Moo....Driiinnnkk the Kool-Aid. Twilight is a good book. So it's not classic literature but it is a great story. You'll love it! Sorry about jury duty! I never had to report in September. And they can't call me again this September like they did the last two Septembers. Yay! OH and did you hear about the Airborne lawsuit?! There's no scientific proof that the stuff works so they will refund your money for every Airborne purchase back to 2000. Did you save all your receipts?

Melinda, I heard about the Airborne lawsuit, but I feel better when I take it so I'm sticking with it! EXCEPT, a couple of the toxicologists who I work with said to avoid liver toxicity you should only take two doses a day because the Vitamin A content is so high.

The big news here is that Grasshopper can roll front to back AND back to front. He has amazing head control and can hold his own weight on his feet for quite some time. Looks like we named him well and I will soon have two ninja children. Should I just go ahead and dye my hair gray to get it done with?

Hi all!

I got tons of baby soap, never too sure why people buy that, some clothes, half of which is 2T(another thing I don't understand), 4 packs of diapers and over $500 in cash, checks and gift cards. I spent all my Target ones today on the way home from church. I took all 5 boys shopping with me, by myself, for clothes. I threatened them with their lives and bribed them with cake. lol. They were good. After trying on 18 things, I settled on 4 and got Isaac some new size 6 month clothes. But 9 month onsie shirts, because that's just how big he is. He's sitting up and forward in the sling now, looking out at everyone. We can't get 5 feet without being stopped by someone googoogaagaaing over him. lol

I have since cleaned the bathrooms, vacuumed the couches and swept and vacuumed the floors. I had a friend over last night who has very sheddy hair, so I had to take care of that problem. lol

Congrats on Riley's Baptisim!

Twilight is not really scary (except for a few pages). It's more of a romance novel.
Honestly, it took me a while to get into it, like the first 80 pages, but then it moved quickly. I am now about halfway throught book 2.

I will look into that book too.....I was going to order one of my favorite authors book for the trip.....but heck I never read on the plane.....just sort of skim....
Good authors are Lincoln Child and Douglas Preston...they co-author the books I read.......THE RELIC is the best first one to get.....it is fantastic .....one by one of the authors alone is Utopia.....a story of a place like Disney in the desert....so try those if you want some good reading....

we decided that if the waiver does not go thru tomorrow we will go to our granddaughters college and bring her birth certicate and then go to her post office close to the college.....then we will pay the extra sixty bucks to expedite it.....hope that works too...

1. w00t for Grasshopper!!!!! Are there any new pics of said miraculous child? Cuz I missed the blink-and-you-miss-'em flash post last time. And I pinky promise not to tell Mr. Twink that his newest progeny appeared on the DIS. For serious!

2. IDK about E and LilL, but I am still recuperating from whatever hideous ickiness Boris gifted to me on Thursday. Not quite sick, at this point, but not well either. In Boris' words, "I just feel wuckety." We had to cancel Natasha's family birthday party, which was scheduled for today. Luckily, she's already had 3 parties, scads of gifts, AND gotten her ears pierced, so she didn't really feel like she missed out on anything.

Awww. Our oldest used to call it Bath-tism which makes sense since all he had seen was "dunking" version. At our last church, we started calling it "Sackatism" from a skit where a well meaning but flighty character thinks they way to increase church membership is to randomly place baby pools around then sneak up and tackle unsuspecting people into them.

Thanks for asking- the be'urking is MUCH improved. However, being as it is Sunday, he exploded out his diaper 20 minutes after arriving at church. Changed him, put on the emergency duds. He grinned. Cooed. Then be'urked ALL over my clothes and his. Spit up may be my new signature scent.
