MOOved Along . . .

Hey, I am up for chat!

BigL, what do you do for work anyway? Inquiring minds want to know.

I think I am going to run to the store and get some food.

Cool! How about 9ish?

I'm a buyer for an online retailer/wholesaler. Which is nice in that I can (and often do) go to work in yoga pants and Crocs. Plus, I have the good fortune to be able to make my own schedule, come and go as I please. The trade-off is the interaction with Crazybossman, who while mostly benevolent and harmless, is (as the name suggests) LOONY.

EliSabeth, thanks for that. Better you than me. Heh.

Happy Friday, MOOvers! I'm at work today (ick), and instead of my usual in-early, out-early Friday, I came in at noon and will be stuck here until 4-ish. Came in late because Natasha had a school concert this morning. What a hoot! Each class had their own song to sing plus a poem to recite, and then the entire group sang several songs together. Oh, the talent! :rotfl:

Today's annoying Crazybossman antics include a 30-minute rant about the office electric bill (yup, sitting in the dark again :sad2: ) and a lengthy and painful (for me) discussion about how he and his wife are trying to conceive a baby. This is imagery I just ought not to have in my head. KWIM? :scared:

I was hoping I could drum up some interest in a chat for later. Any takers?

Is your boss named Michael Scott?

I'd love to chat, but the stars have to be in alignment (no kids looking over my shoulder *etc*) put me down for a maybe.

I love kids class songs :lovestruc I really love when they wave at me as if no one can see them.

Someone tell me to go fold laundry. :laundy: It never ends. Maybe I'll watch me some court TV...you know Judge Judy or Judge Brown or whatever. Now there's goog tv. We're ALL kinds of classy compared to them :3dglasses

Nope, not even close.

So, we'll put you down for a "who knows, possibly" for chat then?

Heehee, I love the "secret" waves too. Waaaaay stealthy.

Go fold laundry. And when you're done, come on over and do some at my house too. If I live to be 112 years old, I will never catch up with all the laundry. :sad2:

1. I read that as Yoda pants. :yoda: and I thought. Welllll, she does wear camo, maybe she has a thing for alien/sci-fi/jedi green?

2. wagons. circled. need i say more?

Gosh we're practically high society compared to those people. lol

How do you feel after watching "Jerry Springer"? Like you could have tea with the Queen of England? Speaking of which...(I ramble, sorry) We have some friends from London. They actually LOVE the Jerry Springer show. They think that is the way the majority of Americans live their lives. Bunch of $%&@#*!. I used a British term, but I dont know if it's dis friendly, so I edited myself.

After our cold snap we are getting a snow storm now.....:sad2:

I am jealous UMA's kids can go out and ride bikes.

Spent the last two days giving my house a good scrubbing. And spent the night watching Survivor and Apprentice too. And tried to watch Idol too. Why do they put everything on in one night.

Twinkie-- Have fun with the boys party. When Nicholas has someone over they are so rowdy compared to Hannah's friends playing with her doll house and Polly Pockets.

Marita-- to funny thinking it was Saturday. Didn't you say you were going out for lunch with your co workers though? Less then two weeks now I am jealous.

Wendy, I hope the stars align for you.

I love me some court shows, every afternoon when I get home around 4. Peoples court at 4pm. taped Divorce court from 5-6, then Judge Judy.
Unfortunatly, I am working, so I pay almost no attention to it, LOL.
I have hundreds of Divorce shows taped that I played but paid no attention to. But should DH happen to stay up and watch news instead of letting me play the tape, I get huffy. Go figure! It's the prinicipal, I need my routine.

I am dying to turn off my work email, but I need to hang in another 30 minutes or so. And then I need a nap.

For working hours today, I got nothing much actuallyl accomplished. And yes, I DID work.

Hello all...

I am a maybe for chat also.

I am in a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad mood today so I may not be fit company.

Nothing seems to have gone right today and I am sentenced to make up my shift at middle school concession stand just 40 minutes from now. I can't see how that will improve my disposition. But I could be wrong.

I'll check back later.

Lexi, chat just may be just what the doctor ordered!

Boss just called :scared1: 15 minutes on the phone, then I told him I am logging off now. And I did. Ahhh, sweet freedom! I really did not care to discuss power drops return on investment at 4:30 on a Friday.

