Sandy, no idea how DH is doing, we dont see each other during the week. Free champagne sound good!

Nab, yay for your own wheels! :thumbsup2

I have to redo my shopping list for this weekend. Eventually....

Twinkie thanks you for this usefu post.

38 weeks and we don't have a name. Ladasha is NOT on the list- but maybe it should be. I had not considered using punctuation.

Maybe ,,,,CamilleLeighonne

Where are the bbn and the peej with all sorts of name suggestions????

had a 12 hour fast blood test and you know what in the cup test too.....strange thing is if I get up after sleeping all night I cant wait to go to the lab to give them some more and then I am empty if I do go at home.......sooooooo TMI I set my head alarm for 3:30 am and went then ....so got up at seven and made my mind go on other things.....went and got my blood sucked and did my other deed.......by the time i got home it was 14 hours since I had anything to eat and my bs was HIGH.......it needed some food to stabilize it .....some times it is low because I dont eat...but not having that night time snack makes me high in the morning......weird I know.

Just asked hubby what do you want to do today......not much to do here in the house.(well not that I couldnt do the kitchen floor) but lets do something else.....

so he is thinking about it.......rolling eyes here of course....

Megara is laying in her sunbeam......she loves to do that .....just like us soaking up the rays ......we all need a little D.......actually now that I have taken my 2000 units of D for one month and then 1000 units a day forever...my D is good now......alot of people in the northern areas are deficient in D.....also take calcium (when I remember) besides my other four pills......yah I look like a junkie :woohoo:

My new nieces that have been born in the last few years are
Alivia
Brielle
Ava Marie
Megan (my little grandkid)
Elisabeth
Elizabeth
Eva Marie
Anjulee (gift of God)

Hi :wave2: I'm another one of Sandy's friends dropping in.

Hello Dolce.....welcome ....

Tell us something about you .......and Lisa too.

I am Marie, from Maine...regardless of my name on the boards I am not a pig...HONEST...
I have been married for almost 43 years..(yup my kids are probably older then most on this post) We have two kids....and four grandkids.....love being both a mom and gramma.....best of two worlds..
We have a doggie that thinks she owns the place ...she is a 5 year old Dalmatian named Megara Athena....she is a great doggie ...(sometimes)
So Again Welcome

:lmao:..nabby girl, ...you remember :flower3: my old trip reports.

ha!...you are soooo right. wdw "is"..the prefect place...for anyone

....to "polish" ~up their social skills. [ i have no idea/expectation
..on any trip....except...i know there is going to be....opportunities
....for encounters, some very magical in~deeds. ]

*sometimes..it is best....not being an expert & needing assistance.

:rolleyes1

..yes, backie, what a pickle...we're in. [ this care~free vacation
sure seem liked all the rest,

however, what i felt...this biggest challenge....was determining the
...facts of the situation. [ we wouldn't want to be responsible getting
our guide into trouble...for things..out of his control-getting sick]

& though..it created us problems...when we thought about whether
or not...his "promises"..were reasonable, ...made the difference on
how...we did our corrective measures. based on this, we/i made sure
those in charge....that our problems/situation were not.. his
fault...& overall, we still believe his intentions had good merits.

..yep, so while ...some things fell thru, we feel pretty good @
recovery.

you know?..on the dvc site....someone asked...why pay the high
cost..for blt? wow..i can't believe that none of the responses
covered the same factors......that we "used" in getting there.

[ to me , they were the most obvious, but i guess.....it's true,
common sense isn't so common, :wizard:]

Twinkie - Whatever name you decide, I'm sure it will be awesome. Your other kids have great names!

Taxes are filed we should have our money deposited in 10 business days and then we'll pay the remaining $700 that we owe on our truck so we can start trying to sell it. Woot!

Welcome, Dolce!

MP, YAY for tax refund. I end up paying every year. Every year I swear I will increase my weekly deduction and never do....

