TOOOT!

:scared1: :scared1: EEEEK! You held a TI-ranchula!!!! :scared1: :scared1:

I didn't see a thing you wrote thanks to a level 5 Heebie Jeebie Attack!
I wouldn't even save one of my babies if a big, hairy, ickypoo spider was crawling on them. (Ok, yes I would, but I wouldn't be very happy about it).

Wendy, now shake hands and make up with Bonnie!

Bonnie, I was hoping that was a call from my DD, who is now God kows where in Europe. But nobody on the other end.

Work sucks!

Aww...I hope you hear from her soon, Marita. I'm sure she is just fine, but it's hard not to worry when you're a momma!

Hi Wendy! How's it going, my friend? I was just looking at airfare to SLC, cause my uncle is in the hospital and we may have a funeral in the next couple of weeks. :( It's weird, because it was just a little over a year ago that my other uncle (his brother) passed away. They both live(d) in the same tiny town in Utah....Circleville. Have you ever heard of it?

Anyway, airfare to SLC is around $600 after taxes and fees! :scared1: Holy smokes! That has always been an expensive airport to fly in and out of though. What gives? :)

I decided to make chicken A La King tooorrw, I have all necessary ingrediens except for real milk! I refuse to use that 1% fat water dssguised as milk stuff!

Is my life exciting or what?

CRAP!!!!! I just typed out a long post and accidentally deleted it :furious:

Hiya Bonnie, nice to see ya! Hope Wicked was wicked good! Yuck on the tarantula and other creepy crawlers though

Commiseration to Marita on not hearing from your daughter. Maybe she'll call tomorrow since it's Fathers Day? Yay for hearing from your son today! I'm sure things will work out with his job

bbn, thanks for the Fathers Day poem! My hubby is a great dad too. And HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!!

Cel - Glad you're back safe and sound. We're watching a Disney show on abc tonight and they showed the Toy Story Mania ride :thumbsup2 They have been showing commercials for the High School Musical Get in the Picture show we watched them film at Epcot!

Mon - Sounds like you had a fun shopping trip today! They were having a balloon glow in our downtown tonight, but we decided to rent some movies and go home instead.

Lex - I'm reading the Other Boleyn Girl this weekend. Tried to rent it but there weren't any left :worried:

Hang in there, Pumba! Hope you heal quickly :3dglasses

Peej - Glad you did OK on your test today! :goodvibes

Hope everyone has a nice Fathers Day tomorrow!!!!! We went out to dinner with my FIL and hubby's brother's family this evening instead of battling tomorrow's crowds.

Moo, I read The Other Boleyn Girl, and then The Boleyn Inheritance (which was not as good). I don't normally read historical fiction, but Philippa Gregory's writing style kept my attention. I'm usually much more of a detective fiction/suspense type of girl.

Psstt....it's you turn at Scrabble. ;)

. They both live(d) in the same tiny town in Utah....Circleville. Have you ever heard of it?

Oooh ooh. :hyper: I have! I have! I minored in tinky tiny Utah towns.

LALIJACK! Look at your ticker! You gradijiated cumma sum laude from the Internet School of "Leadership". You go girl! So- where are you staying? where are you eating? Do you need a tourguide? :wizard:

Sistah Wife HotT College Chick- Happy Anniversary. I really appreciate your many talents including, but not limited to, finding appropriate song lyrics for any occassion, spulunking, rodeo-announcing, haiku-writing and wagon circling. Have a goog day tomorrow. ;)

Marita- Glad you heard from your son, hope you hear from your daughter soon.

Happy Father's Day to all the great dads who post here or are married to someone who posts here or fathered someone who posts here.

My kids have a great dad. He takes off work to watch little league games, he assembles bikes in the middle of the night on Christmas Eve, he can change a diaper with one hand and get a toddler to take "wucky" medicine. He gets up every day and works hard to provide for us. He sells his "collectibles" on ebay to pay for Disney vacations because that is my dream come true.

My dad is wonderful. He wasn't the kind of guy who taught me the infield fly rule (I doubt he knows it) or how to play Frogger (I don't think he ever has) but watching him raise a family, have a career, and deal with rough times has taught me courage, integrity and strength. He has always been my biggest fan and has always believed in me and encouraged me. Even when I was tiny, he talked to me like my thoughts were important.

