I'm having a rough week too. I was super close to filing for retirement on Thursday due to some work issues (I even went to the retirement office to have them answer some of my questions), but I talked with my managers and hopefully got things worked out. Now I'm just trying to recover from a cold/bronchitis

Yes that is what they gave her. This morning she woke up with nothing on her back or neck so I thought great that stuff works fast. I sent her to get dressed for the day and she came down and she has the rash all over her stomach , thighs, legs and feet. Oh and her elbows. So that throws out my theory on the shirt she tried on. I just checked her and it is gone again. Almost scared to send her to bed. I washed all her bedding last night with nothing new so I have no idea what this is.

We have a holiday here tomorrow called Family Day.So the kids are home from school. They are both volunteer at the church tomorrow night for a spaghetti dinner fund raiser. They are going to a youth conference here in Toronto in July and this hopefully will make the cost of sending both down a bit. She has a grad trip this year too and wants to go to camp at the end of the summer so they are costing hubby a fortune. He will have to work some major overtime.

Nabbie - Prednisone is very good for reducing inflammation, but it does have some wicked side effects. Hope Hannah feels better soon! I'm trying to get through this cold/bronchitis without taking any prednisone... I went back to work today and am trying to stay calm

Sure hope you stay well before and during your trip! On our flight down in November, I sat next to a woman who was wearing a surgical mask due to a recent kidney transplant. I think I'll wear one next time I fly!!! Both yo reduce germ exposure and to try to reduce breathing in other people's perfumes.

Mari and I have talked about a possible mother/daughter Disney cruise next fall. I should have enough time and $$ built up by then.

Well everyone seems better now.

Less then a week now until we fly out. So excited , really want out of this deep freeze.

We are going to be -21C tomorrow with the wind chill factor. Brrrr this is the worse winter ever. So much blowing snow today there was a 96 car pile up on one of the highways after a 8 tractor trail pile up yesterday.

Well be at POR for three hopefully, we have a buffer of three days if the snow decides to ground our flight but I really don't want to miss WDW either.

Marita-- Do you work at Downtown Disney or around it. Flight lands Wed. afternoon at 2:15 pm. We are not going into the parks that day so we are going to go there I think. Do you want to meet up? I know you like to go home after work so it is ok if you can't. We won't have a phone since it would be crazy for roaming charges.

I could meet you at Port Orleans at the Pool Bar or the Food Court
around 4:15-4:30 if that works.
I am not going to DTD these days, they are doing tons of construction in the Parking lots, and they are full by the afternoon and you have to park a mile away if you have a car.

Marita--That sounds great. I will have to check with hubby but can't see a problem unless your flight is delayed like we were suppose to meet up with Moo a few years back.

We are looking into getting some data and minutes put on one of our phones so we might be able to get a hold of you if we are late.

Am so excited to meet again! Now could I pick you out of a crowd now is another story... Maybe I will have to have you stand with a sign pointing me in the right direction. Which place do you think would be better?

Nab, I put on 40 lbs and a few years since we last met (quit smoking), so you might have to hold up a sign since you wont recognize me, LOL. Seriously though, I think I would recognize you and the kids. I would prefer the pool bar, we could have a nice drink (or at least I could ). Phone number would be good, I might have a work conflict come up as well. Let me know, and I can pm you my cell.

Hope you have a great WDW visit and cruise, Nabbie! And that you get to meet up with Marita My BIL, SIL, and their family are in Orlando this week. They called Don to wish him a happy birthday today and said it was sunny and 80!

Sure wish I could join you on the cruise again!!! Mari and I have talked about possibly doing a mother/daughter cruise next spring. But they are in the process of buying a house, so that'll keep them busy for a while! I think we'll probably visit once they've settled in.

hello...I have missed the chats here..

So another six below this morning in our area...it has been so cold that we are wondering why we are living in Maine...hahahaha..

Here it is March already...hubby is almost done the upstairs bathroom...what started out as a ceiling removal of the swirls...ended up putting in a new ceiling, new medicine cabinets..three mirrors, new back splash and tile around the middle area, then paint it all and then we decided there were a few cracks on the floor tile...so that is in progress now...oy oy oy..

We are 57 days out until our Disney vacation...have to find a new bathing suit...have one but I like to be a two suit person......we are going with our son and daughter in law and two munchkins...can hardly wait...we have had one wicked horrible cold, snowy and icy winter...started in November and still going on...can only hope for a warm hot summer...

We are staying at All Star Sports....decided on this one so our "family" would be able to stay close to us too..

Our friends are at All Star Music suites...they are a family of six ..so this place would work out for them...they checked in yesterday and already on the go go go....I know they are warmer then we are...hahaha..

Have a good vacation those who are going to the House of the Mouse and cruising with him too...

Sadly, Nabs and my meeting plans were dashed by a work meeting that popped up that I can't miss.

Maybe when I am retired (1 year, 4 months). But then you never know, I might retire earlier or later, but hopefully before I kick the bucket.

Oh. I forgot to mention: Remember the boyfriend that left my daughter last year all of a sudden after they moved into the house my FIL left her? Well, she texted him to wish him happy birthday, and they ended up talking for 9 hours, and he admitted to being a complete idiot. They are trying again, just taking it slow.

Maybe next time Marita, have to get Moo to join us. I was scared I would keep you waiting if our plane gets delayed with the snow we are having right now.

I'm not like the rain for Thursday but it is snowing here and the roads are pretty slippery right now. So I will take the rain.

Pumba-- we are so tired of this winter weather it is not funny. Your right it started in Nov. or maybe in Oct and never stopped. It is the wind and cold temps. I packed my bathing suit but I think I only had this one on once so I'm good.

Moo-- a mother/daughter cruise would be so much fun!

My feet are still wet from this afternoon. But all is good now that the rain stopped. We are at Epcot watching fireworks right now after dinner at Leceiler.

we were warm this morning..only 4 below and now it is 8..I can take any temp as long as I stay in the house..hahaha..

The furnace man was here for over two hours and had to replace a thingie...but it took two hours to warm up this big stinking house...I love to be warm...

Nab, it was supposed to be 75 and sunny today, so I wore a thin blouse on a truck tour of the AK Lodge savannah. I about FROZE to death, mostly because of the wind! But it was a great tour.

Tomorrow is supposed to be warmer, take heart!

It is actually suppose to warm up into the mid 50's tomorrow. Wow a heat wave.
