I just got a personal email, more detailed asking for help from Sandy "insert maiden name"

Incredible how fast they get information!:sad2:

Thank you mony - I hope I have gotten my stuff back - but I have no idea about the hacker still possesing the emails they took? :confused3

please keep me informed if you get more emails.. I know it was my yahoo account that was hacked... :furious:

IT WAS HOT Monday! Really Really REALLY hot! went from 50's on Friday to 90 on Monday - 3 days of RAIN, to HOT!! and we forgot sunscreen! Lots of burned skin (not me, I stayed indoors- I get boat sick )

oh, and Sunday's storm was so bad it blew a transformer - we were 19 HOURS with no electricity, no flushing toilets - we drove to the gas station! :rotfl2: up a 6am - went to McDonalds - they lost electricity too - got it back at 6:30, no computers, they were using hand held calculators! SO GLAD we had cash!! no eggs or meat (they had to clean everything, since power went out the day before around 5pm!) but they had coffee for dh, tea for me!!

I HAVE to buy a swim suit.... :( I dont wanna... just thinking of stuffing this sausage body of mine into a suit is a huge downer..

Pumba - I had been wondering where you were!!!

Adding my Happy Birthday and Happy Anniversary wishes!

Well, I finally had a bit of success with my shopping after work tonight. I think I need to show my sister and/or some friends to get their opinions on a couple outfits though. I bought a dress, but it's one of those super long maxi dresses. I think I'll like it really well if I get it shortened to calf length. It goes all the way to the floor and drags! :scared1: Not my idea of a good dress for summer!!! I'm trying to find things I can take on my cruise this winter in addition to being able to wear them to my conference in a couple weeks :goodvibes I will need something for formal night on the cruise and I really don't have any dressy clothes right now.

Our darn dryer stopped tumbling again last night  Hopefully the guarantee on the repair from a couple weeks ago will cover the service charge.

Happy Birthday, Pumba!!!
Hope you had a great day:cheer2:
Well, I got a bit of a bombshell tonight. DD is thinking of coming home Thursday for 2 weeks. Invitation to a birthday party, a wedding, and a Lacrosse Scrimmage. yeah, right, worth spending $700 for. :rolleyes1 Her money though. Then flying back to MT same day as us. And then might fly to Hawaii later this summer to see a friend.
She tells me I'll be bored to death in MT, nothing to there. I reminded her that I do nothing at home either, LOL.

Another hot day in store for us but less humidity they say. Haven't been out yet to see.

We lost our game last night but 16-12 not bad since we were missing 2 people and it was our first game since we missed our first 3 to rain. I came prepared with my umbrella and chair pads for the bleachers , others were jealous and said they never thought of using these things. After 7 years you learn....

Moo-- sounds like you found some things on your shopping trip. I need to go out and look for new sandels , I wore my old ones yesterday and they hurt my feet. My Disney crocs are almost worn though I use them so much. Even hubby used them when we camp. Easy to slip on and off just to run outside and do something.

Marita-- That is just crazy for you dd to do. Where does she get her money from is she working? I would love just to fly off to Hawaii too. Guess she will be wanting to drive back home after you visit?

Morning everyone..

It is a wee bit humid today again....but the AC is in and if it gets to much I will turn the sucker on..

Ava came today after four days off and she cried...made me sad to think she is unhappy...but she calmed down and ate her breakfast and is happy again..

We will walk to the Rite Aid store in a bit and then go to Dunkin Donuts and get her a few munchkins...she always loves that treat..

Some one is coming to see the truck today....we are selling the 2003 one...and then we can get rid of that insurance bill on that one.....insuring three vehicles is alot of moola...the car will be slowly taken over by our granddaughter so she can start paying some insurance too....she has a job now .
She goes to Salt Lake for a week long class with some of her co students and a few professors......it is Drug and alcohol related...but she wont have to take it at school...just there and she only had to pay for her air ...
Thanks everyone for the birthday and anniversary wishes.......we had a good weekend ..June first.......cant believe it.....
bye

too much drama at our house last night - and on FB I'd love to respond to the dil about her post "cant I have one holiday without drama" my response, sweetie YOU CAUSED the damned drama!

(she had the police come to our house last night to get "her car" lets see, 2 years of marriage, 2 cars, 2 drivers - but she is right, it is in her name - they did it because his credit was bad... )

but honestly I just want to stay out of it. I just want to pray for the peace of the Lord that He grant peace and Love to prevail, however that should be, as I trust in the Lord - peace and love... and now if He could place the right people in our paths... lawyers...

Hope you had a nice birthday and anniversary Pumba!:wizard:

And I hope everyone had a nice holiday weekend.

School is out for summer, and I am so excited not to be walking around in a winter coat any longer. I was literally wearing one at my kids baseball game last week and then this week we set a record for hottest day in May since 1895! But I love it. I should live in the desert.

Countdown to Disney has begun. I have no idea when I am going to pack between working and shuttling kids and baseball games and basketball tourneys, and Father's Day, and my mom's birthday, and Julia's 18th birthday, and our 20th anniversary, and of course MICHAEL BUBLE!!!!

Maybe I will put off sleeping until July. Brilliant, I know. :cool2:

Twinks thinking of you and your DD - hope all is well!!

GORGEOUS day here . . . low 70s and sunshine, finally!!! I had to stay home this morning for a dryer repair (had to replace the motor $$$) and could not bring myself to go into work this afternoon. Although, I did do a bit of work from home.

Lovely, relaxing day for the most part, and I did a little housework while waiting for the repair guy. Ahhhhh . . .

