Wendy - What kind of sewing machine would I need if I need to get one because my Mom's is stupid?

Here are kitty pics. I'm so glad getting the little kitty worked out and they are friends. Don't look at our very messy office!!!!

Pretty Kitty. Looks like a cat we had once, named Oliver. May he rest in peace.:guilty:

BBN...WELCOME BACK!!!!!!!!! I've missed your witty banter, entertaining mini tr's, and all around pain in the astarstar nature. Now...
1. What on God's green earth are you doing in your signature picture?
2. I saw no picture with you with a sunburn. Is that one of the ones you poofed? Because if so, you're not quite a freakin genius to ask me to look at a picture and then poof it.
3. Sorry about the camera malfunction. That would SO bum me out.

Hey now I have been accused of lots of things but witty banter has never been one of them! hee hee (awww shucks, thanks, in a Braid Paisley kind of awww shucks way)

1. acting like a 15 yr old. DUH!

2. It had the redhead in it, so I poofed it. You will just have to wait and see later. :snooty: YOU should have checked in yesterday.

3. I bet you would cry. Not that you ever do that or anything.

:rolleyes1
well it was taped, and there are "spoilers" out there...

SHHHHHHHH! Lalalalala *fingers in ears*

Check ya later, Moovers!

Oh goody are we playing hockey later?!?!

Hi All...I doning much better today no belly pains to speck of...thanks for all the well wishes.

Good to hear!:thumbsup2

BabyNurse. I like your new signature pic. Who is the gal on the left? I thought you said you only had one daughter?

Wheat Thins

ha. ty. Ya know THAT was how we got past security.:rolleyes1 Actually when I told them if they did not let me past, they would be hearing from the law offices of Busted?, Denyit, and Gofree they let me right in. I might have explained to them that "we dont hate, we extrapolate" too.

Oh
Babycow - is that Julia with you in your sig pic? Cute pic!

give this woman a prize. (pssst. I always had faith in your camping skills. sort of. kind of. J/K. I did. for REALS)

Nope, can't walk. Thanks to the boy-seat-of-doom :scared:

That is one reason I hate using the spinning machines at the gym. It's not comfy. Way to hang in there though.

So I stopped for wings and things at Zaxby's. If you live near one and haven't been, get in the truck. It's great.

never been to a Zaxby's. Is it kinda like Buffalo Wild Wings? (aka BDub) do y'all have those?

Zaxbys is much smaller with a drive threw and no beer....we have a BWW its more of a sports bar...that is if its still there ,,,Ive been away from my Home Town the last 5 years (Bowling Green) here in fort knox E-town area where we have none of the above and I miss it...
However we do have a new Beef O'brady's that more than makes up for it and they have huge wings there great ...with weekday draft beer specials 99 cents 3 to six pm...Mickey and I go quite often

I'm trying to brush up on Algebra of sorts.

I don't want to place too low on my placement test.

I'm a bit rusty, but it's coming back to me.

Just finished watching Hell's Kitchen. The rumours were right Sandy....:lmao: I still wanted the other one to win...

Pumba-- it is hot here too. They were calling for a storm that I think missed us.

It did rain on us a little at baseball. Nicholas was fine today so it must have been the sun yesterday. He felt better so he went out this morning and fell off his bike. Got a pretty good cut on his leg and the handle bars hit him in the chest. He has a huge bruise now on his chest.... I am going to have to put him in bubble for the summer.

Celery-- you sound like your having a blast with Breadman's kids.

Marita -- did your DD make it home tonight? I bet she is excited to tell about her trip.

UMA-- your bike story is why I don't think I could do the spinning class..

Melinda ...watch out a bad storm just blew through here with 60 mph winds and it blew my yard furniture arcoos the yard and heavy lightning heading your way in about 45 mins questimation...if anyone has her number you could call her...this is a bad storm and they might be asleep since its late.

Hi everyone!

Sis, nice kitties!

Wendy, funny cycling story!

Mony, good luck on the algebra, remember the parenthesis. That's the only part of Algebra I usually have to use (but a LOT)

DD just got home as I was typing this post. She said she iis ready for bed, has been up for 27 hours.

This frigging budget this year is driving me nuts! I opened the review file tonight to review it, and numbers changed! :scared1: Except I didn't change anything. And review is at 10:30 tomorrow.