Twinkie, I found the name on some thread on the CB about strange baby names. LOL about the ,,,, name!

And indeed, where are BBN and Peej?????????

Well, it finally warmed up here, but big storm is coming tonight. Looked like rain all afternoon (why does that alway happen on weekends) so I didn't feel like going grocery shopping. BUT, the deciding factor was that I was 100% out of coffee:scared1: So I ventured out and bought a ton of stuff, which is still sitting in my kitchen waiting to be put away. I had big plans for cooking today, but not gonna happen  Still hopeful for making cheesecake though. and maybe banana bread, and maybe slice up some veggies to get ready for tomorrow (either beef stew or accidental ragout of beef soup). Or maybe not, and I'll make chicken livers stroganoff tomorrow, or Monday. Or something else like chicken a la king, or nothing :rolleyes1

Speaking of cheesecake, I sliced up strawberries yesterday that were in danger, and soaked them in sugar to get syrupy. Going to put some on a cheesecake. I looked for Tapioca today. but no luck, not even pudding?????

Nothing on TV again tonight, so maybe some kitchen work is in order....

:welcome: Dolce !! The more the merrier.

Marita-- I do that all the time, go for one thing and end up with a whole cart load.

I didn't do anything today but read and take people places. Still have to pick up hubby from work at 8:00. New truck doesn't come until next week.

Nothing on tv tonight is right. They put everything on Tuesday for me it seems but nothing on the rest of the week. Guess I will spend the night showing Hannah how to sew on her badges she got today.

only wrong thing about the tapioca is that it needs eggs (which the egg lady came yesterday) and milk and vanilla.....I love alot of egg whites to make it super fluffy.....delicious.....

Just got back from having dinner with dh.....I figured I was good this week and then blood test this morning....I needed to eat.
Had alot of steamers.....I think I love those better then lobster sometimes...of course I need to take a rolaid soon.....hahaha...worth it all of course.
Have a good evening everyone..
I did only one load of whites and that was it......shoot I was going to be so productive today.....but son and gd came to visit because dil and gs went to a party......I love it when my son comes..
Tomorrow my daughter will come for supper because her husband is going to Boston to see a hockey game.....so I gain one whole day with our daughter.......YES YES YES.

Yesterday I found Seth laying down with Ellie.
ry%3D400

Here she is all ready to go out this morning in her new hat and flower.
ry%3D400

It's been cold for 3 weeks here, so today when I went to put one of Ellie's dresses on her(3-6 month) since it is warm again, it was WAY too small. Barely even covered her bottom. :( She really doesn't have a lot of anything else, so I see a shopping trip in her future. Woot!

Mommy P -- you are having too much fun dressing Ellie. The picture of both of them is darn cute!!

I love the photos ........these are to darn cute....

I am ready for bed.....and its not even nine.......geesh.....Old I think

WELCOME to the MOOvers thread, Eyor and Dolce! I am the thread mama (but I'm not around as much as some of our regulars). Any friends of Sandy's are friends of ours!!!

Sandy - So sorry your trip is almost over :sad1: But I'm sure you'll be back again another time. Did you manage to see Off Kilter???

Nabbie
- It has really warmed up here too. A lot of our snow has melted. January thaw  Sorry Nicholas is being such a stinker lately.

Aw, MommyP! What a nice big brother and I love Ellie's new hat :) Little girls ARE lots of fun to dress!!!

Pumba - Hope those TSM tips help a little. I haven't played for a while. I may give it a go later tonight.

Twink! :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl:

Hope you're feeling well and the little one comes at a good time. I'll bet you kids are getting excited for their new sibling to arrive :goodvibes

Marita - That was a funny name suggestion :lmao: Good for you for getting out in the crappy weather to get your groceries. I will probably do that tomorrow. I want to make a couple things for lunches next week.

bbn and Peej - Miss you! Hope everything is going OK. I'll bet Peej has a three-day weekend like I do. w00t!

