At the GF today, I had iced English breakfast tea with LOTS of lemon, scones with strawberry jam, a mini chocolate éclair, and a chocolate-covered strawberry.
We went to DTD so I could get some dinner tonight once I was feeling better - Earl of Sandwich - it was pretty goog. We also made a stop at Ghiradelli's. Yum!

See you tomorrow, Marita!

Night, all.

Anyone got some drugs that'llt ake care of this code in ma nose?
I think I'm right there with you Steph. My Mom had one last week and I think she was kind enough to share it with me so I got something for Mother's Day too!

GOOD MORNING! :sunny:

The funeral was a nice tribute to DMIL. I'm happy that DFIL is getting an apartment in our neighborhood so we can see him more often. He's so sad. I hope once he gets settled he'll be better. It was so stressful caring for MIL these past four years.

Emily's class goes to KY Kingdom today so she has to be at school at 6:45am and then back in time for play practice so she won't be home til almost 7 tonight. She got tapped to sing a duet a her graduation ceremony. It's *For Good* from Wicked.

Moo & Cel....Tea sounds delicious! Cel...you were posing for all the celebrity photos and nobody asked for your autograph?? Have fun at lunch today. Wish I was there! We want pictures!

Kay....DTD is right! There's no getting rid of Stinky now! She's your cat, I'm afraid. Can you take her to the groomer and make her smell better? PS...I am not a fan of the Dole Whip. So in my estimation you're not missing much.

Steph....I always take Cold-Eez as soon as I feel a cold coming on and it's gone before it's ever full blown.

Wendy....Yay for Bear! Is that a level or a badge? Or both? Hope you get a decent nap today.

DTD...The End is Near! :lmao: I always love your posts! I hope you get a reprieve on the hard work soon.

EVERYONE ELSE (Twinkie).....:wave2:

Have a wonderful Wednesday!

Good morning all! We're off to epcot then to Le cellier for lunch with marita.

Talk to you later!

Morning!

We met with a company for my kitchen's window treatments.

I think we are going to hire them.

I tired of wondering what my neighbors think when I walk past the windows at night.:rotfl: They are naked.

The windows.

I just can't get my color ANYWHERE! So, I am going with a shade of the "green" we used in the kitchen. I really wanted a taracotta color, but I can't get it in a cellular shade, cordless, top down, bottom up option.

HI Moo! HI Cel!

Hope you are having a great time!

I tell DW that "if they don't like what they're seeing, then THEY should not be looking in OUR windows". ;)

I like the Earl of Sandwich. I also like Wolfgang Puck Express, which I hear has just been remodeled and has more indoor seating. Your selections at the Tea sound yummy. Hope you are feeling well today and having a wonderful time.

Sorry to hear about the loss of your DMIL. I hope you will be able to provide support and comfort for your FIL. It must be awful to lose someone after so many years together, and I'm sure he will be sad and depressed for a long time, but he will adjust. I had a recent visit from a cousin who lost his wife to cancer about this time last year. He is able to talk about her without seeming to be in a lot of pain, and he is adjusting reasonably well. They were very close, and were finally both retired and enjoying life when her cancer came back. :sad1:

Lowell said he saw Emily/Stinky early this morning, but I haven't seen her so far, so not sure if she's gone back to the farm or is out mousing on our land, and will show up for more gourmet fare on our front porch later. :rotfl:

Do like my one neighbor and tack up a Cabbage Patch Dolls sheet. :sad2:

Sounds lovely! The green will give off a pretty color when the light passes through it, I'm guessing. Daycare+Green=calm :teacher: . I'm so glad my previously red wall is now yellow (minus the glaze that is needing to be ragged/dry brushed on). The red made me anxious, not passionate. :upsidedow

Melinda
- Bear is a patch/accomplishment in scouts. He's a Webelo in cub scouts and is almost a full on Boy Scout (in May). For the Bear award, part of the ceremony is pinning a Bear pin on your mother's shirt. We both had to stand while he pinned me. He was sooooo awkward and cute. Poor lamb.

