Moo'vers 2012 Edition! come on in!

Marita - My drive is only about 25 minutes, and that is bad enough, so I really feel for you!

Being home for over a month has been great even though my activities were very limited the first few weeks. At least I can get out and do a few things now when I don't have to get to my PT appointments or do my exercises at home!!!

morning...WiNDS STILL...I felt like I was going to get blown down the road when I went to get my newspaper...it is still wicked strong....they had photos of peoples roofs going away...
We had a good night last night...went to Walmart and got some travel size stuff...and good ol' toilet paper...having two bathrooms and one was used for the contractors...three weeks of MEN using my bathroom(yuck) (toilet paper went fast)...we called it the urinal...well hubby did...so yesterday I scrubbed it down with clorox...every part of it..smells a lot better...hahaha..

Today I will try to get my clothes together and put those in the suitcase...hubby said to hide the suitcase cause megara will throw a hissy again...dont want her to stress yet...she slept all night and we covered her up..cause it was in the low 30s last night...freezing...and cold enough to snow but only snowed up north more...so hubby woke her up this morning and ME TOO...geesh...whats wrong with sleeping till seven on a morning when I dont have to get up....MEN...hahaha..

see you all later gators...Cocka doodle dooooooo...:faint:

Cold and windy here too. But the sun is shining, frost on the roof tops.

This is the only day of the week I get to sleep in because we have church on Sundays and school the rest. Had to get up and get Hannah off . She is on a field trip to the Toronto Zoo with the Guides. Told her to take her mittens with her.

Of course Hubby and Nicholas are snoozing away. I will give hubby a pass since he worked 5 days in a row and 12 hours each. Really they are not to work so many days but it just worked out that way because he was on another crew for bit and had to go back to his own crew so they piggy backed.

Pumba-- I have 2 full bathrooms and 2 half ones. I hate cleaning bathrooms too but it must be done. And Nicholas has bad aim I tell you.....

Marita-- I would hate a 45 minute commute too. I don't know how people around here are on the highway sometimes 2 hours in traffic. Hubby is lucky he only has a 10 minute if that drive. He used to have a half hour where we used to work. He like that so he could relax and unwind by himself before he got home.

morning everyone...

IT is 50 degrees right now...so we are warming up I hope...have a great deal to do but will do it ..EVENTUALLY...

Went to the chinese buffet last night and ate crab legs...they were so sweet and delicious...when I eat those and just dribble some butter on them ..I just love the flavor...

I forgot to take my pills...good bye..

Pumba-- did you take your pills....

It was nice out today, a bit breezy but the sun was shining.

Spent most of the day outside. Made the kids do some yard work with us. Hannah got to pull all the danilions , I was edging and pulling weeds and hubby and Nicholas were trying to get a few trees that started growing in two of my flowerbeds out. Should have had them out a few years back and were just cutting them off , well of course now they are trees well rooted. But they are gone now. :woohoo: I'm sure we all will be sore tomorrow. Still have to take all the branches and weeds to the dump. Made the bags too heavy for regular pick up.

Now I can just sit and watch my shows tonight , Amazing Race and Celebrity Apprentice. I know I watch reality too much.

Hi, stopping in to say hi.

Nice to see you all again.

Finished up the rest of my classes, and I have the spring/summer off. In the Fall I do my Student Teaching for 18 weeks and i am done. I graduate in December. I have 12 weeks of teaching with special education and 6 weeks with general education this Fall. I finished this semester with all A's.

I have been subbing and love it. I recently got a call from the district my kids go to and interviewed with them. It went really good and hope they will be calling soon to put me in their pool. It just helps with short distance driving and keep me closer to my kids.

My Mal is making her Communion in a few weeks so planning her party and all those details are keeping me busy, it is strang not to have something nagging at me like homework. But I have enough small fires buring to keep me busy.

Wish there was a DW trip in our future, but nope, just can't afford one. We really miss the money I made before, but that will change when I graduate and get a job!

A few mommy things: My Matt was recognized last week for service to our church which made a so proud. My Zack took the 8th grade equivalent ACT test and he scored the best in his school, and 99% better than those who took it in the country. I was wowed; I knew he would score well, but not that high. I hope that means a full ride to a college in his future. My Maddy is reading already at 4, and Malorie is a beautiful writer.

I hope to come around more often, I know I always say that, but Disney is just calling me and I miss you all!
~Monica

Great to see you Mony! Congrats on all your good news :)

Nice weather in my neck of the woods, but cold and rainy again today. One more week until I go back to work :( I went to my surgeon's office to get a cortisone shot in my non-surgery knee this morning. I also got my return to work slip and a prescription for some more pain meds. Then I went to PT without having had a chance to take a pain pill. Ouch!!! Don't think I'll be doing that again!

/
when hubby was doing PT with his arm...that he broke and dislocated......he would take one of the strong meds right before he went over the bridge to get there...that way ...they would start to be working when they "beat up on him" that is what he called it....the pt didnt work for long..his arm is curved up and cant straighten out still...but he can use it and that is what matters.
This mornign he had the stitches out of his second carpal tunnel surgery one...this hand is bothering him more then the first surgery...but he has two weeks before he goes back to the surgeon and sees what she thinks...maybe that week in disney will help him relax it more..
Have a good day

Mony-- proud parent moments indeed. :goodvibes Spring and summer off sounds good.

