Hi, Twink!

I'm with you on that movie :scared:

DH watches lots of those sorts of movies. And westerns. Bleahhhhh!

Although he's watched the John Wayne ones so many times I can sort of watch those.

Moo, the kids are SOOOO excited that I wasn't sure they would be able to get to sleep tonight. :goodvibes Natasha asked Boris if he'd let her sleep in his trundle bed tonight so they could talk to each other as they were trying to go to sleep (cuz THAT always works! :rolleyes1 ).

I don't know how they're going to make it through CCD tomorrow morning without bursting at the seams!

a puppy from Missouri? what- you hoity toity Bostonians don't have bumpah stickahs or puppies?

Lexy- I was just trying to tease WT. I guess I will leave humor to the professionals.

All of my menfolk are watching Saving Private Ryan. I am sure it a good movie but as a mother of three sons I am not interested in any movie about boys and war.

Hiya, Twink! You snuck in while I was rambling on to Moo.

Apparently, cocker spaniels are twice as expensive if they are bred in the Boston area. :scared1: Since it is my intention to save at least a small portion of the Lalijack fortune for Boris and Natasha's college edu-macation, I decided it was cheaper to have a puppy "imported" from the exotic lands of Mizzou.

As for the bumpah stickahs, I'm afraid I cannot discuss their availability or appropriateness within the confines of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, for fear of being banished to the wilds of New Hampshah. Sorry.

Twink, why is your hotdish cut off now?!

L, I'm assuming that the kidlets are already snug in their respective beds?!

Yeah- I was playing around with my signature... hence the magic tricks.

Well, congrats on the Mizzou-pup. Mr. Twinks has been going on about wanting a puppy. He says it is un-American to not have a dog. He also points out that since we have no furniture for the solarium it could be the dog's room:rolleyes:

Oh, yes....eons ago, thankfully. No one wants to see Natasha working on too-little sleep. Not pleasant! :sad2:

Wendee, the game is basketball. Almost always.
Lexy- FS stole one tonight. Mont Co missed 15 layups. May be the best game of the tourney. They should coast tomorrow morning. And what's this carp about some football game? That snuck up on us.
LilG- you'd get a kick out of how poorly our Sun Belt(aka Suck Belt) runs its tourney. No fans on floor after championship, complete with 100 security folk around the perimeter. Balloons, streamers, but no fans. Everyone else lets them on, but not our commish, Mr. Wrong Waters.
Gotta get up earlyish for all-you-can-eat pancakes to support a friend's AAU basketball team. Then more games. It's a tough life, I tell ya.
Glad I'm not an SEC fan. The Georgia Dome got hit and had to be scary. Wouldn't even wish that on the Kaayeetts.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TWINKADOODLE!

Happy Birthday Twinkie!

YES! I really liked the food at Raglan Rd.
Do y'all know where the only other Raglan Road is? Right here in this little KC Cowtown. It only opened a few weeks ago (in time for the Big 12 basketball tournaments) and I haven't had a chance to visit yet. Maybe once the Big 12 crowd leaves town after this weekend.

I saw video of the Georgia Dome on ESPN tonight. That does look scary!

I love Championship Week, almost as much as the Big Dance. One of the most exciting finishes of the day had to be the last 3.4 seconds of the Minnesota-Indiana game. Hail Mary inbounds pass for ¾ of the length of the court, the catch, and an immediate buzzer beater shot for a 1-point victory -- wow!

Alright Moo, Lynette, Wendy and anyone else who loves a lil Michael Buble.

The concert was FANTABULOUS. He is such a smarta** and funny, and he can sing like nobody's business. I have seen him in interviews and knew he could be a little crazy, but he is an absolute entertainer.

We had pretty good seats. See how close I was to him?!?!

Also, after the concert we met his opening act called Naturally 7. The dh said bend down there and I'll get a picture of y'all. They use NO instruments and sing and make music only by their very own vocal cords. They were really cool. I was amazed. I think this is a you-tube link. You should watch!!!!!!!!!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T5qc3qZqe38

I'm heading to bed. Hope y'all have a nice Saturday! An extra pic for your viewing pleasure.:upsidedow (I had to hunch over, cuz Michaels on the short side. ;))

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, TWINKIE!

8.gif

I still love you even though this birthday will not be the one that causes you the humiliation of bifocals. I hope it is most joyous and that you are pampered and adored sufficiently by all members of the Casa de Twinkie household. Here's hoping it's a beautiful and beurk-free day on the prairie.

I am sure it a good movie but as a mother of three sons I am not interested in any movie about boys and war.
Word.

WT...You're old like me, huh? Bifocals? Are we the same age? Born in '63? Graduated in '81?

