Wendy, I got room.

Moo: If I wasn't car pooling, I'd probably visit Motor City Casino.

The BBQ was yummy!

Boys outside playing baseball with their dad and friends=PU stinky.

Rob,

Speaking of handling sports club affairs, my BFF did the chess club for years. He just quit last month because his son is graduating. Full tuition scholarship to Vanderbilt, YAY!

Here is a picture to make all mothers cry. What a difference 5 years make. 4 of the top 5 student's in BFFs son's High School, standing in the same order. And, as BFF pointed out, they are now reversed in order of height.

Hiya !

Random Thoughts:

Monica- you rock for going to school, keeping lil people and being a mom. Way to go.

When does MommyP get back? Maybe we should all PM her, again.

I was thinking about something yesterday which reminded me of Poly. Poly- if you are out there, I hope all is well.

Utah- what happened? is Jen snowed in before the snow? change of plans? I have given up on myself and the peeps. Are you still losing weight like a crazy woman? I need a kick in the astarstar.

The twins went to a makeover party today. They are sooo stinkin' cute. Glitter hairspray is da bomb.

Twinkie-You always know when I need to here something nice. Thank you sweetie.

I just rejoined my peeps. This time it's for good. I just say to myself, Just do it already.

Marita that's a great picture.

We should have a party!

Twinkie, your back yard looks suitable...

Marita, love that pic! Whenever all my mom's grandchildren are together at my house, I try to get them to sit on the stairs in our entry in the same spots so we can keep track of their growth. It's cool to see from, say, one Thanksgiving to the next how the kids have changed. *sigh*

Heya, Twink! Glittah rocks! Natasha loves glitter nailpolish as well as glitter hairspray. The sparklier, the better!

Rob - I'm sure your efforts will be much appreciated!
Maybe Moo, by some. BUT it doesn't matter. It is ALL worth it -- the scheduling and other work -- when you see those boys and girls running around and having fun. :)

Anyone have a spare bedroom in a warm non-muggy climate for me to crash in? And feed me BBQ steak?

Almost unbearably windy.
1. You (or even you AND your kids) can move into our basement (just ignore all those Coke decorations ;) ). DW could use a "wife" to help out around the house and we cook most meals on the outdoor grill from now to October (course it starts getting pretty muggy here in late June / July).

2. Sounds like my DS15 and his love to talk all the freakin' time.

Rob-- Baseball hasn't started here yet. My son has been playing for the last 4 years and goes to baseball camp in the summer. It usually runs June to August.
League play for DS7 starts May 3rd -- those are the schedules I'm working on. League play for my middle two sons starts this week and they started playing tournaments about five weeks ago.

Awww, that's a great pic Marita. :)

Allie- Athens to Montgomery and back or should I say bAACCKK! The longest I ever took kids on was 60 miles to Paducah.

That would be purcisely how I say it down here. ;) My family is always making fun of my accent. Don't they realize I'm the only one talkin' normal. :confused3 It was a Loooonnnngggg trip, but it was fun.

Allie-- That is pretty early school trip. Hopefully they will all be sleeping on the way back.

Unfortunately, there was NO sleeping that happened on the way back. I was ready to get home though. We made it safely, and that is what counts. Although, our bus driver was yawning a lot and driving below the speed limit on the last leg of the trip. My daughter's teacher asked if I wanted to help drive, then she remembered about the goose incident, and she took back her offer. :lmao:

Goosegirl- phone home! are you being held hostage on the field trip?

Hope I didn't worry you. Wasn't held hostage, just been crazy busy, and no DIS time. :sad2:

But, Allie, if they talked, you could hear what they were saying! That's why the kids in the SAME BACKSEAT  text each other so that the parental unit doesn't know what they're "saying" to each other.

-- Rob

ZZZactly why they don't need to be a textin' in the first place.

I'll be back with more replies later. I want to properly thank everyone for my birthday wishes. :grouphug: Funny thing, I posted replies on the Peeps board, and when I hit Preview, it sent me to that other DISbashing website. :confused3 Now it's fixed. Hope there isn't a gremlin in my 'puter. :guilty:

:rolleyes1 Poof?

In meinem garten, da sing ein Voegelchen, ein kleines amselchen, das sing so schoen.

Singt immer triddge diddle dit, singt immer tringeldiddledit, und ich sing mit!!

Sorry, I just regressed to age 4 or so.

DO NOT BUY STOCK IN DISNEY!

Yeah, right, like I had that kind of power.....

OK, carry on. Nothing to see here, I just went a bit loopy.

Nabbie, I shopped way too long tonight - Meijer is a big store, so my knees are killing me! Loved your pics!

CHEETOS?! Yum, Marita! I looked at them and resisted tonight.
I bought 100 calorie bags of microwave popcorn instead. I figure that's a better bet due to the fiber

Mony, I have never been to any of the Detroit casinos, just once to Soaring Eagle.

Hiya, L - Did you take your turn? I'm going to go check.

Wendy - Ditto on the above for you

Rob - I'm going to fire up our grill tomorrow!!! I bought a steak for me because I've been uncharacteristically craving red meat. Hubby prefers hamburger. Really!

Pumba - Sounds like a fun day for you :dance3:

Allie and Rob - When I clicked on the What the Heck link, it had been poofed :lmao:

Twink!!! Sounds like the Twinkie Twins had great fun getting their makeovers :goodvibes :goodvibes

1. Me too Moo. We had sirloin burgers right off the grill tonight that were most excellent. They were so good they hardly needed any toppings on them.
2. Interesting.

GOOD MORNING! :sunny:

Well, yesterday was a total nothing day. I did shower and I did clean the house a little but besides that....nothing. DS's friend came by and ended up spending the night so I've got two boys here for the price of one.

Did I tell you I DID buy airfare for the September trip on Friday when SW released their fall schedule? It was around $175/person non-stop RT Loo-uh-vull/Orlando with taxes/fees/etc. So I guess my imaginary trip is becoming real.

But I haven't flown in almost 20 years. Emily is beyond excited because she's never flown. Anyway, it beats 28 hours in the car. But now I want a car because we drive all over Disney property. I'm not sure I want to be at the mercy of Disney transportation. :confused3

Marita
....Peanut M&Ms? Big bag? I'll be right over. Orlando question: Allears net says to take the greenway from the airport to Disney but googlemaps says to take the bee line? Which is better? And is there a grocery store on the way? Please and thank you. Also: the chess team picture was so cute. Emily noted that the two *dorks* on the right in the old picture are now *totally adorable*.

Rob....I hope they show you adequate appreciation for spending all that time on the little league schedule. As per usual, you'll probably get yelled at by someone who doesn't like when their team plays. Nobody appreciates volunteers.

Twinkie.....Glitter hairspray. Sigh. Those were the days. My girls won't let me use it on them anymore. :confused3

Moo, Allie, Lynt, BNCG, and everybody.......:wave2:

HAVE A GREAT DAY!

You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven. --Matthew 5:14-16

1. Thank you Melinda. I'm sure what you say is true. There are already a couple of requests it doesn't look like I'll be able to fulfill without being unfair to another team. One of the reasons it takes so long is because I go through and try to make sure the schedules are balanced in terms of teams playing the same number of games (as close as you can get anyway) in the various time slots, various nights, etc. so that one team doesn't get all the 10:00 games and one team get all the 3:00 games, for example.

2. Always look forward to your Sunday morning posts. :)

I think I'm going to head to bed now as I seem to have hit a mental wall. Plus all of the Clark Gable films on TCM (I think there were four in a row) are done and now they are showing a not so good movie starring Elvis. I know, I know, what are the odds of an Elvis movie not being top rate?