Make sense? Is your James going to be a scout? Riley absolutely looooves it.

Twinkie News:

Only 1 more week of school. I am not certain how I feel about that.

Goldenchild has no less that 3 bruises on his face. He really did walk into a door and the door knob got him right in the eye.

I still feel rotten but slightly less so.

I pulled TWO ticks off of Princess Twink this morning. They had clamped on but were not engorged. Ugh. :scared: It hurt like the dickens, poor kid. I guess summer is really here.

I think you're nebo picture is cute! All your pictures are cute...even and especially the one of you with the shopping bag on your head on your trip report! I have thousands of examples of bad pictures of me but unfortunately none of them meet the guidelines for posting on the interweb.

Sandy...I'm glad your still here! Being a freedom fighter, I was worried you had been banished.

Monica
....Get some curtains, girl.

Twinkie....I should've had cookies for breakfast too! :)

uggg

groannnnnnn

oh carp!

I've had a sore throat for 2 days......and now the aches are coming and I think a fever is on its way.

I can't freaking believe this!

My throat muscles hurt to smile, yell, and basicly talk.

Good gracious God, please not another illness.

Sandy - I checked about sending you a PM the other day, just to make sure you were still legal. ;) :rotfl2: I like Lex, was worried that you had been kicked out. :scared: Glad it was just 'puter problems. Hope the wedding planning is going well. I promise I'm gonna call you. RL has just been crazy. My last day at work is Friday! :woohoo: :yay: We do our little end of the year program/4 yr. old gradjeeashun tomorrow night. Oh, and I lost my paycheck yesterday. :scared1: Luckily, I have a great boss and she reprinted it for me today. :woohoo: If anyone wants, it, it's in a dumpster along with stinky poopie diapers. :rolleyes1

Hi everbody else! Hopefully, I'll be able to be a more active Moover once school is over.

Cel is checking in to the second resort. After we get some dinner and are settled in I'll see if we can post a couple pics!

P.S. I had a humongous Ghiradelli chocolate chip cookie for breakfast.

I'm sitting on the porch watching my DH, my 2 boys, the two neighbor boys and another from down the street, playing:

STREET BALL!

The age ranges are 7 - 46

This is quit hilarious!

Oh CAR!

Never mind!

Moo, please photoshop out any and all wrinkles!!!!!

Sandy, Good to see you again, Dang computer, must drive you mad!

Mony, not again, feel better soon.

Allie, yeah on school being almost over!

Twinkie, sorry about school being almost over. Feel better soon!

We had a very nice lunch at Le Cellier today. I had a bowl of the cheese soup, but I couldn't finish it. I think for my team outing soonishly I will try the mushroom filet (company paying :thumbsup2 ) and skip the soup.

I'll let Moo and Cel talk about what they had.

I was unable to get my backstage parking pass today, due to the ditzy secretary who took a message yesterday messing up. I told her, I need a pass for TOMORROW for Epcot (I have witnesses). This morning I got a message from the GM's secretary that she got the message about the backstage parking pass, but ditzy secretary said, SHE DIDN'T KNOW THE DATE!!!!!!! And then GM's secretary couldn't reach her contacts at Epcot.
Anyway, I took the boat over, it was ok.

I bet Twink and Melinda are gonna be jealous.

Hey, everyone! I suffered through my last whole workday for this week today. Tomorrow is easy peazy, since I get to leave at 2pm, and I have Friday off! Yay!

DH and I refinanced our house today, getting rid of the ARM we got when we first purchased. Got a great rate with really low fees, so we're pretty happy. Plus, the appraisal we had to pay for said that our house value has increased, despite the trend of plummeting home values across the nation. Double yay!

Typhoid Mony! I cannot believe you're getting sick again! You poor thing! I am sending virtual chicken soup. Now get some rest!

Cel and Moo, we're waiting for pictures. Pretty please? :flower3:

It was awfully quiet here today, huh?
