RebEcca- you look beautiful! Felicitations to your friend. Neither one of you look old enough to be a bride let alone a matron of anything.

Field trip was a blast. I had good kids. :woohoo:

The village was cute. It had a police station(jail) , Fire station ( with coats, boots, helmets to try), train station with a rail road crossing, school, park, DQ, car place, coffee place, bank, church, legion, bus shelters, one traffic light corner, one four way stop, and alot of other places.

I would not make a great traffic cop. That was my first job of the day. I backed them up really bad. Then the police woman said I have to tell them which way to go so the corners don't get block. I was letting them go the direction they wanted to. Then a few time some didn't stop and I had to get out of the way.

After that job I got to lead 7 kids around and do a scavenger hunt and then a detective game. I had some smart kids we found the spot easy. I locked the boys in the jail while visiting there. They thought it was cool until I said I was going for lunch see ya.

We had a blast and the kids must have liked me because everyone wanted to sit with me on the way back to school.
Sounds like fun. Did they drive real cars? And of COURSE everyone liked you! You're fun, nabbers!

They did not drive real cars ( if they did I would be in the hospital right now..:lmao: )....they each got there own power wheels jeep to drive. They were impressed because they thought one of them would have to be passenger and one would drive.

Mony -- any news on your DH yet?

DH is taking himself to urgent care.

He urinated and it was bright red.

30 minutes later he's in terrible pain, right side toward his back. He's all sweaty and I did not like his color.

ACK!

:scared1: Hopefully its a simple (as if) kidney stone... (DS went thru the kidney stone- he had to go to 3 hospitals, go for the shock bathtub first - all that other stuff was a waste of money... for ds anyway!)

I've seen those!! I can only imagine!! :rotfl2: Good thing I wasnt there...

uma Remind me NOT to skim your posts... you playing with balls... we dont allow that here... one broken light was enough for me!!

50cent shot??? Wonder if it had anything to do with him having his wife (ex?) and sons house burned down :confused3

Poor Tatum, she needs help!!

NINE ugly dresses. Me and Kathryn Heigl are like *this.*Two of which are Guinea Sax (did I spell that right?)

NOOOOO! not again!

Hey, I still have my Prom dress that was a sax - I thought it would make a great Halloween costume some day!! :rotfl2: Little House on the Prairie style!!

ACK, Mony! Hope your hubby is OK. More prayers from Mid-Mitten  How's he gonna watch the Wings win if he's stuck in the ER??!

BTW, we only have a couple acres. Could have had 30-something acres, but we really didn't want to buy a farm field. Somebody else did, so now we have a house at the far end of the field behind us. That was the only place they could install a septic field. Fortunately, they planted a bunch of pine trees so eventually we won't be able to see their house from our living room window.

I booked a room for WDW for mid-December yesterday!!! ::MinnieMo ::MickeyMo I figure I can always adjust the number of days later. Now I'm trying to line up someone to join me (my DD and/or my friend who lives in Florida, but she said she probably could only do a weekend due o her son's school schedule). I'm hoping they have some better passholder rates later.

Lynette - Sending prayers for your friend. So sad.

bbn - Have fun at the wedding. More pixiedust: for lovely weather for your friends.

I miss Peej! Hope she is enjoying the :beach:

Wendy, loved seeing your 4-wheeler riding wuppy!!! I'm not going to give my hubby any ideas like that  NINE bridesmaid dresses?????!!! I love that 27 Dreses movie, but I gave my DVD of it to Mari. She will be home tomorrow night :yay: I'm procrastinating on the vacuuming. Bleahhhh.

Nabbie! Glad you had a fun field trip! I'm with Cel . . . of course the kids liked being with you :)

Rob, LOLing about UTA :rotfl2: My other persona is also a snack cracker, hee hee!

Hiya, WT, Cel, Twink, Marita, Pumba, Sandy, BH, DTD, and Kay!

Dang, my post just went poof!

Anyway, what Moo said to everyone!

Mony and Lynette  , prayers.

BBN, have fun being a Matron!

Moo, yay on booking another trip. Hope your DD goes with you this time.

Wendy, your Sunday morning looks like fun!

Sandy, good to see you again. Are you back in the computer business, or just stealing time (so to speak) on others?

We are going on our quarterly team outing Friday to Epcot. Lunch at Le Cellier, and one of the guys is going early in the morning to make a run for Soarin' fastpasses. I don't know if we have any firm plans beyond that, but knowing me, I will probably head home by 2 pm, LOL.

