Happy birthday, Marita!!!!!!!!

Hope you're filling your after-work time with bum-laying and laptop time! ;)

Melinda, I dread the day when I have to go back to work full-time. Ugh! Just the thought! :faint: I'd rather eat a Brillo sandwich!

Sandy, sending prayers that things start looking up for you.

MommyP, nice job on the baby paraphernalia! Betcha you could sell those at craft fairs and the like, if there are any in your area.

BBN, I'm sure you never needed slings...with your mad babynursing skillz, you prolly balance those babies on your head!

Hound, ready for the SYTYCD results show? popcorn::

The season premiere of another great show, Burn Notice, is on USA at 10 tonight. Does anyone else watch?

OK, it's 9:30 on my birthday and I just finished work for today.
Plus now I have to go in to work tomorrow, and still no dinner!

AND, today of all days, the Style section of my newspaper was missing, so I don't know what is in store for me for next year, LOL! I'll try to look it up online.

Alles Gute zum Geburtstag! Marita!

And, since so many Moovers are from nearby, a short history of the song.
Happy Birthday to You, the four-line ditty was written as a classroom greeting in 1893 by two Louisville teachers, Mildred J. Hill, an authority on Negro spirituals, and Dr. Patty Smith Hill, professor emeritus of education at Columbia University.
The melody of the song Happy Birthday to You was composed by Mildred J. Hill, a schoolteacher born in Louisville, KY, on June 27, 1859. The song was first published in 1893, with the lyrics written by her sister, Patty Smith Hill, as "Good Morning To All."
I went to a concert in the park, a Big Band event. It's a perfect evening, about 76 degrees and a few passing clouds. Lots of Benny Googman and Count Basie with a little Glenn Miller thrown in.

I'm just passing through. I didn't read back. So if I missed your momentuous occasion, I apologize in advance.

Just wanted to say....

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MARITA!!!
