Cel, non-alcohol Nyquil:scared1: that is fundamentally wrong!

NAB, too bad Nicholas can't share his girl numbers with my DS, but alas, age and distance dont work too well, LOL!

I'm tired. A little bit of Jay Leno and then turning in.

PS: my german peach cake is still good after 2 weeks, the juices set in and its even better now. Just have to make it with less sugar next time, too sweet for me.

YAWN!!!

"the bears"! pumba...was he from chicago? did he live in
blue house? or just a "little" fella. wonder what bears like
to eat, pumbas?

well, the rams, can do no wrong.....that is, they have already
won a super bowl, how'bout the bengals or browns?

living life well, means living by the good book. now i heard that
thousand of times growing up.....but took for granted. lucky for me,
i had very dear friends that always redirected me back to the right
tracks.

i can't stress enough...i think for all my troubles, worked out for the best
in keeping this guy from doing something really stupid or dangerous.

go back to my "hearing", i wish...you all could seen everyone faces
when this guy showed his video of me working & him + brother
calling me every name/threat they could think of. [ only a true
psycho ( delusional) or druggie would ever be that stupid. ] in fact,
3 of the jury people were asking why wasn't he on trial? and
the bonus, having the deputy on court duty, that was also a witness.
he tried as hard as he could , to take my side. i still can't believe he
stated under oath, "no one knew why we were doing this".

as i stated before, we suspect he & his brother may have been involved
in killing a hunter 12 years ago. [ he was shot in the head, sitting
under a tree, first day of gun season] and it happened where these
yo-yo came from, just over the hill. { mingo road} . you just never
know when a crazy/druggie comes into your wonderful world.

ha! don't worry, i made a scary-crow, to keep him off my
property, :thumbsup2, jason mask & all!

also [ though i know it's boring ]....why fight so hard for a piece of
property? pumba~ will get this, it's the cherry spot for deer hunting.
monsters live there! & also it is in my nature because of the way
i was raised. ...and there's a hidden indian mound, very neat one.
...fyi, this area is very, very close to where tecumseh! was born.
just saying. & i like history. the view....straight across are the
very begining of the smokies' foothills. ab~salute~beauty full!

dear bdg100 ? is 100 or 1,000 like the terminator? anyhoo the rams
not only won the super bowl, but it was the best ever played.

just for the record , doesn't mp's lil':littleangel: "put you in mind" of
her mother? :rolleyes1, oh, backie? wonder what maturity have
taught me the most?

appreciation. patience is in second, for the moment. :lmao:

moo?....my sister [ yes she has redhair too] , sent us a card with the cutest
lil' cow on it. . she lives in mascoutah, ill. , have you heard of it?

i know way too many are afraid of mental health. sad. especially when
you "look" how many think they are normal & are wasting their time
on earth. very sad. the reason why so many live miserable life, afraid
of making tiny~little changes. there are quite a few good lessons being
taught here.....:teacher:

morning my friends.
Ms. Megara woke me up EARLY to go potty I thought...but it was because the dumpsters were being dumped over at the school....She hates that noise...Poor baby.
Lil G, YAH I know about prime spots that we hate to lose....The state is making our area into a State Park and all the people who have hunted there (hundreds and hundreds) went to the meeting to make sure that during hunting season it is still open to us......it has been for many many years.
Now waiting for June 17th for the moose lottery pickings.....if we dont get a permit, then we will spend three weeks at our new place this winter.. Have to see whats in it and what we need to get.......I am wicked excited........plus we were so close when we were in Disney yet so far.......we had reservations with the kiddos and didnt want to miss a single one with them......we had a blast...

Today is sunny out and mild temps, but tomorrow brings on the rain.....hubby had better mow the hay field.....hahaha....it sort of grew up while we were gone....

Waiting for Ms. Ava to show up.......she is a good baby and also can be a little stinker.....hahaha....

Cel, my favorite resort will always be All Star Movies.......we love Port Orleans French Quarter but for some reason We love Movies....The Dolphin was to much for us...especially walking thru the lobby with the spinet piano being played by a man in a tux...Going to the pool with our swimsuits on ......just was not right.....hahaha.. Pop Century we liked too even if it was huge.......least favorite was Port Orleans Riverside which will always be Dixie Landings to us..

