So the boys room smelled like cheese. Badly. So I went searching for maybe a half eaten, forgotten about, cause the legos were left unattended, cheese stick. Yes EVERYONE is blaming Mal for this cheese smell.

What do I find? A cup of what was once a glass of milk left on a high shelf for who knows how long and now looks like one big cheese curd.

Blech!

Believe it or not, you wil miss that stuff some day

Good job, now will you come figure out what died in my fridge. I have been pitching things and have STILL not figured out what it is???!!!

Steph, did you check under your vegetable and meat drawers? I have had some smelly spills (milk and juice that leaked from raw chicken) under them before.

Also, sometimes there is a pan under fridges that can accumulate liquid as part of the self-defrost system.

Some other possibilities are rotten potatoes or a dead mouse somewhere in your kitchen. Ughhhhh!

I have had stinky potatoes in my lazy Susan before. P. U.

Sorry to change the topic from Mysterious Smells....;)

Has anyone heard of this Disney movie?

The one and only, genuine, original, family band

I really liked it as a kid but no one has heard of it IRL. It has Lesley Ann Warren as the oldest daughter and Kurt Russell as her pesky little brother. Goldie Hawn has a part and on set is where she met Kurt.

Also it is a musical and the lyrics have been stuck in my head recently. (Don't rock the boat! Give him your vote! Give your vote to a man who is the leader of men. Let's put Grover over again.)

Plot: ("borrowed" from IMDB)
The Bower Family Band petitions the Democratic National Committee to sing a Grover Cleveland rally song at the 1888 convention, but decide instead to move to the Dakota territory on the urging of a suitor to their eldest daughter. There, Grampa Bower causes trouble with his pro-Cleveland ideas, as Dakota residents are overwhelmingly Republican, and hope to get the territory admitted as two states (North and South Dakota) rather than one in order to send four Republican senators to Washington. Cleveland opposed this plan, refusing to refer to Congress the plan to organize the Dakotas this way. When Cleveland wins the popular vote, but Harrison the presidency due to the electoral college votes, the Dakotans (particularly the feuding young couple) resolve to live together in peace, and Cleveland grants statehood to the two Dakotas before he leaves office (along with two Democrat-voting states, evening the gains for both parties

Hellloooooo....

To those who remembered poor lil' ol' me.
Bless ya.
Love ya.
Really really mean it.

To those who didn't.
'Tis ok.
I rarely remember me.
I'm a forgettable kinda gal. :smokin:

Nuthin' newsworthy this end.
Still single, poor, unemployed and a mite moody.
But things are definitely movin' in the proper direction.
So. I'm a relatively happy gal. I think.
Impetuously booked a Thanksgiving trip to the World.
Anyone else gonna be there around that time, hmmm???

Apparently much has gone on 'round these parts.
Since last year. :faint:
Some good. Some not so good. But. Mai Tai just say.
That I love that you are all still here.
And laughing. And sharing. And caring.
Livin' large.
That so rocks. Very hard.
Keep it up, my dear friends. All of ya---old, new and unknown. ;)

I think of you (the collective you) muchly.
And love ya always.
Mean it. Really, really.

Keep in touch, meeps.
And.

Silly me.

You, my long lost and nearly forgotten friend, just didn't look hard enough. I DID shout you out. However, since I'm not into DRIVEBY shout outs I did NOT want to make it obvious. The ONLY reason I even made the effort at all was because YOU are cool. And CRAZY. And WERE my friend. At one point. Good day.

Morning all,

Lexi--   we miss you and are thinking of you.

Mony-- ewww on the milk. I usually only find hidden candy wrappers in the bed room. No food up stairs allowed.

Steph-- buy a new fridge.... I would go for Moo suggestions. We always find dried up milk under the veggie drawer.

Donald-- no fair, that is too bad. They are working you too hard.

P.J.-- how was the party. When do you have to have your packing done?

Twinkie-- Don't think I have ever heard of that one. But my memory is like Marita's ...:lmao:

Syd--:wave2:

Bloodhound-- glad your house trained!!!

W.T's -- nice to see you around here more often.

Marita-- cool pictures. It has been three weeks already.

Cel...DTD is correct, I will always be a hotT college chick. I guess just hotT chick works, too, if you insist. It just doesn't have the same ring to it, though. *BIG SIGH*

BigL...I went to the party to be extremely rude and not pay attention to the guest of honor. Imagine that. The people who are going on my graguwashin trip with me were all going to be at the party. We all needed to talk about various logisitcs of the trip and it was the only place/time we knew we would all be together since schedules are so crazy. Don't worry, we were subtle....I always am. :cool2:

Moo...yay on finally feeling better (ish)!!! :cool1:

Marita... Just because I like you. ;)

The "what is that smell" converation needed to stop anyway. :scared: So, thanks, Twink. That was making my stomach turn.

Nab...I have to be done packing by tomorrow morning.

I apparently have a knack for making things as complicated as possible, or so I've been told. In keeping with that theme I will be having a complicated summer.

MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT:: A job decision has been made. Cel, I'm sorry to report I won't be stalking you. I have officially taken the job at the public Montessori school in Louisville, KY!! After much thinking, praying, obsessing, crying, obsessing some more and so on, I went down last Friday to sign the contract. I think it was the right choice but moving all by myself to a new city is still a really really scary thought. A good friend of mine who went through the Montessori program with me at Xavier took the other teaching position at the same school. So, we'll have each other to lean on. Also, there are 2 teachers there who are recent Xavier grads and they've both assured me they'll be there to help. I think there's even people I can stalk in the area, but I'm really not sure. :rolleyes1 I still feel really nervous and scared, but excited at the same time! :hyper:

Right now I am trying to get everything ready to go to Florida which is my graguwashin trip. We're going to my parents' condo on the beach. I am then proceeding to Orlando to work at Chef Mickey's. I'm trying to have everything packed so when I get home from all that I'll be ready to move to Louisville. :faint:

My to-do list is approximately 8 miles long. :sad2: Have a goog one, y'all.

Thank you for your confidence that I will be well adjusted and loving my new life!

Twink...I thought of something else. I just found out my cousin is going to math camp. I laughed uproariously when she told me. She said it's nothing to laugh about.

Okay, it really is time to be productive.

Has anyone heard of this Disney movie?
No. Sounds kinda interesting. I find the goldie hawn/kurt russel bit more interesting. Hmm. Thanks for the trivia!
Hellloooooo....
Drop in whenever you can.

You, my long lost and nearly forgotten friend, just didn't look hard enough. I DID shout you out.
I hope she got it cuz I sure don't.

It's ok. I think the sunnybrook clan would be a better influence for you anyway. Hee.
So where are you going to live?
Louisville is pretty interesting.
And still closish.

I just found out my cousin is going to math camp. I laughed uproariously when she told me. She said it's nothing to laugh about.
Did you explain that one of your close imaginary friends went to math camp and still cherishes it even though she's as old as Giselle?
hee.
I'm sure if your cousin goes to math camp that she gets imaginary friends.
