Marita - So sad to hear about the aftermath of that accident :(

I forgot to check with my coworker to see where they stayed at Glacier. Busy day at work today. I'll try to remember tomorrow!

I second Sandy's suggestion about the Kindle. I don't have one, but I use the Kindle application on my laptop and smartphone and I have really liked it so far :thumbsup2

Sandy - Very cold here today as well and I'm also hoping that the sun comes back for the holiday weekend! Good thing you have the lake to look forward to!

I've been doing some shopping to try to find a couple new things to wear when I go to Florida next month because I know I'm going to have difficulty dealing with the heat down there!!! I'm not having much luck so far. I figure if I can find some things, I'll be able to wear them this summer and on the cruise in January.

Pumba-- we are in a rain pattern again. Rain overnight a little in the morning then sun/cloud in the day and back to drizzle at night. Sure is making the grass grow and flower come out.

Moo-- I hate clothes shopping. Everything I put on makes me look pregnant because I have that shape. :sad2: All the summer stuff is out you better hurray because they will be bring in the fall/winter stuff in a month or so.

Nicholas chatted with me no FB again last night . He is really enjoying his trip. He went to Saint Joseph's Oratory, the Basilica huge dome is second in height to Saint Peter's Basilica in Rome. Said it was huge and had solid gold walls. He said he loved it.

Now I have to get Hannah ready tonight for camp. Suppose to rain today today , crappy weather for tenting but they will still go. Drop her off at 5:30 pick Nicholas up at 6:30.

Moo what Nab said! Soon all those swimsuits will be gone! :confused3 I spent 4 1/2 hours shopping for DD - all she wanted was denim shorts - not too short, not bermudas either! :confused3 We couldnt find any! I dont even want to know what the bikini looks like she picked! :faint: BUT I could NOT believe - every single suit top had 2 ties (no hooks, just ties - when did THAT happen?)

so knowing how skimpy the suits are, we looked for "board shorts" for her to wear - she tried on a few - but $40? Most of them didnt fit, so we went to Target and bought something in their running store area - $10...

My shape is so "round" I hate shopping! And I know I need to buy a new suit - mine is at least 10 years old! But I hate the way I look!

Nab LOVE that you could chat - I had hoped we'd get to visit Montreal and Quebec - maybe someday!

My DS #2 invited his friend, and his friend's girlfriend (hey, its not going to rain now, and its going up to 90 degrees F on Monday!) where we will put all these people? :confused3 Everyone is going to be heading out on the road -it will be standstill traffic.. oh boy.. :sad2:

Sandy - I received a strange FB message from you. You may want to change your password in case your account was hacked!

Here I am!

I found out at noon by a phone call from my SIL that my FB account and yahoo acount had been hacked (glad I didnt have my comcast account linked in FB!)

I have had to change my password about 10 times - I cannot remember them at all!

WHAT A PITA! :furious:

I'm sorry to inconvenience my FB friends -

sad that, I hardly used that account - and now? I'll never know what my future ex DIL is posting! :rotfl:

(must find humor... must find humor!)

Again, forgive me :worship:

I even had FB settings set to the httpS! :confused3
and I'm on a mac!

DH - my computer software engineer geek came home at lunchtime to try and help! He looked into my software, scrubbed, cleaned ran security programs... :confused3

Sandy, I got you plea for help too, LOL. Stupid people didnt even include instructions where to send the money! Not that I believed it anyway.

Nothing much to report here. Hubby has a Kindle, he doesn't use it much, he prefers books, so we shall see how that goes.

Another forecast next week, blech, but at least I dont have to work on Monday.

Dont even get me started on clothes, I went from a size 8 to a 12 in the last few months and fallen back into my bad habit of tacos and fettucini :rolleyes1 I need to buy some jeans this weekend for the trip, and some other clothes, i need some more casual tops and some shorts, maybe, not sure if I really need them in Montana.

Sandy - Hope you got your FB problem straightened out! I have a Mac too and was just reading that they are being targeted a bit more lately. DON'T click on anything that is called MacDefender or MacCleaner. They're going to be pushing an operating system upgrade to help deal with those viruses.

Marita - I went shopping again tonight at some places I haven't shopped at for a while (Macy's, Younkers, J.C. Penney's, and Kohl's) and couldn't find diddly squat. It should not be so difficult to find a couple cute summer tops!!! Almost everything has is sleeveless or has cap sleeves. Ughhh! I prefer to have the tops of my arms covered!

At least they are still making the undies I like, so I stocked up on those. Thank goodness J.C. Penney's keeps them in stock, LOL!

I think I may try the outlet mall at some point this weekend.

Nabbie - I found some tops that are sort of that "maternity" style! Yuck. I can't even find a decent dress

Moo Yes, I've seen those - one page I couldnt do anything to close it - dh showed me how to get rid of it! Hate Scammers!

ITA on the shopping situation! I'm just wearing HUGE tshirts for now!

Marita dh doesnt have suggestions, other than he wants to go!

Hoping this weather gets warm, and all rain moves OUT of the way!!

I've gotten that from a few friends over the months. What I don't get is that these people believe that we are actually going to fall for it. Why would anyone go through fb looking for help in that compacity???

Sandy refriend me, so I know I am getting the right you. I blocked you so they couldn't access any of my info.