Well, it is what it is right now. Actually, it's better now in one area by a lot, and worse in another by a little. so we shall see how it goes.

At least is should mostly be over by tomorrow, except we already know that they are going to change some targets, but the lion's share will be over.

DS called today, he passed his third to last test today, and just 2 physical tests to go, YAY!

1. Pretty Kitty. Looks like a cat we had once, named Oliver. May he rest in peace.:guilty:

2. Oh goody are we playing hockey later?!?!

1. Sorry about the kitty...maybe he'll turn up? :confused3

2. Yep. It's the French-Canadian part of me. I can't help myself.

Hotter then a fire cracker here ......

Yep, Pumba. It's hotter than the hinges of Hades here too. I like it! We're getting a lot of use out of the pool this year.

DD just got home as I was typing this post. She said she iis ready for bed, has been up for 27 hours.

DS called today, he passed his third to last test today, and just 2 physical tests to go, YAY!

Marita, glad your DD made it home safely. You must be so glad to have her back. And YAY on your son's progress too!

The suitcases have now been brought down from the attic. I guess that means I need to get my rumpus in gear and put some stuff in 'em. But for now, I'm going to retreat to my nice, cool bedroom to read. G'night, y'all!

YAY!!!!!!!!!!

Our Internet and phone were down again earlier tonight :( I ran out to the store to pick up a couple movies and some ice cream and generic Prilosec. You forget how well that stuff works until you run out.

Marita, glad your daughter made it home!!! Hope she has some fabulous photos to share with you. And congrats to your son :)

It has been humid here today, but I don't think it got up to 85, as predicted. I ate lunch inside today and don't sit by a window, so the weather is a surprise on days like that when it comes time to go home. DH is picking up the new hot tub cover tomorrow night, so I hope it's not rainy.

Hope Sukie's obedience class isn't rained out again tomorrow. Sandy - Take your new wuppies to class when things settle down! I think it really helps.

Wendy, I need to get back into riding my recumbent bike. I think my seat is MUCH more comfy than the bikes at spinning class!!! :lmao:

Cute siggie pic, bbn! It makes me think of Julia Roberts singing in the giant Jacuzzi in Pretty Woman ;)

Nabbie - Hope Nicholas isn't too sore tomorrow

L! Yay for Disney packing time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Peej - YAY for skipping work for a spa day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mony - Glad to hear you enjoyed your concert :thumbsup2 I read about it in the paper on-line today! There sure have been a lot of Michigan concerts in the news lately. That Rothbury music festival - yikes! Hopefully Common Ground in Lansing won't be that wild. At least people don't camp there, being that it is downtown and all. And crawling with police/security, I'm sure.

Hi, Cel and Cel's Mama! Blackberries sound yummy.

Pumba, sorry about your sunburn. Ouchie! Sunburn in uncomfortable places is the reason I don't do tanning at a salon.

Lex - Now that you have a new job, does that mean that you'll no longer be cooking for a passel of college kids? Or was that a volunteer thing through church?

Sorry, I know I'm forgetting some people, so I'll just do a general goog night to everyone else! :flower3:

Sandy...please do not even speak the word migrane. I think that's enough to pass it from one person to the next.

Cel...happy camping or whatever the heck. One person says it's not camping, then it is camping, then your mom says it's not, then you get mad and say it is. Sheesh, I can't keep up! I guess I'll just say enjoy the pie. Or wait, you said it's NOT pie???? You're too much for me.

bbn...you know I'll be stealing your camera from you some time in the near future so I'll see the pictures then. You love it when I steal your camera, right? RIGHT???? OMGOSH I am going to make you print pictures. That's it. New camera = new policy = this time around you are going to actually print pictures!! Thank you, I rest my case.

Pumba...sounds like a nice pool day! :goodvibes Way to beat the heat.

Monica...I want no part of the algebra brushing up. You keep that all to yourself. Please and thank you.

Marita...congrats to DS on passing yet another test. Woot! :woohoo:

BigL...DOUBLE WOOT on getting the suitcases down!! It's almost time!!!!
:cool1: :dance3: :yay: :hyper:

Moo...your internet and phones go down way too often!

