Moo-- Hubby is trying to figure out a way for Hannah and I to go to WDW , He and Nicholas would go to Univerisal and do the Harry Potter again. Tickets are so expensive for a couple days though.

Watched Biggest Loser tonight. The old ones are going to get picked off I'm afraid. And thought it was funny them advertising Yoplait dessert yogrut. That stuff might be 100 calories but some of them have over 20 g of sugar. They are good though. Love the apple turnover one.

Nab, I said AFTER 1/1, lol. But if that's the only time, I'll drive in, not often you see imaginary friends. It's not like I'm partying the night away on 12/31 anyway.

Boring day at work yet again, but helped out for a college program CM event today, I arrange popcorn bags! See what a college degree will get you Good pay for little work (j/k)
Taking Friday off and just adjusted Thanksgiving week to take the entire week off. Hopefully DS will come home that week but im taking it anyway.

Marita - I always enjoy having some sort of time off work planned! Hope your DS can visit over Thanksgiving!!! Any word on your DD's job?

Nabbie - I can't believe how expensive it is for just a couple days either, but maybe we could meet Marita at a resort restaurant. Or maybe Marita would be willing to donate a couple of her tickets?!

I'm glad I have an annual pass.

My hubby looked at possibly going to Universal for the day we leave for the cruise but he's not a Harry Potter fan and didn't see all that much he was interested in doing, so now he's thinking he will drive my sister and I to the port and do some NASA stuff.

I am not liking that they divided the BL teams up by age this time around

Marita-- Opps, missed a word. After I think will be fine, now to get it nailed down with Hubby where and when we will be there.

Moo-- Nasa sounds like fun for you hubby and he will be over that way when dropping you off. You can see Nasa across the water when you on the boat.

Been a busy day, running errands. Fixing Nicholas suit coat buttons. He is going to a funeral tomorrow to support his best friend from school. His father passed away on the weekend. He was only 42 and had cancer. So if you could keep there family in your prayers.

Also I need prayers and pixie dust for my sister who is having surgery tomorrow morning. She is having a kidney removed. She had thyroid cancer 2 years ago and had that removed .Now it's her kidney , hoping that they don't find anything else. Testing said there was no more cancer cells but we still worry.

Nabbie - Sending prayers and pixie dust, as requested My cousin's husband has had tumors removed from both of his kidneys and they said they were contained. So far, so good (other than the fact that they found a tumor in his second kidney a while after he had the first one). They were able to remove the tumors and his kidneys seem to be functioning well and he hasn't had any further recurrence.

I think after might work better for me to meet up with Marita because I'd kind of like to have lunch at Le Cellier as planned on 1/2. We'll only be staying for one night after the cruise, but we'll probably do some park hopping and could do a meal at a resort in between.

Nab, if you need park tickets, im sure I can get you some. Mine just sit on the vine and wither away (expire). I'll have to see how many I have availble, but between hubby and me Im sure we have at least 4, and we dont need them for ourselves. So let me know, and I'll figure out how to get them to you, I think I can just email them.

DS confirmed today he has leave from 11/18-30, so yayyy

My success story of the day: We got hit with a bad debt write off last week for $36,800. So after repeatedly emailing, finally got the answer today:

Using the FINREC0011 – Analysis Ledger report, this is made up of 1 single posting:　 $36749.33 for reservation: 411746861191.　 Someone should be journaling this to the Credit Card account since it was to correct a mistake the FD made.　 They posted the credit card charges to the guest missing the decimal point.　 So instead of payment $184.67, they charged the guest $18467.00. 　They tried to correct this by doing a 2nd posting was supposed be a credit of $18282.33 but they did a debit of $18282.33.　 Credit Card Management stopped the charges from hitting their statement.　 I do not know who is responsible or which credit card account needs the money so someone needs to get with that team so the journal can be completed

.　

Second mistake of this kind I caught this year, last one was for a correction of $8 that ended up as a $16,000 write-off and the guest credit card got an extra $16,000 benefit, LOL. Hope he didnt spend it before we caught it. Who knows how much of this goes on without being caught? All-Star had an issue to the tune of $84,000 recently.

One more day of work, yay!

Yikes, Marita - That was a heck of a mistake to find

WooHOO on your son visiting over Thanksgiving!!!

I have to be on the road at 7:00 am tomorrow morning for a meeting. NOT looking forward to that. I'm going to ask my hubby make sure I'm up before he leaves the house.

My sister and her husband from upstate NY are here for a week and we have been busy..Yesterday we went to Freeport and LL BEAN and other outlets......got some imperfect lindt chocolates.....WHITE CHOCOLATE ..YUMMY for a song and a dance......love that type of deals..
Finger is still quite a good size....swollen and numb under...and I probably will lose the nail too.....whaaaaaaaaaaa...
HOpe your sister makes out okey...prayers always for our family and friends.....

STILL NO TREE SERVICE.........will look up new ones to call for an estimate...

I am not happy.......we had three good dry days.....today is overcast but that is it.......NOT HAPPY AT ALL..