Have a wondefu day tomorrow everyone.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

My sister and I, the only ones, have different view points on immunizations.

She constantly sends me stuff. This ticks me off. I leave her opinions alone. Her kids are hers to raise the way she wants to raise them and mine are mine to raise how I want to raise them.

Tonight I blew up when once again there were emails from her to everyone in her contact list about her beliefs. I take high offense to this. I feel this is a very sensitive matter.

I am comparing her to people who knock on your doors and shove their religion at you.

I am totally pmsing and I lost it with her tonight. Her second response I just deleted halfway through without finishing and just told her again, to stop sending me these types of emails and I am done discussing this matter with her.

One of my biggest pet peeves in the world is being told how to parent.

Oh and I love when the baby is crying out and you know it's a bad cry and your 3 year old is standing there looking guilty and you ask what's wrong and she says she stepped on the baby's tummy. Then says she didn't, she stepped over the baby.

The baby seemed fine. I'm thinking she just kinda kicked her while she was drinking her bottle. she might have been falling asleep and was startled by Mal's clumsiness.

Please send me somewhere quick. I'll even take a few days at the funny farm, just to get away from here.

EEEk, Mony!

Come down here for a few minutes. Come lay in the sun by the pool. The sky is blue, a few fluffy white clouds drift by. You have a lovely drink in your hand, and a sappy romance noval to read. Birds are chirping in the trees. A slight breeze is blowing. Life is good!

Close your eyes and you are here!

Ha! I wondered who would notice my ticker first! :cool2: I learned at the feet of the Master of Spousal Persuasion (that's YOU, Twink!) He finally caved on our anniversary (Thursday). I guess it's now fair and accurate to say that Lalijack = persuasive. (TM BBN)

We are going July 13. We told the kids tonight during an intense family game of Sorry! (Disney version). Natasha got so excited that she burst into happy tears. Boris went into ubergoofy mode, and nearly crushed Mojo underfoot during an extreme version of the Happy Dance. Thankfully, everyone emerged unscathed from the aftermath of the announcement.

Regarding where we'll be staying....since I am mindful of stalkers, I'll just say that it is not the place that you and I discussed a few weeks ago during our Facebook chat. But I have stayed at this hotel before.

I have already made 2 dinner reservations. I need to make 3 more, but the kids will be providing input on those. We're hoping to finalize all our ADRs tomorrow. Then it'll be time for me to get my index cards out and plan each day's itinerary. Cuz that's how I roll.

Lynette that is awesome! Roll Baby Roll!

marita: I can so picture that. dang when will someone invent time travel for real??? or what ever that's called.

Mon, I second Marita's suggestion! I know that that topic can be highly charged  I know of someone who thought their child became autistic after an immunization.

Lynette, MOO HOOOOOO on your trip!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :yay:

I took my turn . . .

BUT!!! SLC airport IS worth it because I'D be there to welcome you!
And take you to lunch!
(sorry about your Uncle!!!)

Monica-
1. Chocolate (better than Midol)
2. Ben & Jerry's Chubby Hubby
3. a glass (or 3) of wine
4. Michael Buble and some Mr. Bubble
5. There IS one other thing, but I can't post it here. It doesn't involve a nasty letter to your sister and then ripping it up (but if it helps?)

and of course, from me:

WooHHO, Lynette!

Congrats on persuading that stubborn DH of yours.

I guess there are no Dis meets planed?

Well, Marita, there will be a certain PirateBallerina at the World while I'm there......

Anyone else want to meet us during the week of 7/13?

Oooh! I would LOVE to meet up, Marita! Once I get my ADRs in place, I'll PM you and see if you can meet us somewhere!

I grabbed to chocolate chip morsals which I hardly ever do and sat down and ate a handful.

Now I want to eat everything in sight.

So, on that note I will go brush my teeth and go to bed. Cause it's Father's Day tomorrow, I have to get up early like I always do with the baby.

I can't remember that last time I slept in and I was hoping I could tomorrow until someone reminded me it was father's day. Good thing I plan ahead (2 weeks ago) and got his gift.

Nighty night.