DTD
....You are a traitor to the Commonwealth! Georgia, indeed. :sad2: How scary that would've been to be in the GA Dome last night! EEK! And...Glad to hear the Lady Cats won last night!!! But you were probably cheering for Mont. Co. ;)

BNCG....Looks like a fun evening! I hear you talk about MB all the time but never heard him sing. It's his name that bothers me. How do you say it? B o o b-lay? tee-hee

PJ....GOOD LUCK ON THE TEST TODAY!!!   Could that Nashville college possibly be Vandy? MTSU? Isn't your sister just 16? Already looking at colleges?

Lynette....A puppy? I am still basking in the glow of NOT having a dog. I can leave the back gate open...walk confidently across my back yard without looking down...open the door without putting my foot across the threshold to stop escapees...vacuum less. It's fabulous! Alas, I do have to pick up any food that falls to the floor. Oh well...a small price to pay. (Did you get some Resolve while you were at the store?) Have fun with the puppy. She's sure to be a cutie and I do like cocker spaniels. We had one when I was a kid. You should name her Mizzou.

Moo
....Thanks for the picture from Raglan Rd. I'm gonna be like Celery this year and make 47 ADRs just to cover all the bases! Emily just said no to WPC this year so I'm glad to hear there's a goog option.

Does anyone else think it's weird not having Marita here? Hope you're having fun, Marita!

HAVE A GREAT SATURDAY, EVERYONE!

GOOG MORNING, SUNSHINES!!!!
I think I was hit by the plague in the middle of the night. Abbreviated, non rambling version (shocking, I know): I woke up with a 101 degree fever and my throat hurts really bad. I feel just how I did when I had strep. Nonetheless, the test must go on. I'm not sure how I'm going to concentrate, my whole body hurts. I've taken dozens of ibuprofen and tylenol so the fever's down so that's goog. It's in keeping with the theme of the terrible, horrible, very bad, no good year.

Anyway....

Someone must have been a little loopy last night after that concert to be voluntarily posting pictures without a code Bambi! Excellent hotT college chick pics. :thumbsup2 heh

Lexi...she'll be 17 in May, and a Senior next year. She's already looked at a couple of colleges. Right now she says she wants to go to Samford which is in Birmingham. Today I think they're looking at Belmont.

And most importantly....

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, TWINKESSORI!!!!!!!
I don't have any fancy pictures for you. Forgive me?

Happy Birthday, Twinkie!!!! :cheer2:
I'm overnighting an Amish Frendship Bread starter as we speak. ;) It's the gift that keeps on giving. :rotfl:

In the meantime I got you a goog411 phone.

I hear ya sistah. Chad is already trying to get them recruited. :headache: So he can live vicaiously through them I suppose.

Goog 411 - A free 411(yes Nab it's directory assistance here too) service. Dial 1-800-goog411 OR buy a phone with the built in button because it's so cool and Mooverish.

Today we have the annual Easter Dinner and Egg Hunt at Mom's. We only have to travel 2 blocks, no cars involved. However, there will be no ham or other Eastery foods. It's everyone make a covered dish to share. I do miss ham and mustard for Easter. But, whatever. I'm making Italian Sausage Soup. It's souper yummy.

Everyone have a great weekend!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TWINKADOODLE!;)
Thanks Cowgirl! Just what I always wanted!!!

Thank you so much! So far it is a cloudy, snowy but beurk free day here on the prairie! I also vote for Mizzou for the lalijack-pup.

It's in keeping with the theme of the terrible, horrible, very bad, no good year.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, TWINKESSORI!!!!!!! I don't have any fancy pictures for you. Forgive me?
Of course you are excused! In fact I will share my cold medicine with you. I hope you feel better soon and score really well on your test in spite of the plague.

1. Ack! Noooo. Not Friendship bread!! I love that stuff. The Amish just want us all to be fat so we need quilts to convert to muumuus. ;)
2. Thanks for the info on goog 411 phone. It is cool and mooverish.

No real festivities here. I will NOT be celebrating with a margarita and some Kahlua creme pie from South of the Border (the restaurant not the tourist trap). I did that LAST year, about 38 weeks before Grasshopper was born:rolleyes1

It was fun. b o o b-lay. I want to say something about he probably gets lots of both, but I wont cuz that's not very angelic. And to answer your question, yes that is how he pronounces it. It's French Canadian, but i wont hold that against him. hee hee

Also, did you hear about a music group in the news yesterday whos bus burned up? That was his opening act. Yikes!

Hope you're having a wonderful day sistah wife.

I quoted PJ and MommyP. What the heckfire happened?

Anyway, have a nice time today MommyP!

PJ: Sorry you are sick.:guilty: And now that I think about it, I was really really loopy last night. Giggling at nothing and everything. Not that I EVER do that either. heh

I do alot of veggies cause I want everyone to be happy and have at least one or so choices......

Happy birthday to the Twinkie......hope your day is spectacular......
