You can't make a Minnie dress other than with red dots, otherwise it is NOT a Minnie dress, duh!

Minnie wears other clothes sometimes. There are some really cute designs on Etsy. I think I am going to go for the red/white and I'm going to add minnie head pockets. She'll never wear it again after that though, so I can pass it on to Twinkie for her imaginary late fall trip.

It is really cold out there today in the minuses again. Feels like fall instead of spring. I hope it warms up for the weekend I want to send my guess out to the backyard.

Been cleaning up a storm. My problem is when I start cleaning a room I do a deep clean which takes me all day. I have both kids rooms done now. Haven't even touched the main rooms. I swear Hannah is going to be on that Hoarders show one day, the stuff she saves all in little containers or purses.

Tonight I am relaxing and watching Biggest Loser. Will record Idol. Haven't really got into that this season.

NAB, I really need to do deep cleaning. I am lucky to get surface cleaning done! No time to do it when I work and when I have a day off I feel like I need to take the day off, vacation, you know, LOL! Only tme I ever get around to it is at Christmas time when I have lots of company coming over. But I must say, not having kids in the house sure helps!

Darn work stuff never ends! Just when you think you have time to do something you need to do, another fire drill pops up! Good to have my new assistant here now, but she is know and still has a big learning curve before she will be much help.

Getting ready to make some tacos for dinner.

I got one of my new suits out today to wear for tomorrow. Either I never wore it before after alterations, or I wore it with the tag on the pants, LOL

Yesterday was the longest day of my life! 12 hours at school. This is gonna take some getting used to. But it went good, except when I found out other students got higher grades than I did in last semesters class........found out Dr. Z "lost" some of my final. Like I would not turn anything in, geesh! I always go above and beyond and he should have realized that and called me. He does, because he said print it again and just bring it to Thursday's class.

What if I didn't ask the others what they got? Now I know better when I have him as an instructor.


That fire I told you all about, my sister forwarded, (is that a word?) the pictures I took to their local newspaper, and they used one of them on the front page of the Yale Expositor. Didn't know I had photojournalist-as-be-alla-doe-shish skillz?!


Off to take a Math Final and be done with the community college forevah! After today, I'm strickly a University Student. Ohhhh Ahhhhh.

My lil princess looks really good in red so that would be awesome and I a may or may not have a room only reservation just in case! From jaw to jaw it is 11.25 inches. From forehead to back of the neck is about 10 inches... that is a really hard measurement to get. She did not like it.




I have been/am sick too-- maybe allergies? maybe a bad cold? Plus my parents were in town for Mother's Day/princess dedication at church. Plus today is Goldenchild's 5th birthday! So I have been busy.



We have had cold temps here too NAB. Sorry about the work stress Marita. Cel- I thought I had beat the ants but last night they staged a counterattack. Birthday doughnuts seem to be the attractive nuisance. I am back to spraying and scrubbing. Ugh. Good luck on your math final Mony! I know you don't need it though.


Other princess news: She can roll over from tummy to back. She likes a good joke- or if you just talk to her earnestly. She hates the binky but loves to suck her fists.

My top floor is sparkling. Do you think I could rope off the stairs until Sunday?

Twinkie-- I know it i s cold in your area my sister is close by. She flew in Sunday and the place she works for gave her an umbrella for the week. She emails me every day.

Mony-- good luck! Good think you get your other paper remarked.

Marita-- That is really funny. I have walked around with a price tag under the arm before or the thing sticker they put on the front that say small, med. etc.

Moo-- Did you watch BL. I felt so bad for Michael. The rest are looking really good. I hope it is Koli that gains 2 pounds next week. I used to like him but last few shows I haven't. I want Michael, Daris and Ashley to be the final three. We get to vote for the third person after the next show , between the two that fall below the yellow line.

Well better get back at it I have two more floors to clean. Maybe the basement next....no can't do that Hubby has to sand some spots and paint the stairway tomorrow. Living Room it is .