Better go to the cellar and get some chicken to bring up to cook tonight

Taking Ellie for her 9 month check up. I can't believe that she is 9 months already.

I got new fabric on Sunday after church. I got something all Polynesiany for our dinner at Ohana's and her Minnie dress fabric. Hopefully I can work on them soon. I got everything all cut out yesterday, so at least now I can just start sewing.

Pumba - Port Orleans Riverside is our families favorite. After the Poly of course. lol. We have stayed at PC, ASMu, Poly, CBR and POR. I would LOVE CBR if they hadn't themed their rooms all trashy motel like with the fish boarder and "nemo" theme. Barf. It feels all off site now. I really want to try out CSR, I like the look of their new rooms. Very grown up. lol. We love POR though because it's quiet and doesn't feel like Florida. ;o) Plus you almost always have the quiet pools almost to yourself.

So I found a breastfeeding support thread on the families board where we just share experiences and ideas. No haters allowed. Well today this person decided to chime in. :lmao::sad2::headache:

Seriously? Can you imagine telling someone feeding their baby a bottle that the sounds of their baby sucking was gross and they needed to go somewhere private? :rotfl:

B - the boy friend is still the same - a moldy old breadman. :) Still not my boyfriend, just a boy who is a friend.
so I'm going memorial day weekend to a nerd cookout to hopefully meet other men.
since these "men" all play minesweeper from their mom's basement, my chances should be good.
:woohoo:
I've been enticing them with my world of warcraft skills before I head in for the cookout kill.

I hope twinks reads that. It was half for her.
A nerd cook out?!? Sounds delightful. :3dglasses There seems to be no shortage of "men" living in their mama's basement around here. Of course they all are 20ish and play Halo instead of minesweeper. Keep your standards high chica! Ask them their frogger and ms. pac man high scores before giving out your number. ;)

Nicholas went on a field trip today with school. It was a career awareness workshop. He said he learned how to take out dents out of cars, use chopsticks, make pins and something else I can't remember. Anyway when he got off the bus the teacher said would you like to see what Nicholas learned today....I though oh no this can't be good. She gave me a little note book they all got there. The pages were full of girls numbers.... :sad2:
Oh NAB. I was glad to hear your sister made it home ok. The weather was quite prairieful the other day. Finally it is sunny. Yeehaw. Where is our babynurse cowgirl?

Now waiting for June 17th for the moose lottery pickings.....

Who isn't? ;)

Everybodee: last week of school for us, one little twinkie is having an 'electron' party today (that means you get to bring your nintendo) and the other is having a soda party tomorrow (bring soda to drink), Goldenchild graduated from preschoolpirate:, the big kid has exams and a JOB (how did I get so old), and the Baby Princess can army crawl/scootche aloong... slowly but she is mobileish... only 4 months old

I know I sound silly when I say we are waiting for the moose lottery drawings...bad Mainers....hahaha....

Dixie landings wasnt our favorite because it was so wide spread out.....we did get in Alligator bayou once and was close to the quiet pool but not close to hubbies favorite hot tub.....one year we had Kt and Zach with us and the full moon was out and we started to howl at it as we were walking over the bridge to the big pool and hot tub.....we do that often here....it was the song werewolf of London..."anywhooooooo"...people looked at us strange........can you imagine that????? GEESH??? HAHAHA

Supper is done and hubby is finishing getting rid of the hay field.....hope he remembers to pick up the land mine of Megara's before he mows over it....:lmao:

Made Ellie's Minnie dress today.

I like how it came out. I might shorten it a little. Not sure......... I went with two pockets in the shape of mickey/minnie heads.

Here she is so cute in her jammies with her leggings.

Love the mini dress!

I went to my new placement school for the cognitive impaired. I got placed with 13-14 yr old who were SXI (severely multiple impaired).