:offtopic: I just looked in the pantry (I forgot why) (I KNOW, LEXI) and saw a can of french onion soup. So I thought, hmmm, maybe I can make some good stuff (as in soup) with bread and cheese like in restaurants, so I looked for a recipe on the can.
No such luck, but I did see one for beef stew. I usually use the liquid from carrots and beans for stew and supplement with water, but french onion or beef buillion sounds better than water for supplement.

I guess I did not eat enough today, I am still hungry.

I just asked hubby if he would like to run to the store.
Guess what he said?

NO!!!!!

The minute my head hit my pillow, the phone rang.

After that, I settled back in with visions of sugar plums dancing in my head, then the door bell rang.

Third time, Dallen cracked open the door-of-death and yell/whispered/asked if he could have a sleepover with Jonah. The answer to that question was "*#@*&% (heck), No!"
Timing. Do males ever master timing?

Mom + Closed Door + laying down on bed + with eyes closed = RUN like the wind! S'not rocket surgery! :teacher:

Then DH came home and is loudly cutting more sheet rock downstairs. So now I'm wide awake. The nap eluded me a-gain.

It is a sign to stay up for chat, Wendy!

I am boiling some potatoes in skin to be mashed with butter, but sadly I am lacking sour cream. Oh well, it will have to do.

2. wagons. circled. need i say more?

1. Yeah, I wear Yoda pants frequently. I like the way complement my light sabre. ;) And btw, who DOESN'T love camo and/or jedi green?

2. 'nuf said. ::yes::

With matching Star Wars Jibbitz? I love that!

We had cheese hot dogs for punishment for my No Nap.

Except all they all liked dinner. Well that failed miserably.

Shoulda gone with liver. That gets 'em every time. ::yes::

Hey, Marita, I have a delish recipe for French onion soup (restaurant style). If you want it, let me know...I'll PM you. Mmmmmm.....soup. :goodvibes

We are making omelettes in ziploc baggies

The little twinkies want to decorate with pink streamers and feel so sad that we are not doing goodie bags.

OK- where are all the MIA peeps? abducted by aliens? making crop circles for leap day?
Ziploc omelettes sound interesting. Let us know how it goes ;)

Awww, no decorating or goodie bags for the poor trinkie princesses :sad1:

Amenn on our MIAs. Glad to see some checking in :grouphug:

Moo: Did you say pancakes? LOVE pancakes. ALMOST as much as bacon cheeseburgers. After careful consideration, I might love pancakes even more. If you really want to get on my good side buy me pancakes and a bacon cheeseburger. You'll be gold.
We'll keep that in mind for someday when we finally get to meet!!! My hubby loves burgers. In fact, he actually prefers them to steak

Missing Moover reporting in.

The drink of choice there, of which I had several, was a green concoction indelicately called alien piss. The rest of the evening is fuzzy.
Goog to have you back, DTD! Alien piss, huh?! No wonder the rest of your evening was fuzzy :scared:

I still remember "trash can" parties from college. Scary concoctions :rolleyes1 18 was the legal drinking age back then.

I was hoping I could drum up some interest in a chat for later. Any takers?
Me!!!

meds have been called in for hubby and myself and daughter has her husbands called in too.....this is for the flu influenza.....I started last night with a head cold and tickle in my throat.....dont know if it is it or a cold....but because of hubby and myselfs medical stuff.....they do not want to take a chance so we are in for meds......My daughter has had the flu for a week and the doctor said she could not get any meds.. Plus she showed up as a negative because she is on the down hill slide.......I just do not want to be sick.....I hate it.
Hope everyone feels better soon, Pumba

Maybe I'll watch me some court TV...you know Judge Judy or Judge Brown or whatever. Now there's goog tv. We're ALL kinds of classy compared to them :3dglasses
Heh heh - I'd have to agree with that too :thumbsup2

Hey, Nabbie - We got more snow today. It made for a very slippery drive to work this morning. Several cars in the ditches. Hope you don't get pounded too badly.

to whoever was slandering liver, my kids ASK for it. It is all in the preparation.

Ah young padawan- let me explain.
Thank you wise master. Now explain the ziploc part. Do we put them in the sun? Or what?
DTD: Are we meeting at the KY state fair again? Same time, same place? I'll be the one with the cheese fries and the bacon cheeseburger.;)

Celery: :snooty: (we have an image to keep up, remember?)
1. What? No goofy hat? For shame! :scared1:
2. I gotcha! :cool2: :rolleyes1 :snooty:

I saw Big L say 9 for chat and I was all bummed. But then! I remembered! 9 EASTERN is EIGHT CENTRAL! WOo!
Only no one is at chat except fer me and Marita.