Nabbie and others to the northeast - hope the great weather is heading your way! :goodvibes

Shout out to bbn! Yay on the WDW and Buble countdown :thumbsup2 I can't wait to spend a few days visiting the Mouse :)

Sandy - Sorry to hear about the DIL drama :headache:

Marita - Sorry about the DD drama! They do what they want to do once they're adults!!!

Ack! I killed the thread again!!!

Maybe everyone was enjoying super nice weather today??! I was stuck inside at work all day but opened the house up once I got home tonight and am listening to all the birds singing.

A coworker gave me some home-grown asparagus again this afternoon, so I roasted it in the oven with a little olive oil and spices and cooked up some Schwan's Philly beefsteak for supper. Yummm.

Thank goodness tomorrow's Friday!

Just been out all day , first with hubby then with Hannah tonight.

It was cold this morning with a wicked wind. Had to wear a jacket today.

The neighbour was getting his roof done today. They started at 7:00 this morning it was crazy. Then it got the back neighbours dogs going so there was getting no sleep after that. I just wanted another 1/2 hour.

Babynurse -- lucky you to have so much to look foward too. We are busy with baseball season now.

I need to get my garage sale stuff together for the weekend. Guess I will be busy tomorrow.

Nab, DD has been working and saving her money (living at home for one). She's landing in a couple of hours. I dont know how she plans to fit a wedding, a birthday party and reffing games into 8 days when all of those are usually on the weekends, and we leave next Saturday :confused3 But, she's 26, her choice.

Hubby booked a hotel at Glacier National Park for 2 nights. The park looks beautiful! At least I get wi-fi in the lobby there, so I can keep up some. The only activity I plan to participate in is a boat tour. No horses or hiking or rafting for me.

Art of Animation tour so far is still on for tomorrow afternoon, preceeded by a pizza lunch. ETA back at the office is 3:30, I predict I will not stay there after working very late this week.

PS: DD took her Lacrosse stick on the plane from Montana, no problem. Layover in Seattle, Security chased her down and made her load them in baggage, as a Lacrosse stick could be a deadly weapon! Like maybe snag a head in the net???????

Marita - hope you'll post a few pictures - DH really wants to go there someday!
and too funny about the Lacrosse stick - both boys played lacrosse... and TSA does have different rules for different airports - I took on glow sticks one year! but they wouldnt let me bring on a wine corkscrew (and its on the "approved" list on the TSA website) but who's going to argue with TSA? :confused3

Moo - I hate to post too much... I guess DS and DIL are now talking civilally (of course she denied to ds that she said those things! I'm staying out of it, I truly am... love. not hate.)

Nab - good luck on your Garage Sale - I've been going to sales forever - this year I'm amazed at the junk - nothing worth buying. well ok one sale had these really lovely set of German Kitchen knives - the set is $150 retail - they wanted $100 for them! :rotfl: um, no. Yes, they are worth it, but not at a garage sale from this buyer!!

Marita - Glad to hear your hubby booked a hotel at Glacier for a couple nights! There's a lot to be said for just relaxing at a lodge - maybe they'll have some rocking chairs on a porch with a fantastic view :goodvibes

Sandy - Glad things have calmed down a bit for your son :grouphug: I don't go to garage sales much, but my MIL was an avid garage saler. She had tons of Depression glass and knickknacks from that. I have a few of her things, but my hubby had to live with all his mom's clutter, so he "encouraged" me to be selective and not take too much of her glassware. I have it pretty well contained in china cabinets so it's too not overpowering and doesn't just gather dust!

Nabbie - Did you get prepped for your garage sale? Hopefully, you'll be getting some of this fantastic weather that we've been having :)

Well, we finally made it to the tour of the Art of Animation rooms today.
Took a 10 passenger company van out to the boonies. The rooms are mock-ups set up in an unconditioned warehouse. Pretty cool thing though, they have mock hallways with a mirror at the end (the suite rooms have INSIDE rooms), so you get the illusion of a long hallway. Once you slide the mirror over, the hallway for the next theme appears. 3 hallways in all.

I love the layout of the suites. You enter the room and see a little table with 4 chairs around it. This is attached to a murphy bed. Just move the chairs, and the table collapses under the bed. Very Cool. Then off to the left a bit is a bathroom with a tub, with great shower curtains, then a living area with a couch that pulls out to a bed. Toward the right is a bedroom with a queen bed and a bathroom with a shower and there also is a little kitchen area with a microwave and fridge. No balcony, but I think it''s a great value and will be extremely popular.
I think the Nemo room was my favorite, but they were all cute, if a little heavy in theming, but heck, I'd stay in any in a second

Oh, when you pull down the murphy bed, there is a picture on the back wall. Very cute. I forgot what Lion King had, but Nemo had Nebo and Dora snuggling on the bottom of the sea and Cars had the tow truck snozing in a barn. Very cute
I predict these will be wildly popular. No pictures were allowed, they are still tinkering with the final design.

Ops, NOT Nebo and Dora, Smidgy might get upset, LOL. Nemo and Dora!

Well I was ready for my garage sale...was out by 8:00 and by 10:00 the heavy rains and thunderstorm came. Good think I had tarps to put over stuff. I looked like rain.

Didn't do too bad made $155.00. A big chunck of that was $80. for the kids Radio Flyer wagon. It went to a good home. The little girl was barely walking. The neighbours down the street came after the woman was going to call her husband about it , I told them it was spoken for ....their youngest is in grade one so they wouldn't have used it long anyway ( plus I really don't like these kids for many reasons.)

Marita -- Those rooms sound pretty cool!

Well have to get Hannah off to a birthday party now.....Then maybe go spend some of my loot or at least go look around.
