Rob-- How could you blame such a cute kitten.

Buddy probably could knock over stuff easy enough but he is really good because he can open cupboard doors and I guess use his whole body to shove the candy wrappers to the back so I don't see it until I empty the cabinet. Yup Buddy did it....

UMA-- never put anything on Ebay before, we have never bought anything on line either.

Hi Joe :wave2:

Have any of yous sold on e-bay before?

What should I start my base bid at? I was thinking $1 per piece but don't have a clue. That's what I'd sell them for at a yard sale. :confused3
I've sold on ebay. It's easy but just make sure you charge enough shipping to cover yourself. In fact, most people seem to be making money on the shipping charges. It's also a LOT easier if you set up a PayPal account. That way you get the money right away and you can easily just transfer it to your own bank account. Good luck with the adorable Norah clothes!

I was just over at the other thread and saw your new tags Lexi !!!

You look lovely in colour. :woohoo:

He has a real thing for 2-liter pop bottles. One time he attacked a full bottle of Cherry-Chocolate Diet Dr. Pepper. After he knocked it over, he started chewing on it and, I SWEAR, somehow punctured the plastic with one of his sharp little teeth so that a small spray of Cherry-Chocolate Diet Dr. Pepper streamed out of the hole (under pressure from the carbonated item just having been knocked over and batted around) about four feet out across the kitchen floor. I was home to witness all this so it was my own fault but I never figured the sucker could put a hole in it -- now we try to keep all full 2-liters stored away in a cabinet (ours isn't talented enough to open the cupboard doors) or in the fridge where Oreo cannot get to them.

I will. I'll take it to the post office and have it weighed first. I don't want to make $ on shipping, that feels dishonest. We do have a PayPal account, except I'll leave it up to dh for that part. He's good with the money.

1. EW, I bought a 12 pack of that and it tasted like someone spilled Count Chocula in a perfectly good bottle of Dr. Pepper.

2. My one cat carries Norah's socks in her mouth all around the house making WEIRD meowy sounds...like they're her kittens! They also play soccer with thge little valves inside sippy cups.

3. Come to think of it, my DH doesn't get a say in the decor of our home. Nascar and milk crates?

Marita....I am gooooog at Excel. Can I have a job? (I want that hotel discount!)

Sure Lexi, come on down. I am sure we could find you a job. Knowing Ecxel = goog!

Congratulations on your tags!!!!!!!!! :thumbsup2

I was kinda picking on you, Marita dear. Nine times out of ten, if you're going to have a work from the couch day, it seems to be on a Friday.
So I was thinking ahead. :)

how considerate of you, Cel! And of course you are right about Friday, hee hee!

Marita, something like this would probably do everything that you need to do:

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=8648118&type=product&id=1195598868093

You can get decent basic laptops for under $600 so it just depends on if you want to spend the money to have one of your own rather than rely on the company provided laptop.

Thanks, Joe, you are the best!

I noticed that Twinkie's tags have changed, and Congrats to you Luther on your new tags. And Nab too. :)

Wendy - Making baby food is the only way to go around here. the jars cost more than regular people food. But, nope, not doing the whole washing of the wipes thing. ;)

I am working on getting some pictures from my shower online right now.

So either "Not Me" or "I Don't Know" did it?
My cats always tip stuff over! And I can't have any real potted plants...or they'll eat them and barf plant-barf all over the place. EW!
RobIn: Based on the glimpses of you're home you've shown, I'm guessing you like country style?

You guys! I'm a wreck! Clutter makes me crazy!
I have PILES all over my kitchen table and bar and boxes on the floors of Norah's old clothes I'm going to try my hand at selling on e-bay in "lot" quantities. Little ironed piles of 12-18 months/ 24mo 2T/ 3T etc.

But I just ran out of spray sizing for the iron. My iron works best with sizing, not water. So as soon as the kids wakey, wakey, I have to haul us all over to the Walmart and get 2-3 cans of sizing.

Once everything is pressed, I'll take photos and have my DH splatter them on e-bay. Which we've never done so I'm all nervous.

It's not going to be a fancy ad at all. As plain Jane as possible actually.

Wendell, I've sold TONS of stuff on eBay. Makes for nice coffee $$$, dontcha know! ;) Lots are definitely the way to go for stuff like kids clothing and toys. You might do well to include at least one spendy brand name in each lot, and mention it by name. Start your bidding low (do a search for like items to get a feel for pricing before you begin creating your listings), and make sure your buyer pays for all shipping charges. Let us know how you do!

Twinkie - Why don't you just make your own instead of buying the sensitive ones? With my ecxema babies I used Cetiphil(sp?) instead of baby shampoo.

Cause I don't love my children very much? ;)

Actually I buy the "unscented" not "sensitive" .... for the super sensitive girl I just used cut up ancient white 100% cotton t-shirts. The paper towels are too rough and I don't mind spending money on wipes. I figure spend less than $3/month on them. :goodvibes Don't rat me out to the budget board 'kay?

Just got back from the doctor.
Grasshopper is 13 lbs, 10 oz and 25.5 inches long. :yay:

Twink, have a mini MOO Hooty for 3900 posts! Here ya go:

:woohoo: :yay: :woohoo: :yay: :woohoo: :yay:

Just finished reading all the shiny new tags and tips galore on here today! ;)

Thanks, MommyP. Do you know whether that Cetaphil soap is unscented? Just interested for future reference - I'm not expecting any grandbabies for YEARS . . .

I have never eB*yed, but my hubby has. He buys stuff from there all the time :sad2: Not sure if he's ever sold anything.

Nab, sorry your kitchen is delayed a bit

I only worked a few hours today. I woke up feeling kinda wucky, but went in around noon for a meeting and to work on a letter. Then my ear started feeling funky, so I left early. Hope I'm not getting an ear infection. We have had terrible windiness today, so I'm hoping it is just pressurized.

Moo - I don't think that it is scented. At least I don't smell anything.

Here is Isaac enjoying his shower. lol.

Here is his enjoying the cake my sister made. She spelled his name wrong though. oops.

Finally he's awake. ;)

Isaac with Beth. Don't you love his expression? lol

MommyP, he is adorable! Love that expression in the picture with Beth!

Moo, hope you feel better!

I am working on forecast yet again (YUK!) I DO NOT feel like working now.
Plus hubby cooked dinner today for him and the kids, and left a total mess in the kitchen. I am NOT cleaning it up tonight, all he gets is an empty dishwasher for tomorrow!

Oooohhhh! Look how big Isaac is getting!

That expression is too funny, MommyP!!!!! :lmao:

His ears are nothing compared to my BIL/SIL's kids' ears :listen:

MP- He is SUPER adorable!! And soooo long! I bet he is taller than Grasshopper. I love the expression and the ears! It took me three looks to see the spellun error in his name.

Mommy P -- Isaac is so cute, love the expression too. Does he look like the other boys? How is little John doing?

Moo -- sorry to hear about your wucky ear.

Marita-- go relax on the couch the mess isn't going anywhere.

We just got back from skating and they are having a carnival ( a show with lots of costumes) Hannah is skating to Summertime with her group. She is in a purple dress that has a petal type skirt. She is pretty excited. It is on Saturday.

Yes, I guess I have to! Mess is a mess! No lunch again today and got another Whopper Jr. and small fries from Burger King. Still $2.13. But I paid extra special attention to the menu board, Rob, it said $3.69 (without fries)

Anyway, I am tired now

I'll second that prediction, Moo.

Unless maybe Monica pops in? Hasn't she swooped a time or two as well?
