Cheddar Cheese Soup - I've only ever had the real thing in that tiny little 5 dollar sample cup from F&W. But I think it came out well. lol. It was pretty dang yummy.

Made chicken noodle for dinner tonight. It smalls really goog.

A preliminary tax assessment shows us getting roughly $8700. If that is true we should be able to get a new(ish) vehicle. Yay! Kinda pathetic to get excited over a 12 passenger van. lol. We really need the room though.

Mommy P-- those cowboy boots are so cute. I like the littel duck slippers and mary janes with the sock look too. Isn't dressing a girl fun.

Moo-- the weather was bad last night here too, glad you got home safe. Didn't snow much but it sure made everything slick.

Nab - Dressing a girl is INSANELY fun! She honestly has clothes she has only worn once. lol. I can't wait to go shopping for the next size. She has a few things for each size up to 18 months from all her gifts. Right now she has TONS of 3-6 month things, plus some of my favorite 0-3 month dresses that she wears with pants since they are too short now.

I just bought 3 beanie hats and 2 new flowers clips. I can't wait to see them.

I'm telling you - if anyone has plantar fascia - find a chiro that knows feet!! OMG - he took this piece of jade (like glass thin) and scraped the bottom of my foot - up down, while holding my foot some way - it was like my foot had glass INSIDE it - omg! but I think it feels better!!

The weather is frightening me! PLEASE let us get out on time, safely to Orlando! (plane leaves at 10am from Ohare!) DH s taking his laptop - so Im liable to get online when he's sleeping!!

Yes I am still sitting here.... Well actually I went out to get the mail.

Ali-- I got your Christmas card today. It was stamped Dec 21, it looked like it was stamped with Kermit the frog with a hat and scarf, beside the stamps.

It only cost you guys 44 cents to mail a letter? It costs us 53 cents now I think to mail in Canada. It seems to go up a penny every Jan. Unless you have left over stamps you can use them up. Two years ago they stop putting the price on stamps.

It is snowing quite nicely out there right now, big snow flakes. This morning it was -18 and now it is a warm -8 ( 18 F to you )

I think if its 32 deg F that means its 0 deg Celsius - Canadians and most of the world use Celsius and metric unit of measuring...

Okay so as usual I am a day (or week) late and a dollar (or a couple thousand) short.


I see we are posting our Daily Goals. I just keep moving mine to the next day. I do need to do laundry and start some baby laundry. And find the infant carseat. And maybe set up the pack-n-play for the new kid.

I am due Jan 30th but my goal is to be ready by Jan 15th. I don't think I will go early because my mom is praying that I don't. She can't come until the very end of the month. Plus the DH is super busy at work this month. And the high tomorrow is 2. It seems easier to be pregnant than to have a newborn with that kind of weather.


So enough about me... how are YOU? the collective YOU as our ol' buddy Syd would have said.

Speaking of OLD BUDDIES- I hope that all of you as well as our MIA peeps are doing well and have a happy and healthy New YEAR.

My, my, my, Twink! You really ARE faaar along!!! I didn't realize how close you were to your due date either! I sure hope things work out on your preferred schedule.

Only 2 degrees tomorrow? Brrr. That must be the second Arctic blast that is spreading across the country.

Sandy - Wishing you gobs of goog luck tomorrow for your flight And for your trip and race!!! No matter what, I'm sure you'll have a great timne. At least you know how to pack for chilly weather in Florida. Hope for your and Marita's sake that it's just temporary

Cel and Pumba - I'm also reading the Nora Roberts bridal series. Just finished book 2. And I am rereading another series of hers that I enjoy - the first book is called Jewels of the Sun. I love her series that are set in Ireland.

Busy time at work for me lately. I'm having trouble getting back on my eating schedule and am very happy that most of the holiday goodies are GONE. Unfortunately, they're gone because I ate them At least I've been working out most every day to help counterbalance the extra calories.

When we bought our new car last month ...Maybe I should of held out for heated seats.....Didnt know those existed....But heck our butts are as cold a our noses some days...hahaha..

Marita if it snows....take a picture so we can see what Florida snow looks like..

We are in for more snow showers and temps that will chill the hardest Mainers.
I hate snow and cold......not necessarily in that order......

Megara wasnt going to go potty this morning (again) but I changed her mind.....YELLED GOOOOOOOOO..

I was looking on Barnes and Noble (I have two gift certificates) and was thinking of getting some more reading material.....I am satisfied even to get the Harry Potter Series (read it more then once) or Twilight series.....or some of the new ones that Lincoln CHild and Douglas Preston has out...decisions decisions.......I posted this before but still havent made any DECISIONS>....

Pumba do you have leather seats?

We do and they are not heated either. And I just know some days I don't want to sit my butt on them. Freezing.

This morning it is on -6 C that is pretty good considering we had -20 on Monday. But like you snow is coming.

Marita-- snow in Florida...that is just not right. They showed pictures on the new of the orange crops saying we may have expensive orange juice and produce due to the weather there.

Sandy -- Hope the weather warms up for you .

Marita: Not really much happening there. But its what you make of it. So, for me, it's just a way to journal and keeping it real...that is, if people are actually reading. Which I hope someone is, to keep me going.

Twinks: I can't believe how fast this went. I will pray that things work out for the best for you and all involved.

My neighbor is now reading my Nora Roberts books. When we come across a good series, we share with each other. I also read The Lovely Bones while on vacation. My GF suggested years ago I read it, and I'm so glad I finally did. I couldn't put that book down. The cover said that they made a movie out of it that comes out Jan 15th. Looking forward to that. I happen to like Mark Wahlberg as an actor. I met him before he was even a singer/rapper. He had so many big dreams and projects back then. He was touring with his brother's group, you may have hear of them, New Kids on the Block. (LOL!)

They made a stop at our radio station for interviews and I had to make sure that they had what they needed and answer the phones. Crazy day that was. Got tickets out of it from Donnie Wahlberg and sat next to one of the guys dad during the show. Fun times......

When I read SK I need to have my other books finished or it will distract me.

I'm looking forward to John Grisham's new one, Ford County. I love to read!