Our church just finished up the First Communion kids, now on to the Confirmations. We usually sit in the front row behind the choir but when we have these we take the very back row so all the families can get up close. They only let each family have one pew. The rest have to sit behind the rest. Love seeing the girls in there dresses. Hannah's Confirmation will be next year.

It has been raining off and on all day with a cold wind. Just to remind us it is April still not June.

Moo-- Hope the pain has died down a bit for, did you take your pill after?

Pumba-- relax in WDW sounds wonderful. And it will be warm too...

Yep, I took my pain pill after (had to pick the new meds up at the pharmacy) and had a nap after I got home. My doctor's appointment was much earlier than I am used to getting up and that took its toll!!!

Pumba - Where I'm going for PT, there are a lot of people with shoulder issues. the therapist told me that shoulders take a lot longer to rehab than knees. Hope your hubby feels better soon!

One of my coworkers hurt her knee playing soccer Sunday -- possibly a torn ACL or meniscus :( She's still waiting to get the call for her MRI. I feel bad for her . . .

Getting my teeth fixed this morning. Due to grinding I wore the front top teeth pretty bad and the sensitivity was becoming an issue. The first ones didn't match my color, so hopefully these will. Tired of wearing the ugly tempory ones plus I can't bit anything the normal way.

I'd rather spend this money on a WDW vacation............

Have a great day!

They say it is going to be warm today...:cool1:

Off to the dentist for a regular cleaning. Hope they don't find anything wrong. They keep mentioning crowns but I keep putting that off. To much money. I do have one though.

Mony-- I grind my teeth too. My teeth have gotten smaller over the years but not so much lately. They never mention that in years so maybe I stopped. :confused3

Moo-- Biggest Loser finale tonight , who do you want to win? If I had to pick out of the three left I hope it is Kim who wins.

Yeah, Kim is the one I'd prefer to see win over the drama siblings! They're all looking pretty good :)

Moo-- I was with you , glad Conda didn't win but you know Jermey will share that money with her some how. Kim looked great. Conda couldn't walk in those shoes. :lmao: Even Santa looked much better with that beard trimmed up. There are a lot that still need to lose alot more. But I know how hard it is to stick to it and lose.

Goodwill is coming next week to do a pick up so guess I will spend a day cleaning up a closet. I think I will hit Hannah's first. Everything is falling out of that one and she definitely is out growing her clothes. Looks like rain anyway, good day to stay in.

yup sort of a misty day here too..
SO I am listing and planning and packing and looking to see what I forgot ..kinda day..
Today in the mail I received my free pair of flip flops from Ipanema USA...omgoodness they are so comfy and I dont like flip flops...and good sole on them..
Over on facebook there is this freebies4everyone ...and there are sites that give away stuff...so I said what the heck I will try it...so far so good..

Have a good day everyone

Sounds like a fun kind of day, Pumba! Yay on the free flip flops :) Sure wish I could be making my own Going to WDW list!!!

Nabbie - Gloomy but warmer day here. I caught Don's cold and am still having breathing issues today :( I rescheduled my PT to tomorrow because I couldn't sleep last night.

Mony - Hope you got your chompers fixed!

I did get them fixed. I really thought they were a good color match and went with it. My snotty son has a different opinion and made a very big deal how "what's up with your teeth? They are huge and white!" comment.

I really didn't know what to say to him so I said nothing. I think they are the size teeth are supposed to look. He is used to my teeth that were made smaller to fix the chips from years past. I think he just needs to get used to it.

One of my friends made an off comment too, which really surprised me, but you know what, I like them. I have to get used to them for sure. They are thicker and longer of course and I have to adjust. I will have long nails now, since I can't bit them anymore, bad habit of mine. And I have to cut up foods since I can't use these to bit with.

On a happier note I rejoined Weight Watchers this week, thanks to my mom and have lost 6 pounds.

Munching on carrots and hummus at the moment.

I got to sub yesterday for a special education pre-school program. Loved it! With my background with working in child care all those years I should have considered an early childhood background. It is not too late though. I could totally see myself doing that as a career. The parapro I worked with asked me to leave my number, she said I worked wonderfully with the kids and sure do have the partience.:goodvibes. Those kids did have the energy though!

Have a blessed day.

Mony - Glad you got your teeth fixed and are happy with them! I developed a gap between my two front teeth after having braces as an adult but I'm too chicken to get it fixed.

Still working on getting over this cold. Grrr. It reminds me not to take breathing freely for granted!

I did manage to make it to PT today after bailing yesterday. And I get to go again tomorrow!!! At least my knee is feeling pretty good.

I have been waiting to hear from my sister. Her MIL is on her last days they were called up to the hostpital on Thursday but she is still hanging on. Her birthday was last Sunday she turned 82 adn her 60th wedding anniversary is May 12. She has breast, lung and back cancer so cancer is just eating her up it is so sad. This coming off of losing my MIL.

What beautiful weather we are having. No coats yesterday or today. We are heading out to the Maple festival they have downtown here. Usually it is raining for it so I can imagine all the people that will be there.

Hope everyone is having just as good weather and is getting out and enjoying it!
