, and left me with 3 4W tiles in a row.

I can still try to fit in a showing with you if you want while I am in Disney, again. (tee hee)

I'm trying so hard to edit the video of the kids figuring out the surprise and it keeps freezing on me and i have to restart it, so frustrating, but I think i'm almost halfway done.

Oh and Tim's other surgery is set for sept 10th. (3 days before a certain someone's birthday)

DTD...sounds like the fair is going well. I was supposed to take my class there on a field trip Thursday but they have since lost that privilege. Call me a mean teacher, but they so totally deserved it. They earned that one.

We have a field trip coming up in September and you better believe they'll keep their little selves in order or that one will be cancelled too. And I've made them well aware of that fact. All has gone quite well since then, actually. Is bribery frowned upon or something?