Hope everyone's having a nice holiday weekend! Today was my day to catch up on sleep . . . ZZZzzz. And laze around the house all day. I finally feel rested :goodvibes

My sister and I are going to go clothes shopping tomorrow. Hope we are able to find some things!

Sandy - I'm also hoping for some warmer, dryer weather. We still have a huge pond in our side yard.

I appreciate that you had to block me - makes me :furious: that hackers/spammers enjoy causing havoc to strangers!

I was shocked that one of my friends actually took out 1400 from her bank - she was so distraught (she is around my age - and we barely know each other - she did the hair for DS wedding 2 years ago - that was the last I had seen her, or talked to her! She JUST recently - a month ago - got a FB account! and yet, she was going to send me money, knowing I was hurting, she wanted to be there for me!! I still cant get over her generosity of spirit - and I'm ever so grateful that she finally tracked down my cell # she said until she heard my voice that I was being hacked, she couldnt in good faith not believe it!! She emailed him twice too! I know her from Boy Scouts basic adult leader training - she lives 45 min from me - it just boggles the mind the kindness and depth of friendship!)

Moo Last night was torrential rain here in north east Indiana - unbelievable!! BUT the sun is a shining, it feels warm - the lake is freezing cold tho!

Mimosas for breakfast!! :wizard:

I just got a personal email, more detailed asking for help from Sandy "insert maiden name"

Incredible how fast they get information!:sad2:

I am so bored, I could scream!

Still hunting for a place to stay in Glacier Park. Apperently there are some places with TV and even internet, but havent settled on one yet, and I am tired of looking.
Tried calling the kids today to see what they were up to and got a very snitty DD on the line. Apparently they decided to check out Butte (Bute?) and have lunch there. Turnes out the town was dead, so they drove 2 hours each way just to eat. SHe was not in a good mood!

Nothing on TV tonight, I can't find anything good online either. I might just work, HAHA!

We getting some really humid weather here, suppose to be all week. Windows are shut and air is on already. I was hoping to get to a least June before turning it on. But Hubby is on night shift and would never sleep with the heat.

Kids have track and field on Wed. too. That should be fun.

So this is your long weekend , does that mean people are off today?

Marita-- Bored! Did work on your day off. :scared1: I get those days since I am always home, I wish I could turn to work but don't I turn to food and eat all day.

Moo-- It's nice to sleep in isn't. People think I have it nice staying home but I still have to get up and get the kids off to school.

Where on the final month of school, Nicholas goes until June 23rd since he has Graduation then and Hannah has to go to June 29th.

Yes, Nabbie - off work today!!! It is hot and humid here too. Just put the AC on.

Well, I found a couple things while shopping yesterday. My sister did way better than I did. A lot of the colors that are out this year work better for her than for me, but I did find one outfit. One top that I liked was $65, so I asked if it was on sale. Nope . . . guess I can live without it  Decided not to pay all that extra for the designer's name. I was a couple other things I liked, but they didn't have my size, so I may check some other stores to see if I can find my size.

But the bottom line is that I need to get cracking and lose some more weight :rolleyes1

I'm like you Moo I will not pay that much for a top. I wait for sales too but then the sizes are picked over. I live in mostly t shirts anyway.

The air is on here too. They are expecting the first heat alert tomorrow and thunderstorms.

Nab, no, I didnt actually end up working yesterday, but I sure came close.

Bought some new jeans in a (GASP!) larger size yesterday and about 4 casual tops for vacation and ordered a pair of sandals too and got a couple of books. Hubby has about 3 hotels lined up to call tomorrow to book.

Sandy, amazing about that distant friend of yours pulling money from the bank for you, WOW!

Did some work from home today as it is forecast week again, but didnt go to work, w00t! Still bored though, nothing on TV. I was watching a replay of the opening statement of the Casey Anthony trial today, fascinating. Nancy Grace calls her "Tot Mom", which really gets on my nerves, nobody here calls her that.
Anyway, back to work tomorrow and a long day. Art of Animation model room tour on Friday, unless it gets cancelled yet AGAIN!

Moo and Nab: Are you watching Extreme Makeover - Weight Loss Edition? I'm watching the first show now

Marita - I'm not watching that show, but may check it out on-line later this week. Sorry I wasn't able to find out where my friends stayed at Glacier. Busy work week and they traveled over the holiday weekend.

Let us know what you think of the Art of Animation model room, if you get to see it! I read on a trip report that that is the hotel that they're finally finishing near Pop Century. They really can use some more Value rooms.

Hot day here, so hubby and I went to see the Pirates movie this afternoon. I liked it better than the last one, overall, even though I'm not a Penelope Cruz fan. I thought it was a lot easier to understand Capt. Jack this time. We stayed all the way through the credits in case there was a little extra at the end, even though everyone else left the theater . . . and we were rewarded (even though it was very short)!

Heat Advisory today , Hannah just asked if they could cancel school for that. No because their school has air conditioning. I remember having to have classes outside under a tree when I went to school when the classrooms were to hot. Never got sent home.

Marita--I didn't catch that show either. I was watching Surprise Homecomings on TLC . The Bachelortte sucked me in again because there is nothing else on .:sad2:

Tonight is baseball ,we are going to melt. I am going to take my colourful golf umbella to sit under, they thought I was crazy when I bought the colourful one instead of the dark one .No shade at this park just metal bleachers.