Pumba - I love Lindt chocolates too. Last Thanksgiving when we visited our DD, there was a Lindt store at the local mall where you could buy all their different flavors in bulk. It sure was fun to try so many different flavors that aren't available in the grocery store! Hope you find an alternate tree service soon. Seems like they are notoriously unreliable everywhere

I made it to my meeting not just on time, but actually a little early this morning. Yay, me! And I got home by 4:30ish!!! I have to say that the traffic is MUCH heavier that early in the morning and it just reinforces my desire to work a later schedule.

My coworker and I stopped at a cider mill on our way home from the meeting and picked up some Honeycrisp apples and other goodies. Yummm.

Last day of the fiscal year tomorrow All I have left to do is a bit of reporting.

My sister and I went for a ride to get some italian sandwiches for lunch and she saw a yard sale sign..so we went and I got a coach purse (like my granddaughters) for one dollar........My sister checked it out when we got into her vehicle and said yup its real...had the number and stuff inside ...unreal...it was brand new...

we all went out for supper at a seafood restaurant and we had all you can eat fried clams for 9.95.....I am feeling YUCKY now..

Marita-- I might have to take you up on that offer...it is very generous of you. Hubby said if the air doesn't come down we may drive. I just keep thinking snowy roads and time restraints to get the kids back for school. But then I could bring more luggage.

Pumba-- Hope your finger feels better soon. Great find at the yard sale.

My brother in law just called and said my sister was doing fine after surgery. They only had to take part of it. So that is good. Now we have to watch for blood clots. But other then that she is doing well. I hate being so far away. Maybe I can convince hubby to go this weekend to see her but don't want to tire her either. The drive would be 3-4 hours depending on traffic.

Kids have the day off tomorrow too, which means I can sleep in tomorrow.

I don't have anything too exciting lined up for the weekend. I'm going to try to do a kettlebell class tomorrow morning and see if I can kickstart myself into an exercise program again It's not going to be pretty! And my only remaining aunt on my dad's side is in town for her 50-year class reunion (she was in my mom's class), so I'll probably go out to dinner with her and my brother and sisters on Sunday. Should be interesting

Well, I made it through my kettlebell class this morning . . . couldn't do everything because I got rather winded, but I was able to do a little more than I thought I could Although I'm signed up for the Thursday evening class, I went this morning because I wasn't able to make it last Thursday.

It really reinforced that it's easier for me to exercise at night when I'm not as stiff!

Hope everyone's having a good weekend It was quite cold and windy this morning, but it cleared off rather nicely this afternoon. Hope tomorrow's weather is a bit more Fall-like.

Moo-- Good for you for doing your class. I was just thinking I need to move some too. I am so tired all the time lately and don't like it. Not eating right either so that doesn't help.

It sure did get cold over night. And very windy here too. I took my wind chimes off the front porch last night , they were so noisy. I'm sure my neighbours thanked me because their bed room is on that corner of the house and they had there windows open.

Didn't do much today. Went out looking for some stuff for the kids but besides that no much of anything. Now I will have to stay in tomorrow and do this after church.

Nabbie - I feel better already just by getting started! I rode the stationary bike after class and did a bit of stretching tonight, so hopefully I won't hurt tomorrow. I need to motivate myself to work out a bit at home during the rest of the week. Maybe you'll be doing more walking now that the kids are back in school?

We need to be in shape for the cruise so we can enjoy a few desserts on the ship!!!

I'm going to try upping my protein intake again. I picked up some peppered turkey breast and a new flavor of light laughing cow cheese (queso chipotle) so I can make some roll-ups for lunch or if I want a snack. I need to find some other protein-based snackage to keep on hand.

good to read about everyone -

DH is still without a full time job - he's been patching things with "contracts" DD is in high school now - I'll post a pic - she was asked to homecoming - she's all grow'd up!

DH paid to do Goofy at Marathon weekend - I thought I could do the half, but I'm backing out - we'll be there for such a short time (paid for DVC rental) I don't want to be sick and in pain the time we're there!

We got really lucky buying southwest tickets for Spring Break (mom's cc! and a promise to dd to visit nana and papa - she wants us to take her to Harry Potter! !)

I know I get wordy - just got such a warm friendly feeling when I saw the post - I'm usually in and out - the New Facebook its just weird, and since I got hacked I lost a lot of friends (which I understand - stupid hackers!)

DD is in red - they were supposed to all meet at the girl in purples house for pictures - but since they were all Pep Band friends, they mostly just met at the restaurant! DD was NOT happy I came to take pictures! drama!

Hi Sandy, good to see you again. YAY for a Disney vacation. I wondered what happened to FT job, but I hear you on that, my DD is still looking too, this economy sucks, just nothing out there.

Sandy - Your DD looks beautiful! Sorry to hear about your hubby's job situation. My DD is trying to find a job closer to where she lives, but it has been tough. I'm happy she has a full-time position even though it's a long drive.

I think I'll be at WDW the day of the marathon (1/8?) and Nabbie and I may be meeting up with Marita, but I'm guessing that you may be pretty busy that day! Nabbie and family are still figuring out their schedule.
