as I sit here STILL STRESSED..wondering if Maine will get an extension or a waiver or something on the Real ID......stress.......hubby said we can get to Disney but may not be able to come home so we would have to rent a van and drive home......that is all.....glad he is not stressed.......we should know by tomorrow if Homeland Security will okey his thing whatever it was he did....

I forgot to tell you about in the middle of the night......I woke up because Ms Megara was trying to get comfy on MY SIDE of the bed ....so anywhooooooo I woke up and there was that dang song in my head.....it gave me a headache....so I tried really hard to think of any song that I could hum or think of and get rid of that horrible other song......YES IT IS HORRIBLE when you cant do anything but hear it......DROVE ME NUTS........SO finally at three am I fell back to sleep and slept good...and then woke up at almost 7 .......HAD to yell at the dog to wake up.......I figured if I am awake then she had better be awake too......

Moo....Mimi and I want to do a girls trip. She is dying to go in Sept. but since she has already been to Europe, Florida, and going to NYC next month...I said no. So she and I will have to make another trip soonish. Dec. sounds goog if funds allow!

moo - I'll check today and see if we can get the last two days at bonnet creek. or at least one more day then we can maybe do magical express.

Disney HATES me. I ordered the DVD. I made my mom and sister order the DVD. They both got the 20% off code and I got NUTHIN. I was hoping one of us would get the 40%... on top of which the 20% off was only good on one room. We need 4 rooms (one for Mom & Dad, one for Sis, two for Clan Twinkerton). Yes I am still thinking about a fantasy December trip and since this is fantasy I considering La Nouba and BBB. Any reviews for either? I am particularly interested in kids reaction to La Nouba which no one seems to post about. I even out right asked on the theme park board AND the family board. I know my little gymnasts would love it. I am not so certain about the menfolk. Very spendy if you don't LOVE it.

I have never been to La Nouba, but my BFF said it was great. It seems overly spendy to me and none of my family have ever wanted to go.

Twinks. I asked 10 different times if I had a code. I just had to find the right CM to say yes! Don't give up. My code covered 2 rooms at POP. I had to change my dates from Nov to Dec to get it.

I'll be over "there" shortly. Not that it will do me any good tonight.

OK, I will definitely plan some overlap for December. My trip is still in the imaginary stage though.

MommyP: The trend seems to be that after calling and asking for a planning video a code can appear attached to your name. Happened for me.

Please note that I already had a trip booked. Don't know if that had anything to do with it.

I stinking LOVE my family

We went to a BBQ place kind of far across the valley tonight for dinner. It was Southern all the way! Sweet Tea, collard greens, grits, pulled pork, fried catfish, etc. I ate one grilled chicken breast and a dry side salad because it's weigh day tomorrow. Cheap date huh?

You know that 5-disc Disney songs compilation set that all you probably have? Disc 4 has the song OPEN ROAD from the Goofy Movie. Have you ever really listened to it? It's the FUNNIEST song!

On the way to and from this place, we put it on repeat and sang and sang. MY part was the "Howdy boys...Is this the way to Nashville?" I chuckled thinking some of you might find that funny. It was fun!!!!

Tomorrow is my baby shower. Mine is the vehicle we are all car pooling in this time, which means it seriously needs to be cleaned today. I told my brother to come over after school and help me.

I can't wait for Chad to get home. I haven't slept well since he's been gone. Too many noises to keep me awake.

I seriously need a vacation from the kids after this. Last time Chad talked to them for a while before he left about obeying me and helping me, or else. And this time he kinda just left last minute. They have been horrible. Fighting with eachother, whining about eachother. AHHHHHHHHHH!

Calgon take me away!

I am hopeful that the girl who is making my sling for me. (I gave her the rings and material, she loves to sew) is bringing me the finished sling as my present tomorrow. It's take forever!!!!!!!!! I can't wait to see it done.

I hope I get lots of diapers. I am almost out of my stash then we'll have to buy them for the first time since he's been born. Thankfully he isn't a big pooper. Usually only every other day, and at first even less than that. So we haven't gone through many diapers. Thank goodness.

What's everyone's plans for the weekend?

well Maine didnt mean to PO the government but they did.........they said we cant do that Real ID cause it would cost our state 185 million and with the budget cuts .......NOPE not enough money......so Maine is doing alot of security on their own for the ids......and the governor sent his letter to Homeland Security ....so maybe we will find out today.......oy oy oy..

and we have that stinking four letter word weather right now........at seven am we had about three or four inches........good lordy I hate this....but you guys already knew that...

I love baby stuff.......I could walk thru it and see it all the time and I love baby blankets......my favorite things....

I really loved my Sling. They seem like they'd be pretty simple to make. I miss the stage when they're about 5-6 months and sitting in the sling facing out

In Utah, we give a pkg. of diapers WITH the gift. Kind of a custom.

I love that you miss Chad so much.
I love mine too, BUT, reeeeeeeeeally like having the whole bed to myself.
I use a fan for white noise so I don't even hear scary noises.

I don't know about that. Seattle is one of my favorite places (only because of it's quirky history) and I found the people there to be amazingly fabulous. Fabulously amazing even. A perfect blend of cultures. I also really, really like San Fransico and San Diego...and Salt Lake. An "S" theme?