We had a big meeting today at work about what's going to happen to the restaurant. Basically what I got out of the meeting is that the construction is going to be a giant pain in the astarstar and I'm not going to be there to experience most of it. Darn? Outer Rim (the bar by Chef Mickey's) is going away forever on Sunday and walls are going up. We'll have to take the guests around the walls and through a rather narrow space to get to their tables. That's all I've got for the evening. Sweet dreems, all!
:grouphug:

GOOD MORNING. RISE AND SHINE!

PJ I am enjoying your live reports of ongoing changes and activities at WDW.

Lynette You show great self-restraint at only packing four days early. I started packing for Myrtle beach last week and we don't leave for another couple weeks! I find that packing makes it seem like the vacation is almost here. Have a GREAT trip.

Monica Algebra, laaaaeeeehhhh! That's the only class I ever took and got bad grades. Of course if I had taken any higher math, I could have broken that record!

Sis Your son is doing so well. His news always brightens your day and gets your mind off budgets and other stressful matters.

Pumba Ouch! Time to find the Solarcaine or whatever that stuff is that is supposed to relieve sunburn pain!

Moo I think you need satelite internet, as much as I hate it. Unless there is massive cloud cover, you have a connection.

Hi to BBN, MommyP and Celery who I never "see" much anymore. I seldom seem to be online when you are.

GOOD MORNING!

I awoke late again. DS and I watched Enchanted last night.

I am working long days at church every day til I leave so I can try to get some things done. Since we are on an academic calendar and school starts in 5ish weeks, this is a realllllly bad time for me to go. Not to mention I have been doing this for five years and have the routine down. I feel really bad about leaving just now.

Hound....I never heard the storm. It must've gone south. Thanks for worrying about me.

Kay.....Your kitties are sweet. Is Tornado the big one? WOW! He's huge!

MommyP.....I forgot to mention how much I liked the fabric. Beautimous!

PJ....When are you going to Loo-uh-vull? AKA When does school start?

Lynette
.....What does your DH think about meeting your crazy internet friend at Disney? Or will it be a surprise? ;)

Moo....The Sunday lunch was always a volunteer opportunity. I told them I'd still cook but someone else will have to do all the shopping....which I always did on Fridays.

Marita....Glad to hear DD is home safe. I hate DVC.

Monica.....Algebra? :scared: I hate algebra. I have blocked it from my memory all together.

Wendee, NABBIE, Cel, Cel's Mama, everybody.........:wave2:

HAVE A GREAT DAY!

Marita........OKEY I am going to do my Mother Marie act.......You are not eating right.....this is dangerous to your whole system. HONEST......You need to eat three main meals a day and at least three snacks ....and that is not much. I am allowed 30 grms of carbs per meal and 15 for my snacks. Please try to eat more ....you scare me when you dont eat properly. When you dont take in the necessary calories your body takes away from the other areas and will deplete your whole necessar stuff.......Please for Mother marie

I am glad that dd is home safe and sound and that your son is progressing so great

Lexmelinda Yes, Tornado is the big cat. He's over 14 pounds. Of course he looks even bigger because Crystal's nickname is "little tiny kitty." She's 5.8 pounds as of yesterday's visit to the vet. We hope she gets bigger. We think she is 6 - 7 months old, but it's tough to tell. She could be up to 12 months. My previous female cat never got over 6 pounds. Everyone thought she was still a kitten, but she was just very petite. :confused3

Sis Okay, so what's this about you not eating right? I have heard a few people make comments, but I wasn't sure if you had been sick or what. Are you dieting? If so, why? You're already thin.

I am belatedly doing my pre-vacation diet, but it's pretty hopeless at this point. I needed to get serious about it weeks ago, and I kept procrastinating. So now, Pumba I am sure you would scold me, too. I am eating very few calories. Only small amounts of lean proteins, egss, and also salad with homemade raspberry vinagrette dressing, and vegetables that have pretty close to zero calories. That's about it. Not terribly balanced, but relatively healthy nevertheless. It's not just for losing weight. I have found that crash dieting is the only thing that makes much of an impact on cellulite. I have read a couple places that it seems to help, but I discovered it on my own. Has anyone else ever noticed that it helps? Lots of exercise combined with a very low calorie diet for a few weeks does make a difference, although I don't think anything will get rid of it completely. I've never been able to stay with it long enough and lose enough weight to be sure. It's no fair that men don't get cellulite.
