Twinkie- those pins are handed out a-LOT. They are super cool. I got one or two from CM's who I chatted with and they would stop me as I was leaving and say, "Wait a minute, I have something special for you" (YAY! A stay in the castle? DVC ???) and hand me the pins. You have to give one away and they're bad luck to trade. Only give. Hence the pixie dust theme. I got several of the "give away to random stranger" ones too. Yes, I've sung in a choir but that was many, many years ago.

I pretty much knew what it was. At our church, we have a video screen (no song books) and you either see just the lyrics themselves or you see the word chorus. Seldom, if ever, do we see the word refrain.

Sorry your sick Cel. Wish is had been strep, then you could have gotten the pills to make you better. I'm still waiting out the incubation of my typhoid Mary's strep. I can look at someone and catch it, but I had her wallowing all over my lap on Friday. Hope I stay well 'cause I'm going on the big class field trip to the state capitol tomorrow.

We only have song books, we did get some new ones this winter though since some of the old ones were falling apart or just plain missing whole chunks of pages.

You're right, I don't listen to country, but I love Garth Brooks and I know ALL the words to that song when I start at the beginning. The bits RobIn posted didn't click for me, but I knew it when WT posted the next line. I need to buy a Garth greatest hits cd sometime.

And there was NOTHING going on with me and Ben... we didn't even drink or smoke after each other (as we sometimes do). I just think spending so much time with him did it - we were either in a hotel room together, a car together, or an office together the whole time unless we were sleeping or showering.

I am always early for everything. Only time I was late was meeting up with Celery and the gang for tea. I blame WDW transportation for that.

When Lisa and I started carpooling, we agreed to meet at 6:20 to make sure she would get there on time (she punches a clock and I don't, so it's important for her to be there exactly on time cuz her boss is a dragon lady).
I still arrive precisely at 6:15 every morning.
She gets there between 6:30 and 6:40.

Actually, we have a large church and I think it was cheaper to buy the projector unit and screen than to buy all of the necessary hymnals. I know their is no bouncing ball (baseball or otherwise) to follow and I don't think the words even change color. They're just there. The drawback is that every service or two we sing a new song or two and it's a bit difficult to sing without having the notes there with the lyrics.