Soooooooo glad that class is over! I headed out of there and went straight to the bookstore to sell back the books. Then went straight to the bank and got a cashiers check made out to WDTC. Kid you not and it's already in the mailbox.

Then I came home and listed 10 others on Craigslist. Hope they sell.

I have been thinking up ideas on how to pay off this trip:

Go to DTE Energy (pine knob) and collect all the empties from the drunks in the parking lot while they are inside enjoying the concert. Since its an outdoor arena, I can still hear the concert and only pay $5.00 to park.

Go to Comerica Park and collect all the empties from the drunks along the parking lots, but I may have some competition there.

Hope that I enroll 5 more kids to watch tomorrow?

I think I'll pick pine knob, at least it has some entertainment value.

Hell, B! Long time no see . . . do you have any WDW trips planned?

Nabbie - So glad I don't need to clean my house right now-cleaning for Easter was a pain! But it'll be worth it when your house is looking great!

I didn't like Michael's tantrum last night, but I can relate to how he's feeling that he has so much more to lose than everyone else. I'm sure that Shay felt that way last season. It will definitely be interesting to see who gains that weight next week! I'm hoping Ashley hangs in there.

Congrats, Mony!!! Hope you can get your grade straightened out.

Hi to B, our favor lurker. You could say more, you know! Like did you get a/c car seats?

Quiet but busy day at work today. Had leadership meeting which was the last for our COnventions manager. so the culinary team whipped up a farewell lunch. Unfortunately, I had lunch just before (again - 2 out o 2), but lunches are not usually a part of the meeting. Anyway, I just had some fabulous Wisconsin chedddar-bacon soup. I have the recipe if anyone wants it.

Anyway, busy but quiet day at work, then I got home and found 4 urgent emails. One from my director, asking about some labor overages (1 area and about 4-5 other hotels) and what are the plans to get back on track So I spent quite some time on that and tried to reach the boss to run my answer by him, but no luck, so I sent it off......

Did you hear about the announcement about Pop II? Disney's Art of Animation Resort. 1,120 family suites and 800+ rooms, opening in phases in 2012. Themes are Nemo, Little Mermaid, Cars and Lion King. Should be awesome

DS got his check for first house yesterday finally, paid off credit card and bought a lawn mower. He said he is almost a man now, LOL. He's 30! Still needs a wife though

Need to get something to eat and maybe do some more work (or not)

OH, almost forgot, have you seen the new show on WE "Sunset Daze". Reality show about seniors in Arizona Sun City, I think the tag line is Golden gilrs meet New Jersey Housewives" or something like that. Anyway. great show. see it, Wed 10 pm EST and repeats saturday!

Decided to dust off the tread mill and read while I walked. I do so much sitting in class I couldn't sit and read tonight. I think it actually helped me absorb more from the text.

Moo, I havent had DVC to hate for months when I was in the other job, and so far it hasnt been to bad at the new job. Sure to heat up as we move into annual budgets (which determine your fees BTW). so be nice to me.....

I might go cruising with my son in November, we shall see. But probably not on Disney, although we might... wouldnt it be funny to run into B

DD posted some pics from her Wa****ington trip on FB tonight, about the only way I get to see pics of the guy, LOL. So I copied some of them, just in case........

There is plenty of "manna" on the floor this morning. Isaac left a ton under his chair and Ellie is also dropping more than she eats. We call that lunch.

Chad texted(sent me a text, texted is being flagged by spell check) me this morning that he has to work this Saturday and next. So that's good. I have lots to keep me busy sewing and planning. We are 13 days out and all I've done are make ADRs and print out a bunch of TGM stuff to plan my days.

1. Duh. The legos could be resold on ebay or craigslist.
2. No manna here today. Yesterday when I asked the birthday boy what kind of cake he wanted he said "No cake. Just doughnuts. Doughnuts are awesome." So we had doughnuts... and amazingly there isn't a crumb on the floor.


Another rainy day here after an exciting night weather wise. Is it wrong to be hoping that kids sports practice is canceled tonight????