What an experience and it is going to be a very interesting next 7 weeks. Honestly it was no different than working in my own daycare, other than the chronolical ages of the kids were much older. I did come home and hug every one of my kids though. Such sad circumstances.

Here's the funny part. My sister is engaged to a man who works at the school. He is like a building Maintenance/Supervisor to the ISD. His office was right next to my room with a big cut out between the two rooms. Out of 30 rooms, I got randomly selected there. Very funny.

MP, love the dress So funny to see Ellie always with a hat on though.

Mony, funny about your new neighbor. Hope the new school works out for you. I hear you about hugging your kids, I am foreer greateful mine are healthy (no thanks to my unhealthy habits)

Im beat. Not one, but TWO firedrills for tonight, I didnt even finish the first yet. It should be fairly simple, but somthing is not right! noon deadline tomorrow, so I am in trouble! Plus I'm beat and can't think strait now. Dinner tonight was 2 cold Oscar Mayer wieners.
On the positive side, I had a lovely lunch with knitfreak and Asst. #2 today. Saw knitfreaks sonogram, and she discolesd, when asked if she was showing yet, that she couldn't yet tell baby from fat, LOL.
That was pre-firedrill.

Twinkie, you must be getting old with all your kids growing up, LOL. Babynurse Cowgirl is apparently busy keeping other women feeling young with new babies.
Maybe that's the ticket?

Your Minnie dress is so adorable and your baby is the Minnie baby of the year in my book.....This is a great job...

Its raining here and I am kinda glad......cause I can stay put and not go for a hike with baby Ava. Yesterday we hoofed it to the downtown area and went to the post office and then for some reason the coming home part was all uphill......my inner calfs were KILLING ......I would like to walk with her every day and do a few miles to keep my A1C down....it was so good when I went to the doctors a few months ago and I was pleased as punch.

Marita...you must be exhuasted with working days at work and then coming home and doing more work........to much ..you need a rest...

Marita - She doesn't have a hat on in the other picture of her. ;o) She wears them and they are cute and she doesn't have much hair, so that's why she always has hats on.

Mommy P-- love the last picture , her expression is cute. She has more hair then the boys.... Minnie dress is cute. That little girl is the best dressed.

Pumba-- no rain here the sun is shining and it going to be warm. :woohoo: Hope it stays that way for the long weekend ahead.

Moo-- what did you think of BL last night. I can't believe Daris gained 2 pounds. It would be sad if after this he gained it all back. I was cheering for him. I thought his face looked fatter last night from the last show too.

I am still tired not sure if it is from the weekend partying and I am just getting old.

Nabbie - I'm so glad that Ashley made it as a finalist with Michael! I was sorry to see Daris struggle so much but I can somewhat understand how he needed to eat more in order to train for that marathon. His marathon time was amazing! I gave my votes to him because I'm still ticked at how Koli treated Stephanie. He has some apologizing to do.

Mony - What a coincidence about being in the same school as your sister's fiancee! Hope it goes well.

Twink - Loved reading the update about your kidlets! Let summer vacation begin!!!

Marita...you must be exhuasted with working days at work and then coming home and doing more work........to much ..you need a rest...

I do need a rest, like a cruise! Just staying home isn't doing much for me :( I end up working at least some anyway cause I have no life

Last night i was working till after midnight, I saved a file at 1:20 am last night . I was shocked when I saw that today, I dont remember staying up that late. DIS says I logged off at 12:30 :confused3 Anyway, I woke up at 6:30 today and got to work early, and I was fine all day. Luckily tonight is much more relaxed, nothing urgent.

Big announcement today!
My new assistant was selected for one of 2 salaried positions we had open, so she is moving from hourly to salaried, but staying at my hotel as a Jr. Financial Analyst.

Bummer is, Asst.#2 interviewed too, but didn't get it, she deserves it. She was in the top 2 or 3 out of 8, but new director wants some experience from other areas.
They selected a person from outside Resorts for that. :(

Sure feels good not to have anything urgent to do tonight, going to get some dinner now. What to make???????? :confused3

PS: Answer: Leftover pizza!