I am having what Moo had at Le Cellier (the filet), but with the polenta, skipping the soup.

No word from DS in 3 days, grrr. Oh and DH was talking yesterday about DRIVING up to Alabama for the graduation (assuming he makes it). That is 10 hours EACH WAY!:scared1: I need to check airline tickets.

Oh, we got our stimulus check today  Except I thought we might get $300 for DD as she was still a dependent, but she filed her own return. Oh well, $1,200, I'll take it.

Rob, nice try at a new name, LOL

Goog evening, MOOvers. No word on Mony's DH yet? :confused3 Dang.

Thanks to those who offered kind words about my friend's BIL. I have been thinking about him all day, as well as the wife he left behind, and it's put me in a rather icky mood. So I'm here, hoping to take my mind off stuff.

My DH went out and bought a refurbished desktop for Boris and Natasha tonight. This is uncharacteristically spendy of him. We hadn't even discussed getting them a computer of their own, so I'm not sure where the idea originated. His rationale was, "It was so cheap that I couldn't not buy it. Which is convenient, cuz I'm going to use exactly that phrase to justify a Disney trip. Heh. Wish me luck! ;)

It was a warm day all day and when we go to play baseball the wind picks up and makes it freezing. I will have to remember to put a blanket in the car for next time.

We had an assume game tonight 15 to 4 for us. Nicholas really has become a good backcatch. Also played against his old team and coach. They asked him when he became such a hitter. He had a good coach last year that is why. This is only our third game.

Marita-- stay have fun, you have never been on Soaring?

Moo-- another trip I am jealous.

Mony -- the Penguins are playing to win tonight, they have to or this will be the end.

Lynette, YAY, a lucky turn of events on the home front. Wishing you luck! Who had tht great code? Mony, I think.

Yes, so sad about your friend's BIL, really no time to prepare. But then again, not many months of suffering like my former boss had who just died at the age of 47. There is just nothing good about it anyway you turn it.

Mony, update with DH status ASAP please, we are thinking of you!

Marita-- stay have fun, you have never been on Soaring?

Moo-- another trip I am jealous.

Nab, sounds like you had a fun day. Of course all the kids loved you!

And yes, I have been on Soarin' 4 or 5 times and planning to at least do lunch and Soarin', but after that all bets are off.
I have to hand my ID to my coworker on Thursday so he can get me a fastpass, and use one of my free passes (intended for guests) to get in the park, as I am NOT going to show up first thing Friday morning. No big deal. I would ask for parking behind Le Cellier for lunch, but I cant do that without my ID, so I guess I will take the boat over to IG.
I haven't seen the updates to SE or Mexico, so I might stay for that if that is what the group is doing, I will have to see. Or the Canada movie, either.

Speaking of Canada, you live near Toronto, right??? If not correct me, I want to think of my friends Nab and Hannah and Nicholas if I should see it.

Marita-- I do live very close to Toronto. I think they did a great job on the updated movie in Canada. And since we traveled across Canada from East to West we know some of the other places they show.

I hope Mony is busy watching the hockey game to post about her DH and nothing to serious is wrong.

We are letting Nicholas stay up and watch the whole game just in case it is all over tonight it the Wings win. They tied 2-2 in the third period.

Evil wife! It's purrrrrrect! ;)
You got skillz, mama!
(Good Luck, though, anyway!)

Thanks much, Marita! And yes, Twinkie is a pro! I am honored to have received a goodly portion of my education from her! :worship:

Hmm....I wonder what other wisdom she has to offer?

Nab, my trip is somewhat iffy and will be a low budget trip since I have the annual pass. Although, I will pay for my daughter's park ticket and food if she is able to join me. Wish I'd gotten Mony's great code!

L, no need for me to coerce my hubby . . . I will just leave him home with the pups :rolleyes1 He's not interested in another Disney trip until 2011 or 2012.

I know I can ALWAYS at least have lunch or tea with Marita.

Any chance you're considering December, Lynette?!! I'm sure you can find a suitable bribe.

At work, all I need to do to get help (e.g., like today when I needed my file cabinet moved to my new office) is bribe some of the guys with a KitKat candy bar or two ::yes:: They're always happy to help out, but I like to sweeten the deal once in a while so they're willing to assist me the next time, LOL.

Marita, have a goog LeCellier lunch!!! The filet is super delicious. It usually comes with risotto. Hope they'll substitute polenta for you.