Well, I had a lovely day today. I got chair massages for several of my friends for Christmas and one of my friends hosted a little get-together this afternoon so we could all have our chair massages (or reflexology). She and I went together and came up with a nice spread of Greek-themed food -- gyros, Greek salad, hummus, baba ganoush, tabbouli, baklava, olives -- it was so yummy! My friend has a beautiful log cabin home on a river in the woods. It's very pretty out there. She still had her Christmas tree up and it was gorgeous . . . a 12 foot tall Noble fir. They got it at a nearby tree farm and it has really lasted.

I finally officially hit 130 lbs weight loss today. Yahoo! Hope I am still there tomorrow after all the good food I had today because it sure took a while to undo the gain from the holidays.

Moo, 130, YAY!!!!!!!!! That greek food sounds yummy!

I'm sitting down for a minute, taking a break from slicing and dicing. Going to make the accidental soup tonight. I chopped enough onions and celery to last for beef stew too, which I think was a mistake, probaly not going to make beef stew the some weekend as ragout of beef soup and you can't freeze it. But I can use the onions this weekend for chicken livers at least...
I have no earthly idea where my accidental soup recipe is, so I am going by a Food network recipe and hope it turns out ok..

OK, here goes nothing ............. Wish me luck!

PS: For those of you that might think of going to Disney in Winter, the 4th floor of the Contemporary is REALLY COLD when it's freezing outside. Open from the monorail tracks.

Yo, Moovers! Happy Saturday to everyone!

Welcome to the newbies!

Moo, w00t on 130 lbs lost!!! WTG!!! :woohoo:

Sandy, glad the weather warmed up for you!

NAB, congrats on the new truck. It'll be nice to have the convenience of 2 cars back, huh?

Twink, La-a was goog, but YOUR suggestion smacks of sheer BRILLIANCE! Brava! The only way to improve on that one would be to use a symbol, a la Prince, circa mid-90's. Perhaps ~ would work? Of course, her name would be pronounceable that way. And I think Tilde Twinkie has a loverly ring to it, don't YOU? popcorn::

In other news (?), I spent a good portion of today at Natasha's Powderpuff Derby. She won 2 races and lost 2, so we're pretty happy with that outcome.

Last night, we had a girls-only excursion featuring dinner and shopping, since Big Daddy was working Job #2 and Boris was at a sleepover. Natasha really only wanted to go to one store: Justice. We spent a torturous 45 minutes deciding on just the right bracelet, funky-shirt-with-arm-warmers combo. I can already see that her teen years are slated to be ....uh, complicated. And spendy.

What's everyone up to tonight?

ETA: Hiya Marita! You're cooking NOW? Bless your soul!

Lynette - Tilde Twinkie?!

I agree that girls usually are much spendier than boys  Just wait til you are buying formal wear for dances when Natasha's older! Congrats to Natasha on her derby outcome.

Marita - Goog luck with your cooking adventures! I am waiting until tomorrow for that.

Thanks to both of you for your support on my weight loss! I'm shooting for another 20 lbs by spring (aka my one year anniversary since surgery).

Well, my soup turned out, umm, MEH! Not bad, but nothing to write home about. At least it was hot. Really need to find the original accidental recipe. Now which of about 30 cookbooks (and I dont cook much) did I find that in??????????? :confused3

Moo-- :woohoo: on the weight loss. We should be do for another picture soon.

Marita-- I am with the others , you cook really late at night. I am to lazy for that. I don't even like cooking at the regular time.

Lynette-- is great to know we have another truck coming this week. Just dropped of Hubby to work an hour or so go and couldn't go back to sleep.

Today we will be spending a lot of time at the church. First have to drop Nicholas off for 8:30 for his projector job, then Hannah and I will go to the 11:00 mass , Nicholas has to present a letter to the priest saying why he wants to be Confirmed, all the other classmates do the same thing during this mass. Then we have Kids club after that mass for 90 minutes in the church basement.

Hope everyone has a Great Sunday!!