Funny thing today. Among some fairly boring presentations, we had a visiting Hula instructor from the Poly (Auntie something, 78 yrs old, been there since opening) for Asian Pacific Heritage month. After a short presentation and some instructions, she had everyone in the room dance a hula, with instructions like. "right, right, tap, and (arm movements) shovel, reverse, pull, hip twirl, hike, fish, it was hilarious. And we all get leid :)

I don't think I will even make to Jay Leno tonight...

Good morning!

Heigh ho heigh ho....

MommyP: Ellie is getting so big and her eyes are just beautiful. Thanks for sharing the pictures!!

Twink: We still have a few weeks of school left here. I can't believe it is almost over though.

Cel: Sorry you have been under the weather. Hope you are feeling better!!

B: We can't wait until you come back?

Marita: Your ds is so handsome. I am sure you are a proud mommy

Everybody: I read. I'm going to be late for work. I shout all to ALL of you.

That Hawaiian Auntie was a riot and so with it. We attended the Luau a week ago this evening....and we enjoyed it ...SO did the rug rats. The food was pretty darn good too.....Wish I could get the recipe for that bread we had....we didnt have any butter and I was wondering why.....Well you dont need any with this bread it was so moist and delish....

Glad that you were able to relax Marita....You need it. Maybe in a few years when hubby retires and you retire we can meet half way someplace and visit.....

the sun is here and supposed to be a nice day......so shorts are within reach.....right now at 58 degrees, I have my jeans on......:confused3

Have a good day my friends

Good Morning!

If this week doesn't end soon I'm going to need to be self medicated. :headache: Chad has his last night of school tonight. He had school Tuesday and last night he had a dentist appointment that got him home late. I am going crazy. The sucky thing about school is he gets off of work at 3:30, but school doesn't start until 6. He basically only has to show up for school and then leave. But since it's 45 minutes home and then 45 minutes back to school from home, he has to stay in town all afternoon. :sad1:

Next week he has to have a tooth pulled. It's been bothering him for a long time and he thought if he ignored it it would go away... :confused3 He didn't even tell me. Thankfully a friend and member of our church owns his own dental practice. He said we don't have to pay him unless we can. It will be a max of 210 to pull the tooth. He isn't charging for the visit yesterday. So we'll just put it on a 0% card. It would certainly be hundreds if we had to go somewhere else. :scared1:

I keep forgetting to mention that I've lost 15 pounds in the last couple of months. It feels so good! I am only a few pounds away from seeing the 120s again. I never thought I'd see those numbers again, it's been like 8 years!

Thanks, BBN, I am a proud mommy

MP, hope your days get better!

At about 8:05 tonight, the power went out in the entire neighborhood. No bad weather, not even a drop of rain. Usually it comes right back on and it's just annoying to have to reset all the clocks. No such luck tonight.
The flashlights were not were they usually are :headache: Found a couple of candles, but that was it. Finally ended up waking up DH, who finally found a big one in the garage that he had just charged the battery for, whew! So after that I sat in the dark with no internet, no TV, no radio, no nothing for another 30 minutes!:scared1: Finally it came back on. It was horrible, no sounds, and I always need some background noise. Couldn't even use the phone because we switched to cable. SO I finally got my cell phone from the car to call DS, who wasn't there anyway, but just as I was dialing, the power came back on. Now I am drained, LOL, it was stressful. At least knowing it was the entire neighborhood, and not the fear that we hadn't paid the bill was a relief, LOL.

Oh Marita....I hate it when the lights go out...I always have that fear that we are going to be without power for a week like in 1998...But even if it is off for a few minutes.....the stinking house blinks....all those clocks and microwaves that have to be reset........geesh....I had better get instructions on how to do that microwave again....

Tomorrow is Friday......cant believe that this week has gone so fast..I did manage to clean out two bins in the fridge....tonight did grocery shopping and got some more london broil steak on sale....gotta love a good meat sale....hahaha......also got some good size shrimp for my macaroni shrimp salad......

my neighbor made peanut butter cookies delicious......one cup sugar, one cup pnut butter and one egg....you can double it all ....weird....350 for 7 minutes
